I only see one potential flaw in your design. Those finger joints in the same place on the upper and lower wood are a weak spot. It will probably be fine initially, but will fatigue over time. You should have flipped it, end for end, to back up the joint with solid wood.

If you use a downward spiral cnc bit. You will have less tear out for wood work. Great work

Guys, great build ! Very interesting techniques for those scales. Loved it.
Sad your lighting (or is it from the editing ?) is slightly too bright over a white-ish bench and an overall white background and dulls out the contrast; We'd love to marvel at it as much as you did when they came out of the mold.

A few questions that I didn't see addressed. How did you balance the gun? At what depth is the gun neutral buoyant? Did you have to add any weights. What length is the gun? What mm /brand bands did you go with. Did you add a swivel for your float line. Why doesn't the trigger guard go over the whole trigger?

Nice build. Could you make another spear gun but for average home owners? I do not have any of your nice equipment. I want to make my own but all videos have a nice wood shop. Cannot find plans for one too. Everyone has to make a fancy one.

Why do you overcomplicate life
Considering the amount of equipment involved, the speargun came out terrible. Functional, but not pretty. And that wood joint is atrocious.
Kind of a dumb video…. If someone had all that equipment….just buy a custom speargun. Not very informative nonetheless….
