    man wish I could record my rides here in Pakistan to let the world know how bad is it in here. for reference, once a local van passed almost half a foot near me. It must be going around 60-70 kmph. And then stopped after 200m, forcing me to leave the "cycle lane" to the main road with heavy traffic.

    I know of 4 people who died riding and one who is a paraplegic. And a lot of riders don't treat this as seriously as they should! Certainly there are certain motorists who hate us for unknown reasons!!

    • @robertsharp6072
      @robertsharp6072 3 года назад

      unknown reasons? lol cut the obtuse act. cyclists are slow as hell compared to cars and in groups take up so much of the road that drivers will of course get aggravated dealing with them. I would say the average driver hates cyclists and I dont blame them based on how the majority of cyclists act. that is they hold up traffic and break traffic laws left and right.

    • @shadowknight9807
      @shadowknight9807 3 года назад +1

      @@robertsharp6072 Share the road? Ever heard of that?? Cyclists ride on the shoulder - cars ride in the center of the road. When I see a cyclist do something dumb on a bike I hate it as it gives people like you another reason to hate cyclists. Do you think you have a right to kill cyclists by car? What I wrote here is true - I know a handful of people who have died and one who is a paraplegic with severe TBI. The paraplegic was hit by a drunk driver who rolled his car and landed on him. He told me that those people were laughing after they supposedly killed him. WTF.

    Single file,guys. Anything else is stupid and selfish considering bikes speed. I won't ride with a group on my motorcycle or bicycle cause on motorcycles there's always that one guy that nearly (or does) crash while in a group, and bicycles seem to think they're in the tour de france and take up all the road. To those guys, here's some advice: the best training isn't slipstreaming behind 15 others- get out in the wind in ones and twos.

    • @NakedUndone

  • @denis_kleshchev
    @denis_kleshchev 3 года назад

    Yes, those car drivers made some bad decisions and some of them just acted like totally morons,
    BUT!
    Why in the world do you own all the lane? The bike is like 500mm wide. If you go near the curb drivers are able to pass you without going to the opposite lane. It's way safer for all road users to let faster vehicles go than make them try to pass you in th opposite lane. Be nice and stay safe. Cheers!

      @@nicolasmattelin2374 here in Russia where I live we don't have this rule. We have right sided driving direction and in the same time cars with steering wheel in the right side are allowed. It is very usual when you ride a bike and right steered vehicle passrs you it goes right in the couple centimetres left to your left hand. Scary as hell. So I prefer to ride in the roadside (or curb, idk correct translation, I'm sorry) and I go to the road only when the curb is not rideable. Yes, it sucks, our rules don't protect bikers anyhow but if I was riding in these wonderful places from the video I would have go as right as I can

      You don't have more of a right to be on the road based on the width of your vehicle. Cyclists should generally take a secondary position which is roughly 1 metre from the edge of the road or from parked vehicles but they are perfectly within their rights to take a primary position in the centre of the road if they think the situation warrants it.
