This lens had a dust issue problem caused by bad seal and dust protection, the problem was fixed and I talk about from wich serial number it should be upgraded in the video.

This lense has a reputation to be very sharp and up there with the Best of Sony's Lense in the same catagory so I will be making a couple of videos testing the different aspects of this lense.

Great lens for the price. I previously owned the Sigma until getting my Sony 24-70 GM II. One of the issues I had with the Sigma was the lack of good weather/dust sealing. My lens kept getting dust particles inside even though it had never been used in a crazy dusty environment. From what I understand the dust gets sucked inside the barrel when going back to wide angle. Apparently Sigma fixed the issue later with revised lenses. As far as being as good as the Sony: It is not. Still a great lens though.
I did some research about the dust protection&weather sealing and is has been fixed from a certain serial number they say so hopefully I will not get that problem, got the Sigma on a good black friday sale price as well so exited for the future photos with this lens. The GM lenses is far away from my price range.. Thanks for commenting by the way !
