    My Review & insights:
    This voice changer actually works fairly well. And should be a core go-to for inexpensive voice changing capabilities for costume integration, gaming, etc.
    They designed it to integrate with various devices, including your phone, Xbox, PlayStation etc.
    It’s Far superior to the Halloween store voice changers. Any of those I’ve tried had limited features, and we’re mostly indecipherable.
    ------
    HOW TO CONNECT DEVICES:
    TO OUTPUT TO AN AMPLIFIER/SPEAKER: A dedicated Mic goes in the "mic" port on top & an amplified speaker goes into “headset” port on bottom.
    Depending on your amp/speaker first try using the included TRRS cable (those are the types if cables that came with the i9 (3 plastic separators & 4 metal sections on the 3.5 mm tip).) if it doesn’t work, try a TRS (regular stereo cable with 3 metal parts and 2 plastic separators.)
    TO OUTPUT TO A PHONE OR GAME SYSTEM:
    - FOR A 3.5MM HEADSET (headphones + mic combo) - plug into the “Headset” port on bottom; & plug your Phone, game console, or other 2 way devices into “Live1” or “Live2” ports on top using the i9 provided TRRS 3.5mm cable. (Note if your headset has 2 separate plugs for mic & headphones, connect it to a splitter/combiner designed for combining the 2 - it has 2 female 3.5 connectors and merge to a single TRRS male pin. Then put that pin into the headset jack.)
    - FOR A USB HEADSET - use a USB to 3.5mm converter - if your conveter splits into mic and headphones then you’ll also need a male mic and male headphones to a single TRRS 3.mm male converter cable.
    note for iPhones/iPads - you’ll need an iPhone to 3.5mm female converter to connect to your 3.5mm TRRS line that goes into the “Live” port.

      Try the mic in mic port. Then for amp connection - first try a TRRS cable from headset port to the amp’s mic input; if that gets no output try a TRS (stereo) cable from Headset port to amps mic port.

      1. Voviggol wireless mic - amzn.to/3SpcJO1 - yep that should work fine as an input.
      2. Making you sound like Iron Man: depends which one - if you want the more modern with a reverb sound- it’s viable via the “DJ” option. (however if you want the slightly robotic sound of previous iron men, it doesn’t do that well unless you want to sound like dr who Cybermen which don’t actually sound like Ironman UNLESS you’re a wanting Black Sabbath’s Ironman.)

    Hi, I’m wondering if this works for a PS5 headset? Would it work on the PS5 Pulse 3D headset? If so, how would I have to plug things in? Since the headset is both audio and mic. I’ve got a splitter but it doesn’t seem to want to use the mic of the headset, only the audio out to it instead. Any help would be great, thanks!

    • @creative-stuff

      If using for game connection use:
      - If you have a headset with 3.5 mm - run its TRRS connector directly into the “headset” port.
      - If you have a USB headset - you’ll need a USB to 3.5mm converter. - Ensure your signal is all sent back to a single TRRS 3.5 mm cable. (You may have to get a male TRRS to male Mic & male headphones cable if your USB to 3.5mm transition breaks those signals out separately. )
      This way your mic and earphones will go through that into the “headset” port ( don’t use the mic port).
      I’m seeing that my instructions in the description could use Improvement to be more clear on how to - so I’m updating those as well .

    Hi, I have a question, I would like to buy the multi voice changer too, do I have to attach it to a voice amplifier with a simple speaker and microphone, does it still work without connecting it to the mobile phone?

    • @creative-stuff
      @creative-stuff  10 месяцев назад

      Yes for the voice changer you can connect it to an amplified speaker Instead of a phone.
      Connect your mic to “mic” in on the i9, and your personal amp to headset out on the bottom of the i9 - use the original TRRS 3.5mm cable that came with the i9 -connect it to the mic IN on the personal amp.
      I recommend using a “personal voice amp” - an all in one system that includes mic, preamp (required for mics), amp, speaker, and optionally may also have a TF card / SD card, aux or USB input.
      Moukey Va-1 Personal amps are my favorite because they can be gutted and fit into helmets easily because of their small circuitboard size, if needed.

      I’m assuming your phone also has a 3.5mm port… the connection instructions are in the video description but - if I remember correctly- plug a 3.5mm HEADSET into the HEADSET port (that gives you your Mic & headphones, so you will both speak and listen from there.) Then plug the 3.5mm TRRS cable that came with the i9 into LIVE1 or LIVE2 and connect to your phone’s 3.5mm port. (You must use that cable don’t use other 3.5mm cables they won’t work).

      +@starchild5184 +@starchild5184 it will if you have a 3.5mm Wireless receiver connected to the 3.5mm mic input, however I’m unsure it could connect directly to a wireless mic that doesn’t have a user interface. That said - since it will process music from a phone over BT it may also work if you use your phone as a mic when connected by BT.

    What mic and speaker do you use mine won’t output to my speaker

    • @creative-stuff
      @creative-stuff  Год назад

      I use a personal amp as my output speaker and the electret mic that came with that personal voice amp. I plug the speaker into the headphones port and the mic into the mic port. (The amp’s line line I feed into the mic input on the amplifier so it uses the preamp to amp it just a little bit more). Make sure you use the cables that came with the voice changer, since they have 3 channels.

      There are cheaper versions than this one. However, if you’re going to gut it and take it out of the case, this is one of the smaller form factors that are actually still available in the market that would fit inside a helmet or something like that. The circuitboard is maybe 3“ x 2“ by a centimeter deep.

      Ensure you connect your device (phone or game system) to “Live1” or “Live2”. Ensure your headset (headphones + microphone combination) is plugged into the “Headset” jack. If you are not being heard - ensure your plug on your headset is a TRRS (4 metal contacts for mic, left, right, ground. Most obvious should be 3 black separators on the 3.5mm connector).
      If the headset is a TRRS, try a different headset.
      Hopefully that helps.
      Good luck.
