      Thanks brother! I agree with you, parting it out is the most sane decision that can be made for now. I am also super glad that everyone involved in the accident is fine, after all cars are just cars 🙏

    RIP to The Roach. I feel like "Taps" should be played in honor of the old warrior.

      Definitely, I wish more could be done to save it, but at this point there is core support damage from a previous accident and now the quarter panel and torque box 🥲. It will rest in useful pieces for my other 2 cars. Thanks my friend!

    Damn sorry about the car! Glad your brother isnt hurt. As they always say if you’re brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello. Looking forward to seeing that notch up and running!

      I appreciate that, thank you! I agree with you 💯 sometimes it’s tough to let go of a project you’ve put work into, but at this point it doesn’t make a lot of sense to try to bring it back. We can replace projects, we can’t replace family, so Im super glad everyone involved is fine.

    Ugh, tough hit! Sorry about that, man. Glad everyone is alright though, that's the important part. If I lived ~2,500 miles closer I'd try to snag the backseat, door cards, and head liner off of you. RIP Roach!

    I enjoy watching the Pakistan truck channel too! Those guys are amazing. They would weld that axle up as good as new.

    It hurts man, if it was mine, id chance fixing it, cut rear quarter off, and torque box, try pulling it back with come along, then just use as a everyday car

    • @MrBlitzkrieg1987
      @MrBlitzkrieg1987  6 месяцев назад

      We thought about that, but there is also a but of radiator core support damage from a previous accident. So the car would definitely need a lot of work. For now I’ll be using the engine and drivetrain on my notch, but once everything is out I’ll see if anything can be done with the shell.

    Let, the insurance pay for the car. Then buy it back, for a fraction. That, car can be repaired, fairly easily.

    • @MrBlitzkrieg1987
      @MrBlitzkrieg1987  6 месяцев назад

      Yea we’re definitely not letting the insurance take it, I need the engine to swap into my notchback. I think the car could be repaired as well, but it needs a quarter panel, the torque box, another differential, a set of wheels, also the radiator core support is bent from a previous accident. So its a long list where it would probably make more sense to part it out. Fixing it would be a pretty big bill

      @@MrBlitzkrieg1987you might have no choice,insurance companies ain't as stupid as people think and when they cut you a check,don't be suprised that they say they own it now,let us know what happens

      @@mustangjoe2066 Some, states may prohibit buying back insurance claim vehicles. I, speak from experience. Damages over 75% of tax value, totals a vehicle. You get a branded title, but you still have tour vehicle. On, low value vehicles, the insurance company will allow you to buy it back. They have more expense involved. Paying, to have transported to salvage auction and sellers fee at auction. They'll, have hundreds more invested,in a vehicle that has a very low tax value. Low tax value, equals low value, period. Your statement is correct. They're, not stupid.

      @@strokermaverick depending on how he had it insured and by visualizing it,he ain't getting much,maybe 3,000 to 5,000 for it if he's lucky ,performance parts are completely worthless, paint doesn't look like anything great,
