    Have you seen the throw I teach in this episode?
    It's one of my favourite to use in sparring because there's almost no chance of hurting my training partner.

      Gabriel I just watched a fight tip video where that guy is saying it's all right to kick people in the head in the street fight. You should be very careful teaming up with these people because they're not nearly as classy and as professional as you are. I cannot believe that Shane would give people advice like that when first of all it's clearly against the law to kick someone in the head with your shoes on. And the same people you shared your video with are saying that to people on RUclips who have no professionalism in them and will have no problem kicking someone in the face and saying that they told him to do it. I cannot believe that Shane would even tell people that

    • @RAPEDBYBLACKS
      @RAPEDBYBLACKS Год назад +8

      How is it against the law anymore than a different strike?
      Street fights are situational, you do what is needed to get out of tge situation.
      This is fighting its not ballroom dancing.

    • @matthew-jy5jp
      @matthew-jy5jp Год назад +1

      And to be honest with you Gabriel this is why I follow you. I have never heard you as a professional talking about hurting someone on the street. I find it so offensive that a professional like Shane would tell someone people to kick someone in the head in the street fight. There is a difference between you and everyone else

      There’s a vid of some sanda guys training this one years ago and I think the partner was caught by surprise, and the back of his head slaps the floor. But, I guess, if you are asleep and don’t fall right, or the coach isn’t worried about safety, you’ll get hurt doing anything.

    Nice technique, I learned it from Sanda/Sanshou myself. It's a very high percentage move. You can also blow someone's knee out if you choose to push forward first then quickly jerk it before executing the move.

    • @huwhitecavebeast1972
      @huwhitecavebeast1972 Год назад +2

      Yep. Blowing out the knee was my first thought. That's why I never round kick to the body, because if they catch your leg pinned to their body blowing out the knee is easy as can be. Don't even have to try to throw.

    The Muay Thai counter to catching a leg is scary stuff if you're an innocent like me. They'll jump into you so they're above the foot you've caught, stamp downwards (with a sweaty leg) while grabbing your neck in a Muay Thai clinch. You can go from grabbing the leg to being kneed in about two seconds.
