I think it's super neat watching you learn certain video game habits. Dodging while keeping the enemy in view is instinctual to a lot of people who regularly play video games, but when you have to actually think about it, it suddenly gets a lot harder. Like swimming while trying to think about exactly what your arms are doing. But you're definitely picking it up!
Maria, please notice the compass at the top center of the screen. You don't have to figure out if you have to go left or right. Just follow the compass. And also don't forget to observe the eye icon below it. It shows when you're visible or not. And also if you're making noises.
I do check it. But I think it only points towards the correct direction of the final destination right? So there might be twists and turns along the way in which just going straight ahead doesn't work. Or does it actually always point towards the path you have to take, adjusting along the way?
@@marpi2264 No, you're right. It only points towards the final destination. It doesn't adjust along the way. But it usually points towards the correct path despite the turns. Good to know you're using it. I've thought you haven't noticed it because it seems you didn't notice other important landmarks the compass show to you like machines nearby, tall necks, cauldrons, and so on.
@@marpi2264 You’re doing great. Your battle skills improved a lot and also really fast considering how much you've played. You only have to try to stay calm on battles to dodge only when is necessary. But this comes with practice. Also, don't forget to tame another machine for a mount. You don't want to cross this huge map on foot.
You are doing great, the way you exploded that heard of grazers was *chefs kiss*. Tear blast might be better on the scrappers and sawtooth to remove their weapons then use normal arrows to finish them off. Good to see you getting the hang of sideways dodging, it will become more important later. The cauldron would be a good diversion if you want to do that soon.
maria nice to see you are using fire arrows but tearblast arrows are the first ones you should shoot to remove armor and weapons from robots with guns etc. You can also pick up the fallen guns and shoot them with it.It makes life so much easy. Also finish the damage column first in your skill tree.
Haha, good to see Maria developing the gamer habit of looting chests first, helping strangers second.
Wooooowww!!!!!! Great dodging in 18:24. Your gaming skills are increasing! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

I found it really helpful to bind the dodge roll to one of the mouse thumb buttons if your mouse has them.
I am always amazed how Maria learns how to play games she playing

That's alright Maria. _We_ like you!
Oh, you meant ... like fire arrows. Right.
Too easy.
