The purple arrows from the bigger bow are very suitable to blast off components, but deal little damage otherwise. They work great on the crabs, especially if you shoot 2 or 3 at once.
You've definitely gotten accurate with that bow. Instead of running away when enemies get close, don't be afraid to use your spear to beat them up. It's surprisingly effective. I love the design of the Cauldron. Feels very alien and contrasts nicely with the natural and tribal world outside.
Awesome first try, this Cauldron can feel super daunting at first. It sure made me turn back and try another time 😄 If you want to make the final battle a bit easier, try placing trip wires and traps around the big guy before releasing him 😊
Those red pyramid things are vents that will release fog when you hit them so that you can hide to get stealth kills. Damn your face cam was not on when you rolled to your death 🤣 at least you did not get sent too far back. Just be careful when fighting and rolling in some areas as it can be easy to roll over the edge (just after I typed this you have found this out 😂🤣) Your best tear weapon are the tear blast arrows and are very effective against the shellwalker, they will rip his claws off so he has no shield or shock weapon. Detaching the cargo on their back will leave them vulnerable to attacks from behind. They are pretty slow and easy targets once they have lost their cargo. You keep forgetting to use traps when you say you want to try them lol. It will be the same button as when you use health potions and you will place them just in front of you. The best thing to do before overriding the pylons is to place traps and tripcaster wires around the area, especially where the shielded entrances are to give you the upper hand in the coming fight. Try not to panic and constantly dodge roll, once is usually enough to avoid an attack and gives you more time to get a hit in, and I think it is actually slower than running. The watchers will go down in a couple of hits with the spear so is good to take them out first so you can focus on the main guy. I don't think fire is effective on a fire machine (it may have 1 spot that will explode if hit with a fire arrow, just take your time aiming to hit it) Ice bombs might be better. You were doing better towards the end, got in a few good dodges and a did a lot of damage with just normal attacks. Shame you were out of healing as you would have done it. You could also have used the ropecaster to pin it down for a bit to give you time to aim at a weak spot. I can't remember but I think some of the other types of potion reduce the damage of certain types you receive or gives you more strength. A bit more practice and playing around with your other weapons and you should beat this easily, plus is good practice for harder fights later on in the game.👍
Remember to always aim at the machine's components one at a time, they are all weak spots because they do big damage when you break them off. In the case of the bellowback, aim at the green fuel sacks, they will explode causing huge damage and disabling its fire attacks.
The red vents are actually good. Busting one open releases steam/mist that allows you to stealth similar to red weeds. This also a good time to use the damage resistance potions to take the edge off their fire (or shock or cold) attacks. As stated below these fights are made easier by turning the battlefield into a minefield with traps and tripwires. Remember if it glows its probably something worth shooting. Your focus will light up vulnerable spots.
The fire bellowback is resistant to fire except for the small vials on it's belly. You shot them at time 42:00 and set it on fire. Listen for the sound of glass breaking and the jet of fire. You can see your screen shake at 42:04 when they explode, and the fire icon appear on the bellowback when you turn around at 42:08. Attacking the large green sacks on it's back with normal arrows is the easiest way to defeat a bellowback. Remember you can double arrows with R for any of your bows. Traps, potions, the distraction rock/whistle, and summon machine all use the same button. Just cue up whichever one you want to use. Try using the slide, (Sprint + Crouch) instead of rolling in combat, you can still attack while evading enemies.
Amazing battle with the shell walker Maria! Congrats! That battle was the proof that when you hit the weak spots correctly, the battle becomes way easier. I'm sure that it will be the same with the Bellowback next time. You just have to stay calm. Try to keep him in your eyes of sight while you're running and use the skills you've upgraded.
Thank you! =) I know I should keep them in my eye of sight, it's just very difficult xD haha I'll paste what I answered someone else. The problem is I can't run and dodge and look anywhere else but to where I'm going. Like run to the side and keep my eyes on target. It's just some fingers gymnastics I don't master. It's getting better every gameplay, but it's still really difficult. But I now added the dodge option to a button on my mouse and it has helped tremendously. :D It's getting there
@@marpi2264 Personally, regarding the fingers gymnastics as you said 😬, instead of keeping pressing the roll button all the time, I think it's easier just holding the sprint button to run sideways like circling the machine, and press the roll button only when the machine attacks. Then, when I have a good angle of attack, I stop, aim, and shot.
it has always been easier than you thought, yet you'd run away edit: what you did at the very end is what you should have done when you still had health potions, and you were barely taking any damage being really close to it dealing damage. circle strafe(aim at and run sideways), dodge, melee, circle out, shoot, dodge, melee, etc etc. it was slow to lose HP because you were mostly hitting all the defensive armor pieces instead of the weak spots

win or lose it always fun watching a Maria video
I'm glad you have fun! xD
Shoutout to Maria that despite illness uploads her episodes!
I appreciate it :D

I played this game for so many hours and legitimately never knew about that. I littered the rooms with traps for the 1v1 and dodged like a mad man.

Looks really challenging when youre facing it alone!
Hope youre having fun haha
Yes! It's a lot of fun! Especially since I by now I have already killed him :D

Use ICE weapon against the boss ;)
Hey. I recommend sea of thieves you play as a pirate robbing from the seven seas. It is on Steam
Tearblast arrow Bros 🤦♂️ you still did not use it at least your aim has become quite good
