If you tame those Rogue creatures, you can bring them into your traveling pack. Usually takes having 2 or 3 buddies along to help tame them. This also makes you friendly with their nest if you ever find it. If you manage to bring 3 non-your-own creatures with you into Tribal Stage, you have them as farm animals laying eggs for your food, really helpful in tribal as 1 tribe member can just gather their eggs all day and still be at base to defend if needed. Great job so far!

Some cell stage Spore tips: You can expand the foremost spine segment, and then it's easier to snap 2 spikes into "headlight" position, then you can drag a claw mouth over them to swap them out and have 2 predator mouths framing 1 herbivore mouth to let you eat all things and have a rather powerful front. This same process [expand>headlights position] works on the back end, but there's no major gain for just using that tactic for spikes or other damaging parts. You want all the offensive things, having electric makes you immune to electric and the same for poison. It gets cluttered, but simply having them is all you need for immunity. Can you hear and listen...? From my experience of life, many do hear but very few listen. You playing through this for the first time is kinda fun. Weird to see someone not know how to play the game. Easy is the better option for a first time playing the game. It's not TOO easy, but it's a smaller challenge. Your high game-screen resolution makes it difficult to see your progress bars... 10:15 Screaming at the screen for you to mate and get WEAPONS! 12:31 Your colour is glitching, hmm. Either you got this game on Steam, or your graphics settings are bad. Tags/description are optional (mainly for sharing your creations online), you just need to name it. 15:59 Funny you not realising that massive thing was in the background and not actually dangerous to you. 25:48 The guys chasing you, turn and kill them, then eat the meat. Each flagella you ADD makes you faster, but whether its one or two (or where they are) makes no difference. Spikes front and back would protect you more, and then put the Flagella in the middle. 39:50 You have poison/venom. Poison/spikes are good for attacks, and carry over as attacks in Creature stage. 40:50 You cannot poison yourself, or be affected by poison in this stage if you have it. You died to spikes. It is the Jet that is making you hard to control. Replace it with two lots of Flagella = same speed and better control. Also, I'd recommend making your mouth a bit BIGGER... Bigger electric parts make your shock radius larger. The larger the part and its location, more chance you have to shock others. Are there not many people in your livechat that can tell you how to make all these changes...? As a Marine biologist, you should really know that life isn't actually "survival of the fittest" or "only the strongest survive". It's a game called "Outer Wilds", it's not Marine Biology related, but instead of ocean exoration, it's space exploration. It's my absolute all time favorite game, I hope you'll at least watch the trailer for the game! Thank you for all your videos!!!!

You should try play thrive. It is a game in development that is like spore but also has microbiology, single cell and multicellular organisms which you can make. The idea is to evolve them into a space fairing species

I wonder at what difficulyy MarPi is playing this game at.... I just completed it on story mode, and I seem to remember only having 3 human enemies along the deathbringer. MarPi seems to have more human enemies at that place. Also, the dodgeroll run-away she does I do not think helps her as it makes it more difficult to keep track of where the enemies are. But otherwise interesting to watch how different she playes than I did, as I almost never used the flame arrows, but rather the hardened arrows. And I never used the "sonic-boom" arrows. I generally used just my primary bow, which had flame arrows, ordinary arrows and hardened arrows. But I did all the pouch upgrades, so I had 60 of each arrow to use from. And also I placed upgrades in all three modification slots of the bow. Made the bow quite a lot stronger once I found upgrades with 30 or more in their stat when looting bigger enemies.

Very Important: In order to get context, and the anazing story, I recommend staying in place while datapoints play so cutscenes dont cut them off, and Also not scanning multiple things or looting when you do, it can sometimes cut off very important and interesting context.

"Were the robots pretending to be humans?" No, the military was censoring messages to keep morale high and to prevent the spread of details of the operation to the robot swarm. Good job on the Deathbringer. It's a tough fight. If you encounter one again look for the orange glowing things that pop up when it overheats (either due to your fire arrows or by it firing at you).

maria you should use a 50 dollar Xbox controller for your PC. I think it is easier to use than keyboard and the buttons don't change much for different games

Good episode! Many side quests offer some good insight into this awesome world, I suggest doing as many as you can, on or of camera. When you play Forbidden west you'll get more of the references and things will make more sense. This is the most facinating game worlds I have played so far. See you on the next one 😁👍

There is a good game called "In Other Waters", I recommend to check it out. It's about alien marine ecosystem.

2 Very important things about Horizon Zero Dawn: 1. You scan the Object that's lighting up purple for data, NOT the little circle above them. 2. I recommend looking for & Scanning & Reading/Listening to, as many of the datapoints as you can find on Main Quests, and also, if you like great worldbuilding, In General. You miss a LOT by not doing so.

After you finish Horizon you should try Subnautica!

The fact is you start more as a chordate ichthyoplankton than a singular cell organism, because there was supposed to be an intermediate 3D water section that was cut, so that's why we don't get the amphibious stage of evolution
