The last time I heard someone say Jyuratodus was difficult was, coincidentally, also the first time I heard someone say Great Jagras is a big threat in the game and Lunastra is the most tame monster to fight. Fishlegs over here could die just from you formulating a plan of action against it.
I Wonder how would it behave if you lured it deep into the desert, in really waterless áreas like The ant nests. Also I wonder how would it battle with diablos. He would probably get wreckt on land but Not in the water. I have seen even deviljho trying to fish out jyuratodus but he Just gets smacked by the fish. One of the few monster i've seen that can battle jyuratodus in the water is bazelgeuse, because he Just bombards the poor thing into oblivion

They really should have racked their brains for maybe at least one more fish. Like all the bounties you can mostly do easily without really thinking about them, but if it’s for piscine monsters then you have to actively go out of your way to do it. Flying fish are a thing, do a flying fish

i used this opportunity to teach my friend, how to play monster hunter on pc. took him to fight jyura sort of tall order, told him to fight on his own. took my ghille and stood in a corner to see how friend of mine gets frustrate. and he left the game for good for no reason. now he plays apex and valorant. nothing compared to this game imo as this monster hunter is really fun game.
