What is incredible in this fight when you sit down and analyze it, is that here we, the bearers of Hope, chase and fight the embodiment of Despair while riding upon wings of Wrath. Zenos has taken form of Shinryu, who in turn is the creation of Ilberd, powered by Nidhogg's immortal rage, born out of the atrocities of humanity... for the dragonkind sought and thought they had found solace from Omega (and indeed, it was Midgardsormr himself that took the wrathful form of Shinryu when he faced and defeated Omega in ages past). On and on this cycle goes, resulting in this wrathful manifestation, this rage, this answer: No, this will not be the end. Because if it is, what of all we had suffered before? All this meaning, embodied in this beautiful spectacle of interactive visual and musical storytelling. Peak fiction right here.
...Geez, when you summarize Shinryu like that, it's actually crazy. More so when Middy is the final ARR dungeon and Ilberd is in the final ARR cutscene, Nidhogg had all of HW, Ilberd is the final HW dungeon, Shinryu is the final dungeon+4.0 trial of Stormblood, and Zenos(kind of) returns again at the end of Stormblood for another dungeon plus solo trial... the only period of time where the specter of Shinryu in some form or another wasn't present was in Norvrandt.
It's incredibly appropriate as well that we fight the Endsinger along Zenos. Zenos was not a good person by any measure, yet his values perfectly opposed the Endsinger. The Endsinger believes that suffering makes life meaningless; that ending all life in the universe would be a kindness, since life is nothing but pain and misery. We understand that this conclusion is wrong and naïve. There is suffering in life, yes, but it is outweighed by the joy that can be found elsewhere. Zenos perfectly embodies that idea. He not only chose to live, but quite literally defied death in pursuit of a single purpose; to fight the WoL. Though his entire life was spent in boredom and misery, he actively chose to continue living, that he might find the one thing that could bring him joy. The tedium of his entire life would be outweighed by the unmatchable bliss of battle against a true equal. And so he joins the WoL and opposes the Endsinger with all his might, to ensure he attains his goal.

So while it is the theme that plays when we fight her. It is quite literally OUR song of hope. Meaning it is our answer to the despair of the endwalker, it is literally our boss theme she is hearing.
In this scene, the Endsinger flees from Zenos, finding in herself dread, fear…demise, for as long as the WoL stands, Zenos is impervious to the Endsinger’s onslaught and would devour her outright if not to witness this battle first hand to ensure his rival is still worthy of the pursuit.

I think the 2 most important things with playing healer on controller are a) Rapid D-pad pressing. You want to be able to cycle through the party list as quickly as possible. It'll take some practice, but this skill is really critical especially on AST because of all the cards you'll be using b) Smart hotbar layout. The face buttons (X Square Triangle Circle, or ABXY) are much easier to press than the D-pad, especially while moving. Therefore, you'll want to put your most commonly-used actions, such as GCDs, on those buttons. Also, you'll want to practice with the "right thumb on left stick" technique to use D-pad actions while moving. Those are the things to focus on most I think. Is there something else you're struggling with?
@@uvi- thank you for taking your time to respond, my issue is not being able to apply the appropriate cards fast enough on my teammates which is a skill like you said I probably do need to practice more I struggle with raiding/trialing as AST because there’s too many people to get through to reach the needed person

BIG FAT TACOS
Sephirot be like: THATS MY GIRL!!!!!
much as this is ha hype song, I kinda wish we had something darker and depressing for phase 1, give the endsinger her own song. Maybe a version of what comes of despair? would make the switch to "with Hearts aligned" for phase 2 even better.
Big Fat Tacos keep evolving
BIG FAT TACOS SO BIG
The bird of Hermes is my name

Hello Eve from Stella Glow.
For when your exam/project is due tomorrow.
BIG FAT TACOS! AND BIG FAT TACOS! AND BIG FAT TACOS! WE EAT!
the drop at 2:48 is.... 🥵
truly the final boss theme of all time
I love this theme but now I'm mad it didn't play in the final Omega raid.
Bruh how would it
Omega came out in Stormblood.
(Also thematically wouldn’t even fit in the slightest, why would Thordan’s theme play there????)
@@DraconicCatgirl given the history between the dragons & omega, it could be fitting
@@yves5364 Omega has been in an induced coma since the Third Astral Era, he doesn't even know what the fuck an Ishgard is.
@@jacobkern2060 seeing as dragons are space aliens from the outer reaches of the cosmos, Omega knew about dragons before Ishgard did.
@@Shiirow Yes, but why would Omega know about Thordan (or Emet-Selch, for that matter), when man's been on ice for five millennia?
Anyone know the OST Title??
This track is titled "The Final Day"
I will probably remove the anti-spoiler thumbnails/titles after 6.1 drops
First time as dark knight when the moment wipe start to count I think Paladin gonna LB3 but he didn't do that cause he tell paladin LB3 is lame. So he want me to use LB3 cause it's cool?
Meteion did nothing wrong? More like Zenos did nothing wrong.
Meteion zenos and griffith did nothing wrong. Your wrong simply by exisiting
Elidibus did more wrong in Zenos's body than Zenos did.
Are y’all on crack? They both did wrong
@@the.duck.is.ronin. honestly true
Zenos sat around menacingly for most of endwalker lol, fandaniel and Hermes did all the work lol. In fact zenos did more good than bad lmao kind of funny in the end he didn’t even accomplish anything with your body.
Zenos this is the closest we will ever physically get I am not interested in you like that.
Posting in the year 20XX. MELEE.
Oh my god how do you play astro on controller i need your help!
I think the 2 most important things with playing healer on controller are
a) Rapid D-pad pressing. You want to be able to cycle through the party list as quickly as possible. It'll take some practice, but this skill is really critical especially on AST because of all the cards you'll be using
b) Smart hotbar layout.
@@uvi- thank you for taking your time to respond, my issue is not being able to apply the appropriate cards fast enough on my teammates which is a skill like you said I probably do need to practice more I struggle with raiding/trialing as AST because there’s too many people to get through to reach the needed person
is this (a Biblically accurate angel)?
Nah just a Bird Person
@@TheNeoVariable are you absolutely certain this "bird person" isn't an Intoner?
@@christopherbravo1813 idk probably is
@@TheNeoVariable ...I actually said that as a joke.
still, the similarities are a bit uncanny.
God this is funny
I’m not religious (I’m in fact atheist) but I know based on history and dnd study that it does kind of result in this kind of *creature* being depicted as Devine
Lmao, this SGE is overhealing like crazy.
No penalty for doing that
