I love the Kelvin timeline Constitution class a really beautiful looking Starship
Absolutely :)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios cool
You must have been or are a great Fanfiction writer! Please continue your narratives!
Thank you so much, though really, I never wrote much fan fiction ;) These are my first attempts ;)
right ? its so convincing and soothing ! and exciting
Wow! Love how this expands on early years of the Kelvin-verse. Great explanations on the plot holes and all the advance changes.
If all StarTrek was to be readdressed fixing errors, expanding &/or subtracting on ST episodes as needed. All to enrich and improve ST fans experience in watching the show. I would nominate this guy to be in charge of it.
Thank you for your wonderful shows and Keep boldly on making more! 🖖
Thank you so much :) That means a lot :)
Great video, can you please do one on the USS Vengeance. It is my favorite ship from that time line.
LOL Next Monday ;)
Man, this is an awesome Beta Canon layout. Now, I'm curious as to what the Enterprise D would have looked like in the Kelvin timeline. I wonder if it would still have been a glass cannon.
Thank you, and you never know, we still might find out :)
honestly with the paranoia and scarring in that universe it would have been a monster I bet...canon universe had it luckier than the Kelvin timeline
Another fantastic video and a well written beta canon. You know, I still hold hope we'll see more of the 1701-1 from the Kelvin timeline. I really liked the changes made to the design and wanted to see her in action.
This is some quality stardust. I always look forward to these videos.
Thank you SO much :)
thank you for the Video you did a better explination of the kelvin time line then the movies did i was always edgey about this time line but the way you explain it it makes sense and far more enjoyable with the background info again great story keep up the great work
Glad you enjoyed it! And thank you so much :) It always warms my old heart to hear things like that ;)
Loved this one. I am interested in the history of starbases. The spacedock in movies and shows has amazed me in how big the thing is.
Always did like how the Kelvin enterprise was bigger then the prime timeline enterprise.
... fantastic story, stitching together those bits of information into a believable tale that, to me, made much more sense than just throwing it on a movie screen without explanation hoping it sticks ...
Thank you so much :) I do try ;)
I still do not know what to think about this version of the Enterprise. Not sure what it is. There are definitely some features that are cool such as the intercoolers on the nacelles. The way that they open and the lighting when the ship goes to warp. 🤯
Excellent job. You seriously need to be on the writing staff for at least one of the series.
Peace and long life 🖖🏼
You are always too kind :)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios
Just telling it like it is, the truth. If you actually took a poll, you might find that most, if not all, of your fans think the same as me. 🖖🏼
I kind of want to see what a Kelvin Excelsior would look like
I rewatched the 2009 Star Trek yesterday night
Love this ship!
Yes, it's a great design :)
Love how plausible you make all these justifications sound - the only weak one is building the Enterprise on the ground, but that's the cards we're dealt 😉
Makes me actually enjoy the Kelvin timeline a little more
I love to hear that :)
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely well done and very well executed and informatively explained in every way shape and form and detail possibly provided to you on this subject matter indeed, And I myself think that the Enterprise would of been a lot cooler looking if they could of designed it more like the SNW Enterprise making it more closer looking to the TOS Constitution class indeed!,👌.
Like the Kelvin Constitution Class and the Kelivn Timeline. our Beta Canon schould Alpha Canon von the Kelvin Timeline.
Excellent video. Makes me hate the JJ-prise even less. My biggest iss with the first JJ-prise is the distance between the nacelles (way too narrow). But your take and presentation thereof is great!
Thank you, always makes me happy to hear things like that :)
I've got to say that I love the fact you justified the massive size increase as being a 'room computer' situation. They have the advanced technology but they can't miniturise it so they just made the rest of the ship large to accommodate it. It makes me think that if we were to ever see 24th century kelvin vessels that they wouldn't be that much larger as the technology got smaller.
This hits all the right spots!!!
Thank you :)
I wondered how an Kelvin Galaxy class would've looked like?
They wouldn't have Galaxy Class... as such Kelvin verison of Constitution is in technology far beyond ST Nemesis upgrades of Enterprise-E.
SW, thats not necessarily true... They would continue to develop technology and could most definitely have a Galaxy Class, just it wouldnt be recognizable to the one we know from the Prime Universe!
I'm okay with this version though there are some tweaks I'd probably make. Does look great from certain angles. I think my biggest complaints would be how much of the ship's interior is bright white, especially the bridge. Doesn't seem to make sense for an active vessel & I imagine a strain on the eyes. Another interesting vid 🖖
I love how you explain this enterprise looks so much like the re fit enterprise from the original 1701
I love this narrative! A great background on this class.
I buy this backstory of the Kelvin timeline Constitution class more than the one which had Robert April in command of another Constitution class Enterprise which not only looked exactly the same but also had the same registry even though the Enterprise we got in the movie isn't the Enterprise A.
Yeah that theory doesnt work for me!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios I was referring to an actual story in the prequel comic series Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness which features a previous Enterprise which was launched in the 2230s and was decommissioned in 2257. But yeah, it doesn't make sense.
Oh I know what you're referring too, however, those comics were declared void when Picard launched... Thus making them an invalid theory!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Good.
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios I like April’s jacket in that story. Not so much the story itself though. Also what in Picard make that story void?
The movies are an interesting look into an alternate timeline.
Awesome two part series a big fan of the Kelvin Timeline I explore this universe in my upcoming fan fiction comic series Star Trek Sojourner.
This is brilliant, another great job. I wonder since the lower decks of the Walker class were made to accommodate the traswarp drive. Did they have to move the bridge to deck 1 then?
Thank you so much, and for the bridge question, that's an excellent question... Maybe... Though Id guess they just built around it :)
Really loving these videos. And am I the only one the loves the refit design of the new Enterprise A?
I wonder what's crossfield class looks like in Kelvin universe?
Just a thought
Probably about the same :P Tune in to next weeks episode for more on that ;)
Hell of a story you put together. It's canon as far as I'm concerned 💪💯👍
Great video as always, I love it!! You are a star trek legend.
A word of advice: why don't you make a video BETA CANON about the Kelvin timeline ships?
Great job on both parts. Again I know I'm late to the party but I enjoyed both parts and their stories. As I said in Part 1 I prefer the Enterprise-A shown at the end of Beyond. I wonder if we'll ever get a 4th movie and will see more of the Enterprise-A.
I cant help but wonder how much of the USS Shenzhou, was just stardust, rather than being based on a book?
LOL, well you'll have to get out there and read/ play all the Beta Canon to find out ;)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Nice way to some up what could have happened in the Kelvin timeline by using Beta Canon.
Loving the interpretation here.
About the standard starship construction during the 23rd.cemtury. Which do you prefer as official for the first timeline? That ships were fully constructed in space? Or that their various sections were conducted on Earth and then assembled in space?
Love to see the beta canon of the year 2409 from Star Trek Online!
Woohoo! 1 week!
When you say "transwarp," are you talking about TMP transwarp or TNG transwarp? I know the Borg had TNG transwarp, but I don't know if the Narada would have it.
Interesting...
Thanks...
So I wonder in the Kelvin timeline will M-1 be successful or will the failed M-5 experiment happen again? Is it possible that components from something like the M-1 made it to the Vengeance?
I do like your Beta Cannon thoughts.
Mondays upcoming video will answer all your questions ;)
Having the ship be build in an atmosphere would be just perfect to hide from long range surveillance sensors by the klingons.
Going to do the other starships we see in the first Kelvin movie?
Indeed I am! Wait until Next Monday ;)
So where did Khan fit in to all this?
I always thought he and the Botany Bay were found before Kirk got the captain's chair.
Edit: In the kelvin timeline.
You'll have to wait until Next Mondays video for that! ;)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Ooh, you little tease!
I dont like to spoil the fun ;)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios HEY, what kind of communication is this gentlemen
Sorry what?
to be honest if they decided to have this as the cannon events I would not complain o_o
I like it, this is fairly similar to my theory about the changes between timelines. I figured they got some tech from the Borg encounter by the NX-01, that lead to starfleet supersizing their ship designs (ie the massive Kelvin) because all the borg tech was just big, and then the tech gleaned from the Narada refined the tech of the nu-Constitution and Vengeance classes (you can see a technology difference from the previous generations of ship and the nu-constitution).
I also blame the changes in the timeline in the prime universe on the Borg/Enterprise encounter in 2063 that affected the development of early earth ships, and the NX-01 encounter with the Borg led to the general enlargement of ships (Discoprise vs TOS Enterprise).
Great story, the cell are just ugly.
i wonder if daystrom will get a part in a future movie or short. 1000 something-th like
I don’t like the Kelvin Enterprise-A nor the Beyond design making it look skinnier. The only thing I liked in the beyond design is the impulse engines. The “2009” and “Into Darkness” designs are the better designs in my opinion.
Guess who's back
I dont know, who? :P
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios The Kelvin timeline videos I love them
Thank you :)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios no prob I always thought the Kelvin timeline needed to be explored way more
It still may :)
wow how is it that you are just so dam good at what u do ???? it sad to say one day some bigtime Movie Makers are going to see what u can do and take u away from us wink wink:} :{
The warp engines are the only thing i don't like.
Kirk went from Cadet to Captain, Tilly Cadet/Ensign to Commander now Lieutenant in season 4!
Im sorry but you're incorrect... Tilly went from Ensign and stayed Ensign, merely assuming the position of First Officer... If you look at the show she still is carrying the rank of Ensign through out...
the 24 year gap between the opening scene and the start of Kirk's entry into starfleet is the biggest plot hole of the movie
How so?
🖖🖖🖖🥃
Wait the Discovery era is in the Kelvin timeline?
No, DSC takes place in the Prime Universe, but since Star Trek is a multiverse, there is nothing to say that the USS Discovery and other starships dont exist in both universes!
The USS what? Capt. Whom?
the corvette of star trek though anyone wanna see uss vengence for the narada i do!
That the JJverse was an alternate timeline made this movie palatable but what doesn't sit well with me Is that the USS Kelvin, a Prime timeline survey vessel, was almost twice the size and nearly double the crew of the Constitution-class, a heavy cruiser. Survey vessels are supposed to be around the same size as scouts and science vessels...
Says who? You cant place real world habits of today on future fiction... By that point, the scientific equipment required to do the accurate surveys needed might be large and bulky requiring more space to house...
Love the information and the back story provided here, very informative.
Still.
The Kelvin Enterprise has to be one of the ugliest ships in Sci-Fi.
Oh no its a great design with FAR more ugly designs in SciFi!
How did they solve the advanced aging problem with the transwarp ?????
What advanced aging problem? If you're referring to what happened in Voyagers episode Threshold, it wasnt transwarp that caused that but going infinite warp or warp 10... Transwarp is every warp factor between warp 9.99 and warp 10!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios no I think it was something about time and it’s dilation with the warp field……..
Without a specific episode to reference, I have no idea what you're talking about... However, whatever issues they would have had, were solved!
I can't sugar coat it! I hate this ship!
And you're welcome to hate it! Thats the beauty of IDIC, you can hate something while other people love it!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios 🖖😊
Um they have no shields though jj Abrams doesn't know how shields work I guess
Um, yes they have shields, as shields are raised and lowered and discussed in the movies often!
The uss constitution is first one
Not in the Kelvin Universe it isnt! Also, why did you like your own comment?
So... Disco is the Kelvin verse, always a suspicion.
No it isnt, DSC takes place in the Prime Universe, but that doesnt mean that versions of the ships dont exist in both universes!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Yeah imagine Kelvin spore jumps that would be insane
Next weeks video will actually go in to that much deeper ;) :P
Because DSC wasnt made 30-50 year ago... And Visual matches are meaningless... The powers that be, who own Trek say it's Prime, and thus it's Prime, the end, case closed! Also again, why are you liking your own comments?
