Great review of so many computer speakers. I didn't realize the KEF LS50 meta were active. Also, I would like to see a review of the Kanto line, especially the Oras. Thank you!
Next time, include the edifier Luna Eclipses, Edifier MR4, and 1700bt, also some of the Kanto speakers, IK Multimedia iloud and/or iloud MTM, and maybe genelec 8010as for an extra premium option along with the KEF ls50 People also like to buy the cheap presonus eris 3.5 or 4.5, or the equivalent Mackies, but they're all terrible.
Presonus and Mackies aren't terrible, they're just flat because they're meant to be studio monitors, so definitely not suitable for movies, gaming etc. Many people don't even like them for music as they can sound too sterile.
I'm not sure how you compared, but unlike the other KEF LS50 Meta, they are NOT COMPUTER SPEAKERS AT ALL, they don't have their own internal amplifier. they need an audio amplifier to work!? and they are not even specified as computer speakers but as bookshelf hifi stereo speakers!?
I am disappointed that these reviews put sound quality behind feature set in deciding whether to recommend a speaker or not. If the speakers don't sound right and yet you spent the money to buy them, you will have to live with that decision, I guess.
Your criteria for determining what to get is far from consistent. Sound quality seems to matter little and price matters until you get to the KEFs. I didn't hear mention of the $1500.00 USD at Amazon link provided for computer speakers for gaming. Just writing that sounds ridiculous!
Do you seriously want a dedicated app for controlling the speakers connected to your PC? Why does everything need to have an app nowadays to be considered complete?
Best computer speakers are not computer speakers, but real hi-fi bookshelf speakers driven by an AV receiver. Sure more costly, but the ultimate in quality of sound you can get out of your PC.
SteelSeries Arena 9: Don't waste your money. I wouldn't pay more than $130 for them. I wanted to replace my Logitech Z906 just for something new. Nothing wrong with them. If I were you, I would go with the Logitech Z906.
Why on earth would anyone spend $550 on gaming speakers when you could just use your TV speakers instead? Seems like throwing money away for the same experience really...
It's really not. You're objectively wrong. You don't need these speakers, though. You want a low entree to decent computer audio, buy the klipsch 2.1 system. I got it for 100 bucks before building my own speakers.
I swap edifier g2000 for pebble X with subwoofer and sound much beterr with subwoofer. g2000 always play shity sound when you turn on them and you can't change that.
You really gonna spend $550 just to hear footsteps in games? That's ridiculous! Just get any cheap headphones for the same thing. Some people just never learn!
I tried the arena 5 2.1 system and boxed it up and returned it after a day , garbage sound system and I bet this is just as garbage. Dont waste your money on this
I can't believe people actually need fancy speakers for their computers. isn't that what headphones are for? People just love wasting money on unnecessary gadgets.
Computers aren't just for doing spreadsheets and writing college dissertations. But really, even for that, you deserve good audio, dont skimp on it. And no, headphones do not replace speakers.

Were you able to try those speakers before? For speakers ($300) I'd rather have Klipsch, Kanto, or Bose Companion V compared to those gaming brands.
Yeah, most of these guys are just reading reviews written on the website. Klipsch 2.1 is the best bang for buck system around 100-150

Don't ever buy sound system and equipments tagged with "Gaming", pure bullshit, buy on companies with years of experience dedicated to sound

how do you feeel about edifier qr65?

How about for a more appropriate KEF LSXII LT ? , KEF LS 50 META are not for desktop use with a computer because they need an amplifier ....
Do you seriously want a dedicated app for controlling the speakers connected to your PC? Why does everything need to have an app nowadays to be considered complete?

How can Logitech G560 get so loud without breaking? What’s the point if you can’t party at 100% volume?
The Logitech G560's light show seems more like a gimmick to distract from mediocre sound quality. Are we buying speakers for sound or colors?
SteelSeries Arena 9: Don't waste your money. I wouldn't pay more than $130 for them. I wanted to replace my Logitech Z906 just for something new. Nothing wrong with them. If I were you, I would go with the Logitech Z906.
I see 6% complain in Amazon for z906 how long you are use them?
@@husseinabdulla I have had them for 5 years use them everyday gaming, music and movies sound is great.

HuH, didn’t know Metamaterial Absorption Technology could make my speakers fly - honestly sounds like snake oil to me.
I swap edifier g2000 for pebble X with subwoofer and sound much beterr with subwoofer. g2000 always play shity sound when you turn on them and you can't change that.
Razer Nommo Chroma is a complete joke. No Bluetooth? Did they forget which decade we're in? These are practically fossils.
Yeah, considering Bluetooth chipsets are dirt cheap
You really gonna spend $550 just to hear footsteps in games? That's ridiculous! Just get any cheap headphones for the same thing. Some people just never learn!
Creative T100 sounds sketchy. Anyone else experience that weird white noise?
Wait, are we seriously still bothering with RGB on speakers? Geek culture gone too far 😆
ruark audio lovers, y'all just throwing money for fancy wood? what's the big deal with bluetooth dropping like it can't hold a note?
AudioEngine A2+ for audiophiles? ha, might as well use tin cans and string for better sound. speak to me if you want to hear real audio!
As long as the speakers is made in china, there is no way it is good.
I tried the arena 5 2.1 system and boxed it up and returned it after a day , garbage sound system and I bet this is just as garbage.
Dont waste your money on this
don't know why anyone wouldn't just use headphones over these overpriced paperweights. Speakers are so last decade and just take up space!
Kef LS50 Meta? If you're spending that much on computer speakers, you probably also believe in unicorns 🦄✨
That funny $999 on sale.
kef ls50 Meta THEY ARE NOT COMPUTER SPEAKERS AT ALL. they need an audio amplifier to work.
How can any speaker be worth $300? Isn't that more than most people spend on computers?
Bluetooth is trash, change my mind.
How can people even consider buying speakers without Bluetooth? I mean, do y’all still live in the Stone Age or something?
Stick to Macbooks. No upgrades needed. Perfect sound.
Creative Pebble Pro, more like Creative Pebble Amateur. Anyone buying these has clearly never heard of Dolby Digital!
just use headphones. problem solved!
Why are you here 😂
subwoofers are unnecessary. bass is overrated.
