tahnk you for encouraging people to use a pen tablet for notetaking. i bought mine years ago to draw, now i'm using it to take notes. everyone is obsessed with the ipad, its so expensive and you can do the same with a drawing tablet. thank you.

I have ordered the xp-pen deco01 v2 which has a surface area of 10*6.25 inch. I was worried that I will not manage to write nots like this but after this video I don't think I have any doubts left

Hey I’m considering buying that for uni next academic year how did u find it ? I’m going to be using it with my MacBook Air (2022) is it alright and reviews on it ? I hope to use it with good notes .
@@rachelle9518 hello Rachelle ! i have used it and it's alright, but right now i am using
huion h1161 it's got larger area and better has way better pressure sensitivity than x-pen but it doesn't has that rough texture like x-pen deco and you also don't get any fancy hand cover but it's nice for digital painting x-pen also works but i choose it because of the pressure sensitivity. now it's on you, if you are going to use it for only note talking you will be alright but digital painting might be a little problem if you want to have a backup for digital painting and you're ok with writing on some a4 paper i recommend h1161 but if your main goal is note talking then go with x-pen 👍👍
Extra tip: the h1161 has a smooth surface and you'll have problem using it for note taking so, i use it with some A4 paper on it in this way tablet doesn't get damaged and i also get the texture i need 😊

Hi, since the working area is quite small. Do you feel any discomfort while writing on the tablet?? I'm a teacher, so it's quite important to me. Thank you
i think it’s more on personal preference. for me i don’t feel uncomfortable and it’s the right size for me. i love also the wireless connectivity so it was an advantage. in person it’s not really small. in drawing digitally i prefer smaller drawing tablets based on my experiences. but in handwriting notes, this one i prefer.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. Graphics tablet is functional to use, but if you have enough budget, just go for an iPad. 😊

hiii, sorry for a little late response hehe. i think ipad 9th gen is a good investment hehe. the price difference between an iPad and a pen tablet is huge so their functions are incomparable. iPad offers more than a pen tablet. however if you’re saving and just want to do digital stuff in a budget friendly manner, a pen tablet will do:)
i have an iPad(6th gen), and if im gonna compare my experience with it comparing to a pen tablet, i would say that an iPad is better in terms of portability and accessibility cause it’s an independent device. pen tablet needs a laptop or android device to work. but both of them are good enough for digital writing. hope this helps:>

Can you scroll without touching the mouse/touchpad??? Does it also have zoom in and zoom out for note taking?
Yes you can scroll but like hovering the arrow to the scroll button of the screen. So i still recommend using a mouse when scrolling. Yes, you can assign the shortcut keys of the pen tab to zoom in/out.

hello, so far the wireless is really good and i haven't found any lags or problems. the wireless feature is more comfortbale for me especially when i don't want more cables or cords in my working space.
obviously the wired one is worth the money .

I saw that when you were note taking you were using your mouse to scroll does the tablet have not buttons that can be customised to do the scrolling and zooming in if need be ?
hello, the buttons can be customized for scrolling😊 but in this video i wasn’t able to change it since i assigned the buttons for commands in drawing in a specific app.

I bought new Deco Mini 7 but I can notice pen rattling sound. It makes clicking sound when I lift the pen off the surface. Is this regular sound or something wrong with my pen?
yes that’s pretty normal. but incase it bothers you, you can replace the pen tip and observe if it does gives the same clicking sound

hello sir, yes, this is a good investment for studies and anything related to digital note taking. i recommend this one. im still using this pen tablet from time to time.

@@manishamalakar9980 deco 1 v2 is bigger so maybe it can give you a large working area than the deco mini. but either from the two, they can help you doing digital notes:)

yes, i’m using it often in annotating files from lectures so that i will not switch to my phone or tab. it’s convenient to have all work done in one place, so prefer on laptop most of the times. pen tablet is really a help especially highlighting a lot or words on files. and doing some sketches also:)

I had the wacom intuos before, both of them are good in terms of performance 😊. Their main difference ig is their price, wacom costs more than xppen.

What is the point of carrying around different devices when you can just type notes on your laptop ? Can someone help me understand the benefit
it’s not necessary but for some notes that needed to be drawn it may be a help to use drawing tablet. don’t be rude here.

@@dollyrevenge98 okay, sorry my bad, i took it as an insult. but with regards to your concern, having a drawing tablet gives you the chance to handwritten notes digitally which is beneficial in registering information into our brain same as with traditional notetaking with paper and pen. alongside, you can save paper if you want to be paperless. this is helpful in subjects like art, or math like writing equations or doing some graphs. also in annotations with pdf files, it can make the work easier too. hope this helps😊 sorry for misunderstanding your comment✨
@@dollyrevenge98 pen tablet is there to write notes instead of typing, imagine you are a student and should take down notes a lot, like a medical student then you may need to write in a laptop using pen tablet and read it instead of carrying around many books and writing is kinda easier and more fliexible than typing right.

yes, i made a short animation in krita using this pen tablet. this is very affordable compared to other graphic tablets but offers good functionality:)

But how can we watch this and learn about taking notes using this tablet and pen? The writing isn't in real time, and that's most likely because it's much more difficult to take notes on tablets designed for drawing. Which is why the drawing part *was* in real time. I think videos that present handwriting notes with drawing tablets as a comparable alternative to iPad or MS Surface Pro are misleading. It's possible to take notes with a drawing tablet, but it's not easy or enjoyable. University has enough pressures already without the note-taking device to add to them.
