Torque values on a rifle barrel don't really matter anyway. Some target shooters prefer hand-tight so they can easily swap barrels. Some factory guns are torqued to 150+ ft lbs. Make it as tight as you want, use whatever lube you want, and go shooting.
This looks like the contract barrel overrun sale blanks we had. The ones which we said specifically were leftover from a contract and were not our blanks and they were unlapped button barrels.
I print screened all of the pages when I was ordering those barrels. Nowhere was it mentioned that these were not lapped. Furthermore, if you look at all the videos I posted ,even if they were not lapped it’s no excuse for the wrong speed / feed or using a dull reamer. It is clear these were done improperly.
as soon as you touched the anti-seize I knew it was over. That stuff goes everywhere.
Yup, as usual, all the "experts" got to chime in.
No need for go / no go gauges?
👍👍
What is that platform that your SAC barrel vise is mounted on?
It is a trick-tools.com stand
Medium Palma contour?
Yes. I also found that after about 300 rounds it actually shoots pretty decent but not outstanding compared to my other 7 mm Creedmoor.
Since you added a lubricant your torque is no longer 90 but is reduced to 70% of that or 63 ftlbs
Highly dependent on the type of anti seize. Additionally, that is why I twerk 10 more pounds than what is required.
