Let’s just put it this way, if I ever build another house, I will have to rewatch all of your episodes to see how I want to do it differently than I did last time😂😂😂😂
Hi there Tom. It’s been a while buddy. Glad you’re still moving along with your project. Keep moving and hopefully you get done close to the scheduled time. Be safe and take care.
Hey buddy, long time no talk yeah, I’ve been super busy in the drywall muddy phase. We’ll see my deadline is March 31 cause I already sold my old house so I got some time but might still get in by the first of the year heading over your channel now see what’s going on 👍
Good Morning Sir, Your house is like a Cathedral with all these very Nice Windows 👌🧐👍 Yes Bathroom noise drive me nuts 🤣👍👍Allo Max 🖐🖐😇Be Well Sir Cheers 😇👍🍻
Lots of extra cost for all the insulation on the interior walls. But that’s the nice thing about building your own place, you can do what you want. I’d do the same if it was me for sure Tom. Great tip on taping off the windows. They are really hard to clean later. Thanks for sharing and have a great ,safe, weekend.
You guys did a good job taping those windows. This is also beneficial if you want to spay your paint on. In Canada, we have to install a Vapor barrier over insulation. Trust me when I say that a harness is more good than bad. I worked on the railway for 40 years and saw a few guys get saved by that harness. Have a great weekend bro.
Yeah, I’m pleased with how the tape turned out and we are undecided if I’m going to spray or not, I have a commercial sprayer. I know they can also be messy if you’re not good at it.🤣. And for the harness, it would be a sad story if there was a tragic accident in my own house. I don’t think my family would enjoy hanging out in there too much. 😬
The order I get the more I hate it being up high for sure but feel a little better with a harness at least I’m just hang there for a little bit till someone got me 🤣
That’s up there a ways. I’m not a fan of heights either. Good idea to cover them up. You’d spend more time cleaning up than covering them. Me and plastic don’t get along either. I can’t even use Saran plastic wrap to cover something. 🤭🤭 Have a great weekend. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Hey Tom. As much as a pain in the butt this is it's well worth the effort. I wouldn't want to be watering down my windows to get that mud off, plus the grit could scratch the black finish.
Seems like the prep work is almost harder than the actual work. Always nice to get the hard stuff done first. Scaffolding makes things easier but everything is harder at height

You’re pretty good yourself, my friend. I’ve definitely taken a few pointers from some of your videos for sure 👍

Thank you, sir. Yes for sure. It’s well worth the extra time and money doing interior walls on new construction Max says hello 👋🏼

I dont like heights either. So much so, that i couldn't dream of doing those top windows. 😮 Gotta love that frog tape. Well worth the extra $ 👍🏻

@fatefarmspa haha. Yep. The older I get, the worse my balance is for some reason. 🤷😁
Hello good friend, your video is very good, you are very talented❤❤🔔🔔🔔

Haha. Yeah, using the plastic is a little tricky. Katia had it down Pat for sure. Have a good weekend, buddy.
👋👋👍🏻👍🏻

Yeah, for sure that kept running through my mind whether to do it or not just cause I’m so overwhelmed, but I’m glad we did 👍

Yes, for sure a lot of time invested in keeping the windows clean but it’s already paying off how much drywall mud is everywhere 🤣
