Hey mat I have fine hair and I ve been searching for some high hold products for an kind of messy matt slick back hairstyle. Which hair product would you recommend to me?
I mean there are a ton of great options. This stuff, Oasis, Stickmore clay fiber and styling cream, Doctor Squirrel Sea Monster matte paste, Clutch XL, the list goes on lol

I've been working with this stuff for over a month. 10/10 for smell, but 1/10 for usability. Wet or dry hair, this stuff is a disaster. It turns into pine tar about 2 second after hitting your hands. I've really tried to like it because it smells incredible. But it's utterly unusable.

Great review, Matt! I’ve had the clay for several months and was a tester for the Paste (yup, I’m being that guy). They are completely different products. The paste had that spongey appearance and consistency which resets in full emulsification. I agree with every point you made here 👏👏👏
His clay though is on par with the best of them. It’s thick and gritty AF. The volume and texture is dope too. I’m excited to see what you think about it. It’s pretty much my go to right now. Definitely Daily Driver material. And yes, I own Oasis too.
Adam Wilson would you recommend the clay for a messy slicked back undercut look? And how matte is it?

Michael Rodriguez I think it definitely leans towards the textured look. My friend uses it on his messy texture cut and it looks amazing.

What's your go to shampoo and conditioner? Your hair always has this perfect shine and I'm jealous. Or if by any chance you have any good recommendations for fine dry hair please let me know, I'm trying to avoid all the ones that contain sulfates and such because I know that could be no good especially for my really dry hair.
Two of my go-tos at the moment are the Pure set from TheSalonGuy and The Kure set from Amika! Both are excellent and very hydrating.

Nah. Maybe someday if my channel gets big enough to warrant it, but it's verrrry expensive and at this point I don't really feel like it's feasible for me.
