@@EODFish I've been looking at getting one, I like the features, but I haven't seen a review for one and haven't been able to get my hands on one to try it out before I spend the money.
@@cxsey8587 Yeah, it offers more soft armor coverage so you're more protected from shrapnel. There are superior commercially available alternatives with good soft armor coverage but they're far more expensive. I picked up a Gen IV IOTV a few months ago and I'm pretty happy with it.
Laser drops weight and also keeps the carrier more minimal in look and bulk feel. That being said we have a Chaos MVP as well which is same but with traditional MOLLE
Agreed. I’m not sure what drove that comment. If it’s choosing BALCS in the first place that is a threat assessment and doesn’t negate the carrier’s benefits.
@@MidwestArmor everytime I post something with additional coverage, the boys with pure plate carrier experience chime in like it is a same/same decision.
@@EODFishIt shows how the PC fits a person, it’s the same concept as when you go on a website to order a shirt and there’s a photo of a model wearing it so you can have a idea of how it fits. Im sure people also want to know how you think it fits, if it fits tight, loose, awkward, small or big for example.
2:08 FG is Full Grid and that is the only difference basically a full laser grid or the support for the front panel cards :)
We have the same setup in MOLLE as well
@Stryker1489 If you have any questions let us know!
Thanks for the in depth video!
Will you ever review the Gen IV IOTV?
I guess I could but why?

@@personalaccount8914is there a reason for the iotv vs a more modern PC?

Wasn’t the idea… behind laser cut, to save weight and especially overall material^^
Which piece is that jab directed at?

@@EODFish Agree, same as if you only want pure plate carrier, this isn't the best option for that

Not hating, i appreciate the information, but is there a reason you don't wear the thing when reviewing it?
Makes it hard to show the details efficiently. Also, what value would it add in your mind?

Slightly agree, would be nice to see it on person even if only for a few seconds
I have since worked this in during the intro usually
I'll take it from ya if you don't want it 😭😭!
I dont like the way he criticizes everything. Not a Fan
@cliffords2315 I do it from a position of love and honesty. I’m under no impression I could design something that would pass scrutiny any better.
send it to me
FG stands for Fake and Gae, I'm pretty sure.
You could just send me one of them instead of sending them back I’m a broke feller
