Also, the ironic part is that there was a live duel against Kaiba and Yugi/Pharoah, done by their VA at the 2016 World Championship, where Kaiba used Synchro summoning to bring those two Synchro monsters he used in this video while Yugi used Xyz Summon Ebon High Magician. Albeit, the duel wasn't canon but was interesting none the less.

So great to finally see the full version of this! The use of the new supports was extremely clever, and seeing the models for all of them was awesome-- the actual card plays here are definitely the highlight, well-written duels in something like this are hard to come by. They're very well written and the VAs are ever more on point. The dialogue is great, though if I have to give some kind of constructive criticism, it's a little stilted in some places. That's improving every time you put one of these out, though! I do like that they say "End this duel" every single turn, just like the original show, despite that being absolutely nowhere in sight. Really captures the nostalgic vibe. Ah, memories. Excited for part 3!

I only just learn this video was a thing and watched part one and this, will say you seem to be GREAT at scripting a duel, I tried to check EVERY detail I can about what cards they have in their hands and played. Interesting you made Kaiba's cards digital and put the cards passcodes on the top of the card, which is a extra detail I like. I see what Yugi draws and already know his first action for his next turn, but the duel's fate is still FAR in the air I can't predict. Wow thanks for the really kind comment! I spend about a week making sure the duel has good flow, the plays are all legal and no misplays happen so I'm play it paid off!
I believe the card that he will draw is curse of dragonfire and protect him and in his next turn he will Summon gaia the magical warrior then use his effect to special summon dragonfire from the grave and then he fusion summon.
I didn't know that Maiden With Eyes of Blue was barefoot. Granted, I've seen a few fan arts where she was, but most that don't just copy her card art, where you can't see her feet, depict her in boots or the shoes Kisara wore. This duel is insane with their strategies and counters. Keep it up.
@@crispy_synchron Its because she is really beautiful and I would rather stare at her the whole time she is on screen. The plays to bring Magician of Chaos to 7500 ATK were awesome. Atem mentioned that there were 2 Neo Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragons in the graveyard, so Kaiba jumped the gun and dumped both of them when he tried to attack. With 3 in the graveyard, he can negate a targeting effect up to three times. It was awesome seeing the original Gold Sarcophagus, but it also would have been cool if Atem had used Ledger of Legerdemain like in that one live action duel. I just think it is a cool name and effect.
@@ron2millionare972 yeah I bent the timing rules a bit here. But it would have still been optimal for Kaiba to attack Atem 2 more times to get the other neo blue eyes on the grave for protection. But having him do that would have slowed down the video quite a bit. So I just had him word it a bit differently. So the resulting board state is the same as if he has done it properly.
Thanks so much! This video has so far been doing really well! After this duel wraps up, I'll be going another original character duel. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to use 2d images for monsters as modern cards don't have 3d models. But I'll try to make them look cool with effects and things!
Thanks for the comment! The effect you're referring to can only trigger when the opponent targets a Spellcaster you control. In this case, the Pharaoh was targeting his own card, and thus Mana can't use her effect

Dude. That cliffhanger was so good. Obviously Atem drew a monster or else there wouldn't be a part 3 but the overwhelming odds stacked up is insane! Again, another great display of understanding how these characters would craft a deck in a more modern era. Bravo. Part 3 is going to be amazing!
