If Cole was never made up for the movie and they gave us THE CAGE, it would have been perfect.
Nah, the entire movie needed redone. Cole wasnt the only issue
In my opinion they made Liu Kang and Kung Lao more like secondary characters to get the spotlight to Cole.
I wanted a good MK movie so bad
Liu Kang and Kung Lao being sidelined is as insulting as when Ryu and Ken were made side characters nearly 30 years before the last MK movie came out. Except now, the Ryu and Ken thing seems excusable compared to Liu Kang and Kung Lao pushed aside. This would be like rebooting Star Wars, and having Luke Skywalker be a supporting character, as well as having Leia Organa be a truther on the Force, and Han Solo being teased for the end. What made the studio want to offend fans this much?

If they didn't create cole nothing would have been new. I like him

It’s remarkable how this video basically says precisely nothing, yet promotes itself. Basically ‘how will it be better? We don’t know, but here’s some pretty basic guesses’

Out of literally hundreds of characters to choose from why did they decide to make up a character ? ( Cole ) They should have just pretended one of the actual characters is experiencing the MK world for the first time , there’s our in as an audience to learn also

Other than Kano this movie was very mid. The fight choreography should have been much better. Imagine combining the raid's fight choreography in an MK movie! This should be the standard for MK period! I also think that Cole young was absolute trash.🙄

If filming just wrapped then unless they need to do any principle reshoots the movie will hit theaters in about 6 months. So around October 2024

I think Cole Young will be like the next Scorpion and will get killed, but have a nether realm journey and return to earth realm with scorpions abilities like the snake out of the hand. It would be cooler to have a scorpion as the main character than Johnny Cage 🤷♂️

Having Scorpion be the greatest warrior in history instead of the Great Kung Lao is a serious overreaction to how Scorpion and Sub-Zero were portrayed in the 90s movies. Too bad the same thing happened to Mileena, Kabal, Reiko, Nitara, and... Goro?!?
I think what the writers intend to do is to 'ALWAYS' go with what they want, instead of what the fans want, they could've simply just take the story within the vast story of the game itself, furthermore they jz take minor details and shove it to please the fans for an easter egg or something..
