Thanks Rado - I was just on the phone the other day with SC about installing one in my newly modified TM Racing EN300ES - I was just gonna do a STIC Metering Bloc with the STIC JD Jetting kit and my 38mm Keihin carb, however, the TM Racing USA team told me that a few of their racers were utilizing this and liked it alot! :)
This bike gets used in the North Cascade Mountains in Washington state 2 hours South of BC Canada, and I use it at the MX track for lessons with my AMA Pro & USMCA licensed riding coach - so it is really a Cross-Country bike when utilizing it. Just picked up a 2022 Honda CRF450R-S (2020 Twin pipe w/ traction control) and that bike is so much fun too - but admittedly, I'm an ex heavyweight fighter and deep sea diver so bigger bikes just feel better to me (and I worked my way up since 2015 with a 250cc 4t and 150cc 2t before moving to the 300cc 2t/450cc 4t combo).
Thanks for all of your entertaining and educational content, Rado. May God bless you and your family more than ever this year! Have a great day!
right on Jonathon! how do you like it so far! happy new year to you and yours!
@@dirtniron It's not here yet, but had to talk to them about all the engine mods for the TM, and for fitment because of my Moto Tassanari V Force Reed and Italian made billet aluminum reed extender. I'll let you know after installation though - especially with the new maps in the emoticom (could be saying it wrong) ignition system, VHM cylinder head with MX 28ml insert, and changed out the stock HGS exhaust system for one from Pro Circuit, and cylinder heads come hand ported/polished from factory...that's why it runs better on race fuel in stock configuration. Thanks for best wishes for my family, Rado. You are welcome to try my TM 300 later, although suspension will probably be too stiff, but maybe not cause it is getting Ohlins from Coppersmith this Spring. May God continue to bless you, your family, work, and channel. Talk to you soon.
Put one on my 2022 YZ250X and couldn’t be happier!! It straight rips!! No jetting and way better fuel economy
That's great! I have 22 125x, did you keep stock reeds? Thx
@@stephenflynn4803 I put VForce 3 reeds on 👌🏼 low end is incredible but still gets up and rips when you want it to.
Great video, can you video the process you use to tune the carb? That would be very helpful for those that have it. Being able to hear the bike as you tune it would help others like me who sometimes cannot tell the difference between lean and rich. Thanks love all your videos!!
sure Philip, I can do that once I have some time on it. Thanks!
@@dirtniron Don't do it, Rado. It's a trap.
Rado, I think that you will be very satisfied with the smart carb as I've heard a few guys talking about it and everyone seems very pleased with how it meters fuel. About the aches in your body....my grandpa used to give me some old country remedy....not sure exactly what was in it but schnaps for sure! A few shots of his "cure" and you were a new man!! Too many shots and you could feel even worse the next day! Haha! Keep the faith my brother, Tom
hahahah, I heard about that remedy.. my grandpa used it too ;)
Hello, I have Te 300 2017 installed and it works great :) Greetings from Poland
Great to hear! thanks Szymon
Love your content. Looking back now, would you still recommend one of these smart carbs today?
Thanks for the video installation Rado it was very helpful! Thinking of getting one for my Husky. I hope you shake the bug soon so you can get out and ride! cheers JJ
Great vid - so tempted to get one of these or a Lectron.
Feel better! My fiance and I both have Covid. Last night at 8pm my temperature was 102 degrees. Today I am back to normal except for a few sniffles.
Now, she hates me! :)

Love your conent. Looking back, would you still recommend one of these smart carbs today?

Did you do any follow up videos to this SC2 , Rado?
is the sc2 heavier than stock carb? The looks/built of it looks heavy.. ;)
I bought one awhile ago I’m still waiting for it to ship I really hope it’s worth almost 900 bucks I’m kinda nervous but I trust rado for sure
What do you think of it?
@@mobleyMobley it’s awesome I don’t even realize it’s there my bike runs perfectly I just went a few clicks leaner and I’ve never touched it since I would buy it again if I had to do it over that’s my honest opinion I don’t get paid by nor did I get my smartcarb for free lol my bike seriously runs perfect there is absolutely no hesitation anywhere in it you’ll be happy with it for sure
@@robertbaker9329 are you on a 2 stroke?
@@mobleyMobley yeah a 2023 yz250x i seriously don’t think it could run any better it’s perfect you can be hardly moving and crack it wide open and there’s no bog or hesitation it just goes and my spark plug is nice and brown too so I know it’s not too lean i say get one
I want to be a great advocate for this carb but as of yet I'm still not really set on mine. I have it on a 2019 Beta 200RR and still too rich. Take their factory settings with a grain of salt.
PNW Enduro did it on a Sherco 300 and was somewhere between 30-50 clicks leaner from where the factory set it. Their instructions say to go a couple clicks at a time because little adjustments make a big difference but that's a lot of trial and error when it's that far off. I saw a screen shot of the paperwork from SC for a Beta 300RR and all the settings were identical to my 200 with the exception of the metering rod being 5 clicks richer!! For a bike that has an engine that's 50% larger? What am I missing here? I've gone what I thought was too far, even with a big stumble off idle, yet plug is dark brown/ black and oily. My 300 with JD jetting is super crisp and it had a nice amber purple tint to the pipe.
The 200 pipe is factory chrome in appearance. So far the idle is not real consistent either. Does start up real nice at first, but when it falls over or I'm on steep downhills sometimes it stalls or blubbers at low idle.
I went through and put the floats exactly where they needed to be according to manufacturer, as they were slightly rich. Still seems fat on the low end. I ride between 7,000 - 13,000 feet and run a Fatty pipe and RK TECH head. Still haven't found that sweet spot yet......
Good installation video thank you
Glad you liked it
Amazing video.
Hi, my SC2 started to flood this morning. I’ve checked everything according to the manual, and it is as it should be (as far as I can tell).
Do you have any idea why it keeps flooding?
I’ve had it apart and cleaned it several times now
Not sure bro. Get in touch with them, they should be able to help
@@dirtniron I got an answer from them. A lot of questions which I answered back. Hopefully I’ll get something back today.
Nicely done
Thanks!
😎👍

HOW MUCH IS THE PRICE THE CARBUREITOR BY SUZUKI RM 2007 250 CC
We recommend the 38mm size SC2 model SmartCarb with the Standard TPS option for your RM250. You can order online here: smartcarbfuelsystems.com/shop/
How to by this in France please🙏🙏
Currently you can order from SIP Scooter Shop in Germany or HTM Racing in Italy. Stay tuned for major SmartCarb expansion in Europe through 2022!
Do you know if the SC2 is compatible with the boyeson power wing ?
We do not recommend the use of the power wing or any other flow divider with the SmartCarb. It's variable rate venturi shape is specifically designed to focus airflow directly at the metering rod to promote pick-up and atomization. Disrupting that flow only hinders the performance.
@@SmartCarbFuelSystems thanks!

Smartcarb not applicable to four strokes
No they work very well on 4-strokes, but they are currently designed and dimensioned to replace the stock carburetors on 2-strokes. Development for plug and play kits for 4-strokes is happening. We've already released a kit for the KLX140, are nearing completion of our DRZ400 kit, and are currently working on kits for the carbureted 450 mx bikes. More to come.
