This is one of those games that are so complex that only those who have played through it can truly appreciate the degree of diffculty and skill the speedrunner has. Incredible reaction video once again, I missed these after a while!
Pretty much every mission took me an hour or two to complete during the first playthrough, really intricate and well designed, if you are reading this devs, awesome job guys, cant wait for more mission DLCs, even better if Isabelle is usable during those missions, Im addicted to using her soloing missions :)
I finished every mission between 60 and 80 min. Only last one was 130min. Zero triggered alarms and on hard difficulty. I love to take slow stealth approach. I want to do again on Desperado difficulty.

@@El_Bratto I don't think they have the license to do that.. But it would be perfect if they remastered the old Desperados games.. I tried to play them, the first one glitched in tutorial when I tried to replay it ( I finished it when it came ot years ago ) from the start ( watch didn't appear ).. The second one was bleh (3D).. Helldorado was a mix of them both, but it wasn't really up to par with the first one I think.. The engine on Desperados III is perfect for the old games.

True that. It was my go-to solution, considering that a lot of the enemies can be accessed with vines or swimming (and Hector, of course does neither of those) so instead of going the long way around to the long coats, you can just link them to regular guards. Admittedly, first time I just did it to see if the coats will die straight away. But monkey see, monkey do.
Yeah it was my go to aswell. Also, the last mission where he did the double Elite link, I did that with 3 normals(one by one) & 1 Elite in the Casa Devitt mission(just for fun), effectively inching the Elite's life like this dude did, but watching that in a speedrun executed perfectly was mind blowing 😆
This is pretty cool. In one of his videos, the guy commented it takes him like 90 attempts after he perfects the speedrun for each level! That's a lot. Honestly, I am the one who prefers to kill everyone, hahaha. I did the same with Commandos 2, loved seeing the map without red dots.
These are like the only devs who actually aren't dying a bit inside and are even all giddy because this doesn't just seem like a glitchless run but even the mechanics they intended are sometimes used as is
Yeah, body throwing is amazing. Not as powerful as in Shadow Tactics (where it was completely silent and could take out multiple guards in one throw) but still very useful trick.
Absolutely love hearing these developers. Their reaction over the body toss being nerfed from Shadow Tactics is hilarious as well as being impressed by the elite takedown at the end.
I have never wanted to throw my PS4 out of the window this much ever! he spent less than 7 min on the Eagle Falls mission! That took me almost 2 hours! Insane! awesome video! :)
Well, he's playing on PC using mouse and keyboard, it's harder to do everything even relatively fast having direct control over characters using gamepads.
1:08:24 to 1:08:38- This sequence is the most game breaking thing i have seen till now, and this guy had to have run this level like a 100 times just to figure this out.
@@broverhood If u have played the game, then it is not difficult to see that something indeed breathtaking happened here, when the Devs of the game themselves are so surprised for a moment in an hour and 15 minutes long video.

The glitch being if two long coats are connected, shooting one of the long coats makes the other long coat lose 2 bars of health. Normally this is how it should've played out. 1. Isabel connects LC1 2. Mccoy shoots LC1, his health is down to 2 bars. 3. Isabel connects LC2 4. Mccoy shoots LC2, LC2's health is down to 2 bars and LC1's health is down to 1 bar. The connect ability resets whenever it transfers damage so the long coats shouldn't be connected. 5. Isabel kills the now stunned LC2. LC1 is still alive at 1 bar. No damage is transferred since the connection is reset. The reason the first long coat dies is because in step 4 is because of the glitch. An actual advanced technique would be killing both the longcoats by spending only 1 sniper bullet. Yes that's possible. Here's how it can be done. 1. Connect both long coats first. 2. Place Isabella behind one of the long coats. Use showdown mode to queue up a melee kill on that long coat. 3. Have Mccoy queue up a snipe on the same long coat in showdown mode. 4. Execute. The snipe causes double damage to be transfered to the other longcoat and since Isabella now kills the first long coat, the other long coat takes the kill impulse damage before the connect ability is reset.
It's amazing how this guy did stuff that the developers didn't thought about like the simultaneously killed the 2 long coats elites in the final mission.
The videos shown here I had already seen on RUclips, incredible this guy, at times it seems that there were several people playing and not a single one.
Oh man, I dream of this... Such a rich time period... I was so disappointed when they chose wild west, one of the most over-used time period in the video game industry... But that didn't prevent me from buying the game lol. I just hope for more Asian stories. So much to do with Japan or Korean wars alone... :/

Wow a speedrun that actually takes immense skill. Major kudos to the player here. And the developers for making mastering this speedrun a surely tedious endeavor.
Their estimate is right, I needed 30 hours. I think in second playthrough I could easily make it in 25, third 20 and then I wouldn't say "and so on" because my skill level has it's limits.
This kind of speedrun can only be done on PC. Starting multiple actions, shortcut abilities and select your heroes does require a mouse and a keyboard. This is why I think the console versions do need a higher speedrum limit (at least 50% more time). I was able to complete level 2 in 5:25 minutes on XBOX, but only with my fully equiped Elite Controller and all four additional buttons configured for this run. But the last level in 15:00 minutes? No way with a controller. Annoying: If you load a quicksave the time counter is not reset to the time where this save spot has been created. It is just running along the whole session. Only when leaving the mission and loading the save from the main menu the time counter is correct again. But this requires a 2 min loading screen.
Stephan, I noticed the same odd thing about the timer not being at the correct time of the saves. It was annoying as hell. Then I noticed that if I load an older save (i.e. a save from the start of the level) and then load my current save game straight afterwards, it would take the time from the first save I loaded. Makes the time runs easy. You only need to save at the beginning, play through and save right at the end, exit to main menu, load first save and load the last save straight after, finish the level, get the time run badge. They really should change it...

I'm in third chapter on hard difficulty and the enemies there react very quickly and there are eaymore long coats than in this run.. is he playing on easy? But the player here is extremely coordinated- still amazing. The game is fantastic! I love solving the puzzle in who take out and combine the skills of all players! Best game I played for a very very long time!!! Thanks to the Devs for makings this gem!!
How do I go in the red spaces every time I do I don't want the read bead I don't like reading and literary I don't know what that says and I can you do a video on what it says and what to do to get the full game and actually be able to go in the Rick basis without doing that

I don't know what the devs are talking about. Basically 99% of the things they said "people didn't go for it" I went for it. Maybe it's just me. Maybe skipping all difficulty levels all the way to Desperado does that to a man.
There was a tutorial message somewhere in the game about doc McCoy having a golden bullet, the bullet he will keep for an objective if you waste all your ammo on enemies.

Dude, I just started playing, I delay like 2h30 hours in a mission and I'm pretty much thinking this guy is an alien at this point.

Makes the time runs easy. You only need to save at the beginning, play through and save right at the end, exit to main menu, load first save and load the last save straight after, finish the level, get the time run badge.

Yeah, all the characters have 3 health minimum, so it,s normal difficulty. Most characters have 2 HP on hard.

TBH the devs pretty much bought it on themselves since non of the challenges or badges require you to not kill civilians or trigger any alarms.
