Amateur! (7:20) here's a tip, don't keep a piece, take a photo of the keyboard as reference..... And you thought I didn't learn anything in history class 🤣🤣🤣🤣 thank you for the vid and the memories ❤️❤️❤️❤️
2007 windows.
(3:16) 😍😍😍😍
The automatic full metal screw driver you used, do you have a link for EU for it? I'd like to purchase one!
4:21 paic pec pec pec pec. J'ai dit willow! Au secours ! Y a un pec qui me menace, il a un gland dans la main!
Sorry the english, it's a french reference.
I cannot describe the amount of joy I had seeing you put mr and Mrs duck back on the finished produckt.
i like how you said "produckt" its a pun right?
@@jimmy_thy_fish 😐
one is a goose
Warning to self : never read comments before watching the whole video again.
@@marcel9568 👍
Man, i was really worried about the ducks. I'm happy he saved then 🤣🤣
Me to,
What's a double duck keyboard without double ducks?

That was a duck and a goose
Silence, humor, performance. Just perfect. I was getting an anxiety attack with the yellowed key.
I was pretty confused about why the computer was azerty and not qwerty but then I checked the description. He ever took the effort to write it. Most youtubers don't do that. respect 📈📈📈📈
@TysyTube_Restoration_ 🤔🤔🤔
Maybe because hes french?
Vos soucis...
Who else finds these very satisfying and loves the way he doesn’t add any annoying music.
I totally agree!!!
Yep!
Me bro...
Apparently 2 million people! I’m one of them ☝🏼
It's called ASMR.
Tysy isn't satisfied with only showing us restoration videos. He must make everyone of them into an art form. Well done!
can anyone tell the name of silver screw driver he has used ?
And one of the only youtubers, whose requests for subscribers during their videos actually make you want to subscribe. Every time he asks, I'm like "I wish I could sub again!"
I like that you included the original goose and duck stickers!
I miss the sound of these membrane boards. Such an iconic 90s white noise.
Even restoring the stickers. That's dedication!
Edit: My first PC was running MS-DOS 6.1!
I had MS-DOS and windows 3.1 at the same time on my first one but I used dos more especially for doom and wolfenstein 3D on 3 1/2 inch floppy back in 1994.. If I remember right mine was MS-DOS 6.22
And yeah restoring the ducks took this to the next level
Not sure which DOS version I had, but my first PC was around 1986-87. Had good old CGA graphics and a 5 1/4" floppy drive.
@@twan923 wow you got me beat I'm 40 years old that must have been like dos 3. I don't know why but lately I find myself researching things like Microsoft basic and Commodore even though I never used them when I was younger and there's absolutely no utility today. Like watching the 8 bit guy I wanna put a motherboard together myself solder various 1980s chips down.. See if I can build a primitive computer from scratch. IDK if I would go CGA or EGA but five and 1/4 floppy would definitely be a must
Mine was Gem.
@@twan923 Sounds like my first pc, about the same year. Had MS-DOS 3.1 on it. Got Windows in 1992 (Windows 3.1) which you had to run manually after starting the pc via MS-DOS.
You really know how to mess with people who like everything neat! I have to confess I sighed with relief when you also cleaned the "6" key. I had to laugh at myself, it was hilarious, well done! :D And great restoration, as always.
can anyone tell the name of silver screw driver he has used ?
@@thesuperstar4470 why would you want to have one? You gotta be really lazy if you have one of those 😂
@@koen_bakker being lazy is when you don’t do anything at all 🧍♀️ using that would be saving time and the *smarter* solution, Brad.
@@xXScyllaXx ah I see you like that screwdriver too
Same!
As someone who grew up in the 90s and 00s, I really miss that kind of keyboard. It made typing so easy and smoother than some of the flatter keyboards in today's age. Thanks for putting so much effort in cleaning and restoring that keyboard! 😊
There is a whole market for keyboards that are not flat, both Membrane and mechanical. You might want to take 2-5 hours to look around, look at reviews and such, but you can easily get one that should fit your taste, in nearly any price range.
Lenovo sells the blocky style keyboard. I bought one for work and it was worth every penny!
I wasn’t aware the keyboard collected that much dust underneath and yellow plastic could brighten up again to pearly white with hydrogen peroxide! Great job, and as everyone mentioned it was satisfying to watch!
4:59 I love how Tysy cuts out several pieces of the sponge and then says ‘I just need one’ XD.
Such a satisfying sound, I also hope he didn’t throw away the remains- would be kind of a waste
@@xXScyllaXxit seems like it was supposed to be more of a silly eye roll moment rather than that.
Thank you for saving the ducks 🙏🏼 🦆
Standard 8-bit guy retrobrite techniques that are always satisfying to watch
🤔🤔🤔
Always nice to see all the pertinents, bubble wrap popped, ducks back on the keyboard, notes about the layout in the description, just excellent
I always enjoy watching your restorations! This one did not disappoint! I’m glad you saved the ducks and that they made it home (to the keyboard).
C'est dingue de voir à quel point ça jaunit sans qu'on s'en aperçoive. Excellent travail, comme d'habitude :)
I love these restoration videos, this keyboard looks brand new again and you even saved the little stickers of the ducks 🤩
So glad I found this channel. So relaxing . Love the spin he puts on them too. Funny and cute. No annoying music. He is one clever guy. Brilliant.
I laughed out loud on several occasions there. Well done, what a brilliantly put together restoration. Your little spin made it an entirely unique experience despite the fact there are countless similar videos out there.
The stop motion is incredible!!!
@@TysyTube_Restoration_ 🤔🤔🤔
The stop motion ending was awesome. The patience and time taken to make that is amazing.
Speechless to your work and the editing... now I come to know why you take so long to release your videos
I only found your channel recently and I love it. I watched the videos from your first one up to this. Really liked watching how you developed and refined your technique. Not trying to be insulting, but you're a lot better at restoration now than you were back then. My favorites are when you repair electronic items and ones used for food. Hopefully you started using food safe products so maybe you can use them. The most aesthetically pleasing restoration was the butcher knife. Managing to turn that rusty hunk of metal and rotten wood into such a work of art was amazing. Can't wait for the next restoration.
when you think the day cant get any better then you see tysy uploaded a new video
the edits are absolutely perfect. keep up the good work!
gotta love the way he only hints you to subscribe using messages...subscribed bc of that
Never thought restoration could be so tingly for asmr! Glad to have found a new channel I can watch to help me sleep at night. Although it’s a struggle between sleeping or finishing the vid to see the outcome 😂 Great work man!
The before / after is really really impressive 🤩👍
The bubble wrap was so satisfying
I love that you kept the duck and goose, i was prepared to cry if u threw them away
Your videos give me a feeling of nostalgia. Warm childhood memories. Thank you :)
The key removal was so satisfying.

Nice job as always Tysy ! The editing is perfect too ! Nice to see Mr duck and Mr goose back
Você deve ter um grande acervo de equipamentos antigos. Parabéns pela qualidade das restaurações!!!
Love the channel and your sense of humor. Great editing and the sound design is phenomenal. Awesome work!
I was so worried about the '6 key' and then you fixed it 😂 My first computer ran DOS 3.0 and my first copy of Windows was v2.0 (without the optional mouse!). First laptop was a Compaq SLT/286 (known at work as 'the lunchbox') - I'd love to see one of those restored ☺
really impressed with how the keyboard turned out. also glad that you did not forgot de ducks! A L S O my first windows was windows 7 cuz i was introduced to computers fairly late and i am also pretty new to this world
I never cease to be amazed by the work you do :)
This is honestly the first video of yours I'm watching but I saw the giveaway for the screwdriver set and I've wanted screwdrivers for a while.. idk why I'm obsessed with tools and stuff.. that electric screwdriver looks so cool
I loved this so much! I just subscribed after watching 6 or 7 videos on Facebook. I can't resist! So rewarding to see treasure come back to life! Super job!
I followed this channel since its beginnings, and this is the best restoration so far.
can anyone tell the name of silver screw driver he has used ?
Das ist von dir so geil gemacht...und dass du das alles wieder korrekt zusammensetzen kannst...Respekt!
LOLOL! This is one of your best videos yet!!! I got a few good chuckles, and was utterly thrilled to see Mr. and Mrs. Duck back on the finished product!!! Thanks for a great video! 😂♥️
This was a great video, I really enjoyed it. I love that you saved the stickers and put them back on after. Taking away the dirt, not the personality.
Me and my kids have learned so much from watching your channel. Please keep up the good work.
That keyboard sounded so great after he cleaned it.
It does!
I loved how you used a beautiful elephant teapot so beautifully colored and beautiful
Huge fan✨️ Your videos are always so satisfying to watch along with being so calming🥰
I love these videos so much. So satisfying! Very relaxing after a stressful day haha.
And the screwdriver set would come in very handy as I‘m currently moving into a new place and have like absolutely no tools to assemble my new furniture haha.
What’s the liver screw driver name
Has anybody made a Quackard Bell joke yet?
Love the personal decal you threw In the back. Great restore.
I was pissed when you changed the number 6 button, the yellowish one was such a cool feature if you left it, but all in all your videos quality are just crispy clean! Love the content! Keep doing more electronics please!

I hope to see more amazing restoration’s like this in the future!!
Superb great job. Do love all the video extras you put in that must take you a lot of time, especially the stop go animations, and the subtle 'subscribe' messages. Well done.

these are videos of purity and perfection. i see no faults.

Very satisfying to watch. ASMR at its finest.
I was wondering why the keyboard layout wasn't the typical QWERTY layout. I read the description and now I know why. Great job with this one! I'm glad you saved the duck and goose stickers.
The first Windows operating system we had was Windows 3.1. My dad bought his first computer in early 1994 and had 3.1 on there. We had Windows 95, 98, XP (XP being on my first computer in 2003), no Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and I still have Windows 10. My computer can't upgrade to 11 just yet.
He's from France. Frenchs uses AZERTY keyboard

That bubblewrap popping was extremely satisfying

Thanks for the little stop motion at the end! Made me smile 😊
