JustinTheJovial I really enjoyed about 70% of the first season but it got really ridiculous at the end which left a bad taste in my mouth.

What's with throwing apostrophes everywhere?
Ony put an apostrophe on IF: (1) It's a contraction (of a noun+verb) or (2) It is possessive (except in the case of "its" when possessive or whose, because "who's" is the contraction of "who is" or sometimes "who has") or (3) Shortened slang: "Why's he givin' up so quick?"
So for PLURAL nouns, NO apostrophe unless it's also possessive: "The burglars' mistake was leaving their fingerprints."
I know everybody *hates* these grammar comments, but I'm sure after posting a few grammar-spite posts, somebody will actually quit with the absurd apostrophes.
"Know's" is not a word whatsoever. A contraction would be gibberish ("know is" "know has?"), and "know" is never a noun so cannot possess anything. The only possible exception is if "Know" was the name (a proper noun) of a person or thing, like a business, venue, or brand, etc. "Know's Burgers 'n' Shakes" (Indicating that someone with the name or nickname "Know" is the owner or personality behind the business.)
It's just that it's so much more careless than misspelling a word. Spell-check fails us all the time. That's a given. But apostrophes are never at the end of verbs, and there are no exceptions. Give's? No. Talk's? No.
Steve's? Yes. It will mean different things depending on the sentence, but it's always clear.
"Steve's coming over." = "Steve is coming over."
"Steve's bike is busted." "The bike belonging to Steve is busted." (Possessive. Thank goodness. 4 words are way better than 7.)
"It's time to go." = "It is time to go."
"It's been too long." = "It has been too long."
"When the car crashed, its front wheels came off." No apostrophe because the English language needed to make those two words different.
"Who's going to clean this up?" = "Who is going to clean this up?"
"Who's been to Bennigan's before?" = "Who has been to Bennigan's before?"
"Whose shirt is this?" = "Who owns this shirt?"
Since "who's" is already used as a contraction, the English language needed a different word for the third person possessive.
