I had a non-motorized trike making that same noise, but worse. It was driving me nuts! Using your sprocket alignment tip I saw a big improvement. I think it will be perfectly quiet once it's dialed in. Thank you!
i knew it the alignment is the problem, i broke 2 chains already and chain keeps on falling off, i will try your tip and will get back to you. thank you
@@Mity_Moose yes it's very indeed good news, finished aligning it and followed everything in this video and rode it to the high hill and wowoweee it didn''t even fall off the chain tytytyty so much for your wonderful tip have a great day and more power to your channel @;- @;- @;- flowers for you
Good video but your long chain is wayyyyyy too loose. The guys at the shop use a straight edge to make sure the sprockets are parallel. There should only be about 1/2" to 1" play with the long chain.
Yeah correct! The issue is that both chains are on the same axle. And to adjust the axles parallel, I end up with too great a difference. Adjust for the long chain and the short is over tightened. Long chain needs a tension sprocket. Or move front sprocket. If you know how, please advise.
