Making Crazy Trike 250cc
- I used a 250cc engine for buid, the engine has four forward gears and a reverse gear, the wheels are derived from the quad bike, the front is from the motorcycle. I bought all the parts used from auction sites.
I have no experience in building such vehicles, so the work on this trike motorcycle took some time, but the end result is satisfactory, riding this motorized trike is great fun :)
The definition of "Industrial Duty" is: "Workshop From Scratch".
This is the channel to watch for learning the correct way to do the job.
This chassis could easily handle 350cc, 450cc or even more.
I'll give you a perfect 100% score!
When watching someone this good at what he does it is important to take note of the things he does not fabricate from scratch. The lathe work to fabricate the gas cap, for example, exceeded his time value, his time is worth $$$, better to just buy one and bolt it on his beautiful tank. A quick mod to a generic brake pedal was much easier than building one from scratch. Well done!
P.S. Head tube design and fabrication puts you miles above the rest!
I really appreciate how your videos aren’t an infomercial or you trying to sell stuff. You have really good content and great skills. Thanks.
You Sir, are an excellent fabricator!!! Your gussets are exactly where they need to be! Your material thicknesses are 100% right on!!! Great job!!!
I have spent my entire working life in factories...of all types! From Cushman Motor Scooters to automobile Trucks, and finished my career in Aviation with twin jet aircraft!!! I know something about great mechanical fabrication, and you my friend, could work anywhere, and do top notch work!!! Thanks for letting me see your talents!!!
your skill is amazing!!!the machine you're using as well as the tools are amazing too.thanks for sharing.
Dude, you are an awesome builder. Your grandkids are gonna love you if they can make it back alive from a lap around the farm.
What an artist we have here. Raw to reality.
Bravo my college!
😯 WOW 😳 Nicely done 👍😎 Solid worksmabship, and nice set of metal working tools
Doesn't get much cooler than this... except in a refrigerator. Great work Boss! Real nice!
As goofy as it may sound, your sliding around in circles, reminds me of how I would ride in the Summers rain, on a bicycle I made frome a 27 inch English Racer and a 20 inch knobby tire, off the back of a Mattel Varoom bike !
I would ride as fast as I could, then hit the coaster brake, and while balancing on one leg, turn the handlebars, and spin in circles on the asphalt road !
The profile from your Trike, was much the same as my bicycle !
Boy did I get the look's !
Lol !
Hey....
what can I say ?
Poor people have poor ways !
That was some 56 year's ago !
Thanks for the memories !
And congrats on a beautiful scooter !
✌️😉
Amazing job!! Only thing I would like different is a slightly wider wheelbase in the back and everything a little bit lower to the ground especially the seat you know like an adult big wheel that we all used to have as a child. Love your work dude!
They make those. They're called drift cycles. Some are motorized, some electric and some have tricycle cranks on the front wheel.
that would be nice for a rear engine set up
I watched the whole thing without sound so not to disturb anyone, absolutely brilliant, great skill to possess.....!
The best weld-build that I have ever watched. GREAT!
All this time I was wondering if you will split the axle, but apparently it is even more fun this way.
Great handy work.
I am more of a "Reverse Trike" kinda guy (mainly for the better/safer handling) but watching you ride your creation proves that the standard config works fine ! . . . CHEERS ! on a very fine design/build and of course ; great editing always makes for a fun watch !
I used to work in a small fabrication shop as a laser operator. You have great skill and attention to detail. I am glad that your project turned out. You also done a nice job on the video.
Oke banget 👍👍👍
Thats an actual legit clean build. Well done.
*I bought this trike so I could play outside with my 3 children. Tricycle **Latest.Bike** is well built and fun to ride. Great purchase overall!*
Awesome build.. love the color choice. 👍🏽👍🏽
Awesome to watch you work. Only thing I would have done different is mount a spring under the seat to rest on in the back. A hinge for the front part and shock in the back to make the ride smoother.

Heros! Seriously! This makes me want to listen to metal music and rip threw some metal! Amazing how fast metal workers can come back to life! Best wishes that's alot of hard work!
Great build with skill . A unique trike in any country. In the test ride with the helmet mounted camera you could pass for a space invader on an orange trike. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Connecticut USA
Super pojazd dla młodszych i starszych!

You have done an awesome job on this trike! (and I've been involved in metal-fab all my life)
It is such a pleasure to watch a true Master work! ------ Talk about a hard tail! Rough Rider!
He's like a magician, from a scrap to a beautiful trike. Good video. Congratulations on this project.👍
That positioning of the brake caliper will make it difficult to bleed.
You could stick it on the opposite side closer to the engine or you could also crack the banjo bolt to bleed it.
It’s not how it’s supposed to be done but bleeding it out the banjo bolt will be easier.

what an amazing job, I'm interested in trying it, your work is inspiring and useful
Looks very cool 😎.
Definitely strong enough. I think with different tires and wheels, it would handle a small block V8.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Best regards.
That was brilliant and the cherry on top was the electric start after completion stroke of Genius👋Cheers PTT

Super cool😀
really fantastic I love the way he built it and it seems to be very strong...good luck chum
Very cool ride for sure, great workmanship and design. Loved watching you drift it around the yard. You could put a set of slick’s on in the summertime and have a blast on the blacktop. Thanks for sharing Sir‼️👍👍👀👀❤️❤️👏👏🤣🤣
Nice camera work! I've watched this the 4th time, and I wish you make the electric version of it.
My friend you have created a masterpiece , it's one a kind in a classroom by its self . It looks magnificent I love it . I think you should be selling trikes for a living , I'd be your first customer 😊 . Keep up the great work 💯💪👋👍

Brilliant and meticulous workmanship, where welding with one hand or the other hand used when required.
Congratulation.
What an Awesome project that was to watch excellent work mate 👍
Absolutely beautiful build! Awesome talent 👍
The vehicle that was built under your design is amazing. 👍🏼
This guy is a genius it turned out sensational
Looks like a blast, I bet you wish you had shocks on it though. 😆
It's so satisfying to watch this building these super cool creations , a real high skilled and top notch pro ! With some big wide a$$ wheel guards in back i think it'd get even more sick 👌
I loved it 👌👌👌
You're talented and did your work professionally. Keep it always improvement. Good luck forever.
What a build. Too cool. Nice work.
Great build! You make it look easy!
Hey man it was great. Only one about the rear differential that it does not have when cornering on non-slip surfaces and the other about safety.

Very interesting video. Very nice bike , built with good machineries & tools, thanks for sharing your bright skills & ideas more power to you Sir !!
You are an artist with steel and the welder.....good upload.
That is a very cool project right there and it includes a lot of fun in the dirt. Great project. 👍👍👍🏆🏆🏆👍👍👍

how about your shock absorber Sir? did you not feel the vibration?
that's some seriously good engineering well done that looks awesome
Congratulations to both of you that's awesome thanks for sharing that moment with us all 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That brake pedal 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Monstrous!
You could do a pivot lever style like a Harley and it will be more ergonomic to press.
This brake pedal comes from the quad, I even shortened it because it was longer, but the brake pump has a very small stroke, so despite the long brake pedal, it brakes very well 😁
@@WorkshopFromScratch
My wife says I’ve got a very
Short stroke too 😅
You need to sell plans, I'd buy them if ya did!@@WorkshopFromScratch
So cool, awesome build, thanks for putting this out there mate 🙂💯
i'm always jealous of people who have this much fun stuff in their garage.. i would never come inside! Cool project!
of all the tools you have, you don't have a castle-nut tool!!
awesome, awesome bit of kit, that looks soooo much fun to ride. congrats my guy. thanks for sharing.

Fantastic engineering work keep it up.
I want to ask "did you have as much fun and enjoyment building it as we have watching you do it?? Great Work!!
This build was a lot of fun to watch you have mad skills for days my friend that turned out pretty badass 💯💪🏼💪🏼❤️😎👊🏼💨💨💥🤟🏽🤟🏽
you are clearly an expert , you realy know what you are doing .
All you need now is a small TURBO and you’ll set my friend. Nice job well done. 👍🏻
@@wilairatmuaypimai6414 what did I do I did say small turbo not a turbo with a 150 shot of NOS to spool her up 😜 hmmmm that does sound like fun and broken bones🤙🏻 but if you going to do it do it RITE.

i built one back in 1991 . mine was a honda 25or trike that i built a 72 h2 750 triple and shoehorned in its frame . extended the swing arm 18 inches and put skat trac v paddles on it for hill climbs . i put hoosiers on the back and street drag race it . i raced it for 8 years and won tons of money with it . kids came along and had to sell it . a group of friends went to the hill climbs last month and my beast was there still winning !
Awesome build ! 👍
Uma verdadeira obra de arte.
Um abraço aqui de Maracanau ce. Brasil 🇧🇷
You should definitely start up a company that makes and sells these trikes, I would buy that in a heart beat 👏👏👏
No one would pay what it really costs. Everyone wants cheap Chinese stuff
Brother, that’s one badass scooter you built. Makes me want to build one myself, only I’d put a Harley v-twin on it for the power plant. That’ll definitely turn some heads. Bravo brother, bravo. 🍻
That definitely turned out pretty badass !!!
But...what?! I´d never thought to see such a build here. It´s cool, it´s awesome! Great video!
Muito bom o projeto!
Man! How did you learn such a skill!!! Very very very impressive.
Nice job, really enjoy your videos.
One thing i cant seem to understand, why u grind off half of your weld after welding, isnt the structural integrity more important than the visual, or maybe gaping 1 mm each side for the weld to lay more flat?
Do the extra weld add to strength ? Just curious, noob question looking for inputs.
@@Nishandh_Mayiladan well not adding a gap in between the pieces means u are mostly adding the extra material (weld) on top of the pieces and depending of your amperage also depends how deep u penetrate the material, now grinding down most of your weld will reduce the coverage of your connection and in that strenght.
Thats why when ever you do pipe welding you have to make a gap and do first a root weld and then as many passes as nesserary.
Buddy you're proving that those high tech engineers aren't as smart as they think they are you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍.
I’d say this is a fun and simple build but to a race engineer this is all old tech.
Box steel frame, conventional forks, conventional brakes and rotors, single overhead cam 2 valve motor. This is durable and easy to work on not space age leading edge tech.
Performance costs more money and makes the build less fun and achievable for the viewers.
THIS DOESN’T EVEN HAVE REAR SUSPENSION 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@TankToChest its basically the same thing they just design on a screen and built by robots he just designs in his head and welds pieces together. Nothing different just less fancy..
@@fordnut4914
The fact you can’t tell the difference means you don’t know what your looking for.
Besides this is made to be achievable so that others might try instead of dreaming.
@@fordnut4914
Also the reason they designed on a “Screen”
Using industry level software programs such as Solid Works that costs 8 times my monthly rent is so you can run programs to design complex chassis that might handle things such as steering neck wobble which this chassis has lots of, so that you can push the vehicle to go faster and faster yet handle predictably.
