I took this picture in the hardware store of these two metal birds. This was a fun experiment; however, it is not for the faint hearted. I recently bought this bike. The tires wouldn't stay inflated for very long. I rode it for a total of 20 minutes and now one of the tires stays flat. I haven't had it for even a week. The Schwinn brand name used to mean something. I wouldn't buy this bike.

      Really sorry to hear that. I have 1600 miles on my loop and have never had a flat tire. However, Schwinn has sent me a rear wheel three times because the spokes keep breaking. 5555 would be easier to count if you understand the 29 hand in regular cribbage. We get the 9 extra points from the Jack. 15-2, 15-4, 15-6, 15-8 and Knobs for 9 + 20 points with the four 5's. A much simpler way is to do a double set of four 5's. You know that four 5's = 20. Swap out the other 5 and you get another 20. Bam 20+20=40!

    I bought this bike a few years ago for $250. Now it's $450. I hated the thing. It was very heavy, a pain to fold, and very, very slow. The chainring is small and even in top gear it was as slow as a turtle.

      @Mity_Moose Месяц назад

    • @davidhunternyc1
      @davidhunternyc1 Месяц назад

      @@Mity_Moose Yes, I can see why people would like it if you had a garage and used it to putz around the neighborhood. The fold is good to have for when you need to put it in the car for occasional weekend getaways. But for long rides, more than a couple of miles, no way. Too many other great bikes. People buy the Loop because of the nostalgia of the Schwinn name and because it's cute, which it is. I had one only because my roommate insisted she have one. I can't argue with that! Now, however, for $450, people would be foolish to buy one. There are many superior step-throughs on Craigslist that have just as cute and far faster.

    I was just trying to sharpen my OLD diagonal wire snips and linesman pliers. They are both dull AF. My 250 (allegedly) grit diamond file will take forever on these. I was about to fire up the old Dremmel to get after it. Taking a coffee break and figured I'd pop into YT University to see what other folks are using for this. Excellent point on the Dremmel wheels. As you state, the first two types you showed are for cutting and should not be used with any force on the side of the wheel. As with wheels on a bench or angle grinder, applying pressure to the side can cause them to break and send pieces into places where you don't want them. Also, for the Dremmel, the flexible extension cable/collet is an awesome attachment for doing small work. Mine has a metal loop to hang it over the bench or whatever.

    try cutting it blunt,, no point but bevel the two edges (Like a knife). so you have a wide lead, you wont have to carve it so far down.. then it lasts longer and you get a wide line or a thin line.. does a great job shading.. great for life drawing or large drawings. I attended several art schools in the early 70s and they were mandetory in drawing classees. try it..

    Koh-I-Noor Triograph, Faber Castell 9000 Jumbo, Staedtler Mars Lumograph Jumbo, General's Pencil Co. Kimberly, Caran D'Ache Swiss Wood. These are the most anti-lead-break pencils I've ever tried. For art you can't beat the 9000 and the Lumograph, although both brands make 2 mm leads as well, they just don't feel the same imo. P.S. I meant the 9xxB Kimberly, not all of them.

    • @retardno002
      @retardno002 2 месяца назад

      @@Mity_Moose that's a nice mechanical pencil, Faber Castell has that cool feature where the lead auto-extends when the sleeve is pressed on by the paper, I think this one has it too. Btw, all the ones I mentioned above are wood pencils, trying to sway you back to the wood camp. Maybe I should mention the pleasant wood smell. The champions of mechanical pencils with anti-lead-break features are the Zebra Delguard and Pentel Orenz. As for clutch pencils I see you already found E+M which are my fav for 5.6 mm. For 2 mm the Staedtler Mars Technico seems the most popular choice, but again Faber Castell are keeping them honest with some nice TK9400 versions that even come in 3.2 mm for softer lead grades. Caran D'Ache Fixpencil is the OG design btw, and one of my favorites. You could probably tell from the brand recommendations that I'm from Europe, there are lots of options in the US that I can't easily get, like the 2 mm clutch examples you showed in this video. Hope this helps, and thanks for the video!
