I ride my Midnight Special with a carbon fork (it’s a local bike shop’s custom fork, probably similar to a Whiskey) and ooh I like it. Before I put my rack and fenders and such on the bike it weighed 23lbs, but I actually received it with said fork installed so I can’t compare to the original (one day maybe I’ll reinstall it but it would be just for kicks). Hope you like it! I say mine rides like a dream.

@@carlovillarica got myself a new 700c wheelset, which was way lighter than the stock 650b. But moving to GRX is top on my list.

Where did you get your fork?its hard to find carbon fork with straight steerer.
YKK - I think this fork is tapered though. I think it was compatible with the headset that I got.

When I first got this bike, I weighed it at 13 kilos. Now with all the changes, it's a little less than 12 kilos. Still heavy hahah but I love it.
