That's a dope build! I've always wondered what it would be like to throw a suspension fork on a CX or gravel bike. I'm glad there are options now; it would be difficult otherwise to find a good low travel suspension fork for the conversion.

My hack for wet/rainy rides: waterproof socks with the shoe insole inside, and my shoes are super breathable so they drain water easily. I also wear really thin socks inside the waterproof socks just to absorb the sweat.

You can use you GRX cranks for a 1x setup. It’s the same cranks used in the 1x GRX crankset. Just get a 38t chain ring that matches the bcd.

uh... i bike faster haha but super worst case, I kick the dog, but I've only had to do that twice. Mostly they just chase and bark
Might be a great investment is shoe covers due to weather conditions in PH and it will look sick and make your shoes last

hahah don't discount the drop bars. I really prefer the drop bars over flat bars and I think that difference is worth it for me
