  • He'll forever be most recognizable as the shortest player in NBA History, or as one of the players whose basketball powers were stolen in Space Jam, Starring Michael Jordan. but Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues was more than worthy of occupying an NBA roster like he did for almost a decade and a half. He was a blur with his speed and quickness, and relentless on defense, and regardless of his height, he was one of the best passers of his era as he has one of the highest assist to turnover ratios in history. He began writing his basketball story as the leader of a Dunbar Poets team who have been dubbed "The Best High School Basketball Team Ever" featuring Bogues, Reggie Lewis, Reggie WIlliams and David Wingate. After this, Bogues would go onto a 4 year career as a Wake Forest Demon Deacon, becoming one of the best players in program history and one of the NCAA''s best passers and pickpockets in the mid 80s. He spent a one year with the Washington Bullets before carving out his name among the greatest Charlotte Hornets in History, teaming with guys like Larry Johnson, Kendall Gill, Alonzo Mourning, Dell Curry, Glen Rice, Vlade Divac and Anthony Mason throughout nearly a decade with the team, leading them to multiple playoff appearances as a fan favourite, before ending his career with a Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady led Toronto Raptors team. Muggsy Bogues was a star on the court, even though he couldn''t see over anyone, nad no one wanted to matchup with Muggsy.

    Best shortest player of all time.
    Another great video FPP.
    Also what a trio of Bouges, Larry Johnson, and Alonzo Mourning could have been.

      Always one of my favorite NBA players on and off the court. He has the heart of a Lion. He is nearly a foot shorter than me and is an infinity better basketball player than me and I played all the time til I was 23.

    I just want to say your channel is my absolute favorite. As someone who is in their mid 40s I was a die hard NBA fan growing up. Your channel is by far my favorite NBA channel, I remember ALL of these players growing up and still have all their basketball cards.
    Thank you for creating such amazing content.

    As you all know, I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Male. A STIFF, who didn't have cable TV until college, so my NBA games were limited to Sonics road games, and NBC national games. Is there a Muggsy Bogues DUNK anywhere in this video?

    Muggsy Bogues is determined to be the best basketball player in his era. He was the shortest player of all time. He was very quick with his feet. I mean he was only 5’3” and 145 pound point guard.

  • @Watchingvideoslikeu
    @Watchingvideoslikeu 18 часов назад

    Muggsy was 5’3” and was in the league???? I thought he was maybe 5’9” or something I didn’t even think you could be that short in the NBA.
