Blind bought Fantastic Planet. Loved it! Felt like I had seen it before. It was basically FernGully, but on an alien planet. Where people are what the fairies were in FernGully. Loved that it was in French. I don’t speak French but it added an alien language to it. (Obviously had subtitles on).
@@SirMeowsAlot89 it is definitely a trip of a film. I actually reviewed that film on my podcast Boutique Talk with Films By Color. We had a good discussion on the film.
Everyone says they have a tiny selection at their barns and noble, you should see mine, they ordered like 15-20 titles for the sale and the rest of the year they have like 4-5 titles mixed into the blu rays behind the counter
Crumb definitely intrigues me! I picked up some horror on Criterion: Carnival of Souls, Cat People, and Black Narcissus. I can't wait to get paid again so I can buy some more.
I wouldn’t assume that they don’t have certain 4K just because they aren’t out on the shelf. A lot of the 4K are kept behind the counter due to increasing theft.
I HAVE OVER 3,000 MOVIES on my home media player. Almost all in 4K. (Some you can't find anywhere) I don''t want to dig around for Disks. I can just search on my server and watch it on any T.V., Computer, Tablet or phone. As long as it has an internet connection. I share all my media with my friends and family. I also have over 200 complete T.V. shows. All my favorites. Physical Media is Dead.

Oh, wow! Thanks for reporting on this!
Nice pickups! That Pinocchio 4K release is sweet and learning more about stop motion animation was a treat in going through the supplements. Enjoy!
@@20thand21stMovies I could watch those making of docs on stop motion animation all day. They are so memorizing to me.

If done right, it's the ultimate in quality and convenience. However, support media or media is dead...
Let's hope you don't have multiple hard drive failures for your legally acquired collection.
