The other Veronica Lake film in the Criterion Collection that you’re thinking of is Sullivan’s Travels. It’s definitely a film that you should check out because it’s a classic.
Was a great month. My last Criterion pickup today was a blind buy: Double Indemnity 😊 I also picked up: Miike’s Graveyard of Honor, Bong Joon Ho’s Mother and Peckinpah’s Bring Me The Head of Alfredo Garcia To Live and Die in LA is a great pickup. Moonrise Kingdom as well, and Perfect Days! Still waiting on my order for it
Think it was a good choice on the hair. I really enjoyed To Live and Die in L.A. Was tempted to pick up that Kino release but ended up just sticking with the Blu-Ray. A lot of Criterion titles I'm not familiar with. Will have to try to check out In a Lonely Place, The Roaring Twenties, and Perfect Days. Moonrise Kingdom is good. I think that and Grand Budapest are definitely at the top of my list for favorite Wes Anderson films. I added Mudhound to my to watch list too after Tim's video. I still need to watch Citizen Kane. Risky Business was one I was really tempted to grab or order during the sale. Definitely want to get that one next sale. Great pickups!!
I only grabbed Bound this sale. I may look at Risky Business in November. I have it on Blu-ray, and that is fine for me. By the way, I like your haircut. It looks nice on you.
Risky Business is one of my top 3 movies of all time, so I actually preordered it. It brings me back to my teenage years. The score by Tangerine Dream is so damn good, it makes the movie. When you watch it, think how you would have felt as a teenager in his shoes. I'm curious on your thoughts once you are done with it.
Who cares if people don't like your bald head just as long as you like it. I found a person on Facebook Market Place that was selling alot of VHS and I got a response and will be picking up 8 movies when I get paid
Bald or with hair your good man. You have great content!!! Just keep up the amazing work. I was able to get three from this sale all 4k. The others. Wall e. And pinocchio
Looks Good and as long as you and the wife love it.. Who cares, my brother has your look but he went to the goatee and now he looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin 👍 and very nice pickups 🛻
Omg you look like me now 😄. Might want to make your next destination to big lots. They're closing a huge number of stores. My last store in Ontario California is closing soon so i picked it over a few days ago and you might want to hit them all up and do the same. found 15 titles. Went out with a bang. RIP big lots ⚰️😭
Yes they may not seem like they're closing but that can change at any time. I found that out for myself 2 weeks ago at this store which happens to be the last one standing soon to be no more.
you look fantastic and badass with no hair, just don't try to start a meth lab! seriously takes a lot of cojones to do this, and luckily for you you look great and a heck of a lot better than with hair. Thats not the case for many! anyway as always loved your video
Citizen Kane: “I have the worst packaging in the Criterion Collection.”
Trainspotting: “Hold my beer.”
“If you can’t hold a pint you shouldn’t be in a pub”
A lot of interesting pick ups in this video a lot of them I never seen before there’s only maybe like two or three that I either have or seen .
The new cut looks great man! I Married a Witch is light hearted fun. Definitely going to be an annual late September/early October viewing for me.
I blind brought “I married a Witch” after Sean Baker picked it in his criterion closet video. Great fun film to watch.
Thank you!

I finally snagged In A Lonely Place too this sale. Been hearing great things on Perfect Days. May have to get that obe in the Nov sale. Great pickups!
Thanks, Miranda!
In A Lonely Place is one of the best film noir movies there is.

Oh, Double Indemnity is a classic. Such a great pickup. Thanks, man!
For Citizen Kane I have the Digi book release which comes with an extra movie and way more extras than the criterion. That’s why I went with it.

So how many criterions in your collection now ?
346 movies according to my app...just nuts, lol.
the bald looks so good! you got the beard to pull it off! now yer gonna grow yer beard out a bit and be like "damn... I am a sexy mofo!" lol
Hahaha, thanks so much!
Magazines and comics have gone off the deep end price wise... comics priced me out of collecting new issues all together.

Haha! Wow...no thanks. That's too rich for my blood for a magazine, lol.
