I do not think you realize how truly inspiring this is... I am a 19 year old college student and I have been following you along this journey, I have never wanted to get out and do something more in my entire life. I am so emotional knowing that this is the end of the series, but this has only made me decide that I want to thru-hike the pct, between now and grad school. Thank you for this, thank you for shining a light into peoples hearts and inspiring them to want to do things they never thought they could do. Thank you so, so much.

I sat here for 40 minutes reading comments before starting to watch the final chapter. I had to prepare myself that in 13 minutes and 01 second the journey would be over. I can only imagine how you must have felt on the final days leading up to Canada. I have viewed so many awesome adventures on RUclips, I’ve even created and posted a few of my own. But this series is just a cut above everything!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your journey. I remember when your first video of the series "It is the People" popped up on my RUclips feed, and it changed my life. The way you tell a story and make your audience feel all of the things is so damn amazing. It made me feel all of the emotions you felt throughout your journey in just 16 minutes. It helped me realize I was the only one holding myself back from many things. It helped me break through this barrier in my brain that I didn't even know was holding me back from so much. In just 16 minutes, I felt more emotion than I had in so long. After that, I was determined. Determined to make my life what I wanted. Determined to be a badass in every way possible. Determined to just let go of everything that was holding me back and simply... be. You have touched so many people with your videos more than you realize, including me. Thank you for sharing your journey and unknowingly help me realize "Life is unpredictable. Life is short. Life needs to be worth living."

I've watched your It Is The People video a hundred times because it is so good and now I have watched your chapter series about your through hike a couple of times and I have to say that it is, without a question, THE BEST documentary series about the through hiking experience that I have ever seen!!! I hiked the AT a couple of decades ago and many of the elements in your experience parallel experiences I had on that trail. May you continue having wonderful enriching experiences such as this hike for the rest of your life and please keep sharing through your magical editing skills.

Elina, I've been watching this series for the past couple of days and they are really the most beautiful videos I have ever seen. There's such beauty in the simplicity of them and I can tell you are a wonderful soul full of love and warmth, but also strength and endurance you didn't know you had. You've ignited a spark in me, not only to backpack more and enjoy the beauty of our earth, but also to realize that life is too precious to rush through. We can't just rush through, keep busy, go on to the next thing. Sometimes all we need is to just slow down and appreciate the incredible things we've experienced and the unbreakable bonds we have made.

This is a bitter sweet moment watching your adventure finish. I’ve followed knowing that I was getting a glimpse of my 2020 PCT adventure. Each week my excitement built. Unfortunately today I made the heart breaking realisation that I wouldn’t be doing the PCT in 2020. I put off watching initially because I was too gutted to see what had been taken from me, but I’m glad I did. Although it still hurts knowing I won’t be out there in 10 days like planned, I’m glad to see your adventures climax and am now hardened to make sure I get my turn. We are sooo very grateful for these fabulous 'chapters' - what a gift for all of us that love the suffering and joy of walking day after day. Ngā mihi nui.
Watching these videos help me to escape my boundaries while I’m at work. This series has gotten me back in touch with a side of me that I nearly forgot. The story has created the inspiration for me and my wife to start hiking and camping together and has helped to strengthen our relationship with something we can do together. Hopefully one day I’ll have a story of my own that will give someone else what yours has started for me.

This is one of two stand out hiking series from the 2019 season. It was really fantastic. The way you shot it, and the way you told it. It's amazing. You should be very proud of what you've accomplished, both on the trail and creatively.
I'm just sad that it's over.
