Hm. Well Fel burn both soul and body iirc. It is not just a green fire. So the way Varian died his soul should ve been annihilated. BUT considering how consistent Warcraft is his soul's fate depended entirely on what they want to do. IMO Tirion is taken to the Light. Sort of how Uther's half was taken. The reason other half was in Shadowlands was probably due to interference of Frostmourne

I would love for tirion to show back up in the story. As one of my favorite characters i feel like he showed the best example of good in the light (because as we've seen the light isnt always good as the void isnt always bad). Paladins of the light tend to be closed minded but tirion wasn't like how he helped eitrigg and in general accepted those of all races fighting the same cause. It may just be my opinion but not all other paladins before the argent crusade would've been open minded to non light wielders (almost anything not human or dwarf) to fight in the lights name.
Great theory! I think you’re onto something here. If you look at the retribution paladin ashbringer questline from legion you can see that the paladins of the silver hand saved Tirion from the fel pool. He later dies and you see his soul infused in light floating up into the sky. This supports your theory a ton and I’d add it if you can.
Tirion didn't die right away when he was burned on the Broken Shore. In the Retribution paladin artifact quest you find him being held captive by an inquisitor demon. He ends up dying after you acquire the Ashbringer, but not from Fel magic by the way it looks. He possibly died to his wounds.
I dont think this is correct. It is said that fel magic consumes souls to be used. It doesnt say it destroy soul of the person who was attacked. In Varians case you can see that Guldan didnt use him to fuel his magic, but just destroyed him/his physical body.
not everyone dies by some godlike villain just look at real life. Ramses 2 who pronounced himself a God died from a tooth infection at old age, Toetanchamon died from falling of a horse,... in essence death is always stupid and pointless. Nobody is immortal not even against the simplest of things.

I don't think Varian would go Bastion at all.... Just like Alexandros Mograine, forgeting who he was and his motives wouldn't fit Varian, especially considering he has already gone through this before (as Lo'gosh), and remembering who he was was a major thing. I believe that Varian, like Mograine, is destined to Maldraxxus. Let's not forget the fact that he was a fierce warrior and a well known gladiator, and as a king he tried to exterminate the Horde to prevent another war, Anduin being the only influence he had against that kind of thinking.
Idk I have a feeling that in a future expansion Tirion will be reanimated, he will became an Undead or a Death Knight I just got that feeling, he died without a cool cinematic, just eaten by fel flames and not dying, his true death scene was also ridicolous when he hand you the Ashbringer as a paladin.
I think when it is said "The light has no influance" they mean that it does not matter if you served the light or not, that does NOT define if you go to Bastion or Maldraxxus. As in "The light has no influance over WHERE YOU GO" To me, Shadowlands does not define choosing who you are only cause of who or what you served. May it be Void, Fel, Light or what ever. It choose depending on who you are as a person and your actions.
I don't think Tirion would have gone to Bastion, I feel the memory of his life would actually be a boon to him and not a burden so the Arbiter would not have sent him there. Similar to what she did with Alexandros.
Fel magic consumes the soul, which is why the Dreadlords found it so distasteful. Think of Fel like the antimatter to soul's matter. Varian and Tirion are annihilated completely. Still not convinced? Remember how the portal to Outland was opened?
Another possibility I just thought of is maybe we have seen Tiriion in Bastion, but he is not longer known as that. For example in Bastion there is a former Tauren that you help purge the memories of and they have a name that is nothing like what a Tauren would have. So it's possible that he has been changed due to how Bastion works, but I honestly don't think he would go to Bastion in the first place. The memory of his son, of his friendship with Eitrigg I think would actually be positive things for him and so he would not have been judged to go to Bastion. But it's really hard to say for sure. The most likely thing is he is either in another afterlife within the Shadowlands, or the Light felt that he could be a valuable asset for them in their ongoing war against the other cosmic forces.

So we have seen the light intervene when Uther's soul was torn asunder it was split into two. Who is to say the light did not claim his soul before it whisked off to the shadowlands
I've said this on other videos but I think the light made a deal to break him free in ICC as the DK starting zone proved the light and shadow weaken in their opposite zones. In fact I think this deal is why sylvanus went to the maw. The jailor asked for a soul in exchange for his servant as he couldn't let the light get to denathrius anima reserves. This implies the light knows the jailors plans but thinks they've stopped it, where the jailor pulled a fast one on them by being able to rez sylvie

Tirion was even stripped of his powers with the Light by Uther when he saved Eitrigg, yet he was able to call upon them anyway. Tirion's faith was unwavering.
@@shadowgamer4306 I am not sure, it's in a short story that takes place before WoW. Uther puts him on basically a trial where him and the other members of the Knights of the Silver Hand weigh judgement on him. Uther then ends up drumming Tirion out of the order and proclaims that he has been stripped of his ability to call upon the Light. Uther also excommunicated Tirion from Hearthglenn and I believe any town within Lordaeron. This is why in Vanilla he is found living in a house on the outskirts of the Eastern Plaguelands. Most likely the punishment was a symbolic thing that would cause most people to be so demoralized from the ceremony that they would lose faith due to emotional instability. But Tirion did not lose faith and later on in the book calls upon the Light to heal Eitrigg who ended up getting wounded.
Would be interesting if he is the one who leads the lights invasion of Azeroth. I mean how many people would distrust Tirion? Almost noone, therby the light will have a very easy time to convince the citizens to follow it's course. Basically he would become for Azeroth, what Yrel is now for alternate Draenor, a conquerer and zealot of the light.
I don't think the Kirian meant that the light has no power in the shadowland but that it's not a criteria for where you're placed. Overall i really hate the whole concept of the Shadowlands as where we go when we die outside of some extreme cases. I hope we find out that the Shadow lands as a whole is a sham, and just a power grab for a group of beings. Beings should do to the realm of their belief, ie: if a mage dies they go to the realm of order, if a warlock dies they go to the realm of disorder. This is in order to feed the cosmic balance, not jail one enemy in a chain of floating islands in one dimension.
I have a theory that maybe the light is very strong against the power of death because of how the ashbringer was able to defeat frostmorne and cause of how anduin was able to hold back the power of the jailer for a bit with it so thats why the jailer wanted to use anduin cause oh how strong he is with light. And maybe the jailer had tirion soul kidnapped and has him locked away cause tirion was the one who stopped his plan in the first place
As a paladin Tirion is more important to me than Uther. I understand why it was Uther and not him but I wish us would’ve been him. Especially since we see the original ashbringer.
I say Tirion will be in the next raid being tortured for killing the lich king... and that is when we realize the maw was broken at the beginning of Legion and Ursoc only bypassed it through the dream, therefore the breaking off death did not affect his transfer to the shadowlands.
Should we not see Tirion in shadowlands I quit!!! This man was such an Important character and the way he died always made me believe that we will see him again since I thought blizz wouldn't shoot to the trashcan such an important character. But as it stands now, it's true that he seems to be lost forever.
The Titans don't go into the Shadowlands because they are not mortals. The Shadowlands is for mortal souls specifically. Beings of magic like the Titans go to where they originate from similar to the Demons and the Nether. Pretty simple to understand.
Plot twist: After the events in legion that resulted in Varian's death, Sylvanas uses the distraction of everything happening in the Shadowlands to bring him back. Then again, I think the redemption arc needs to take a backseat for a while. With a little more content and lore, I think most people would appreciate that much better.
The ebon blade tried to retrieve Tirions remaims in legion to make him a Horseman because of his skills as a leader. If his soul were obliterated that wouldn't be possible and he would be ressurected as a husk. And since the light protected his body during that attack, the theory that his soul is within the light actually feels more plausible. Has there ever been stated that Tirion and varians souls were destroyed? Since the cinematic itself just shows the destruction lf the body if i remember correctly.
Just because we don't see Tirion doesn't mean he's not in the shadowlands. Blizzard is only putting in dead characters that they want to include in the story of the shadowlands or expand on that particular characters story. It would be a bit ridiculous for them to include every single mortal being that had died in the history of warcraft
Alexandros is a DEATH KNIGHT ffs Edit: Even tho he didn’t choose it he is one and the light can’t really help a death knight like Darion said in the “We ride Forth” novel.
This is why I don't like how they did the shadowlands. Because with how they did it was so focused on the 5 realms when really they should have had someone just teleport you to the realms and they don't send you to the other realms because it's not important for your mission right now.
No, EVERYONE is in the Shadowlands... according to Blizz's fucked up lore. That's why Ursoc and Ysera are somehow in both the Shadowlands AND the Dream at the same time. It's why we see night elf souls even though in lore they become wisps on Azeroth when they die. Shadowmoon orcs no longer go to the Shadowmoon burial grounds, they go to the Shadowlands... huh, kind of a coincidence in names there. The list goes on. It's about as fucked up as WoD because no one understands how it works.
I see it Like this....he has no contribution really to the overall story line. The wont simply bring everyone into the scene, its just too much of a hazzle. second I doubt the light has taken him. See...for me its like with demons...unles you are fully taken by an element, like fel in the case of demons, you still go to the shadowlands or other realms of death. For the light to claim him he would have to be something like the Lightforged. fully saturated by the light.
Extremely unlikely, if being killed in the manner Varian was sent you to the Twisting Nether we would have learned about it in Legion. It seems way more likely that Guldan destroyed Varians soul, since warlocks can fairly easily destroy someone soul completely and Guldan was so vindictive.
No, he's in the Shadowlands too. According to Shadowlands lore, EVERYONE goes to the Shadowlands. All beings from all planets go there (even though we only see people from Azeroth). This is Blizz's official in-game lore, they literally say it in game. it just doesn't explain how Ursoc and Ysera are both in the Dream AND the Shadowlands at the same time or how night elf souls are in the Shadowlands even though they become wisps on Azeroth when they die. Blizz has royally fucked their own lore and have no clue what's going on, it's almost as bad as WoD because no one understands how it fits into the timeline.
@@cujoedaman not everyone goes to the Shadowlands when they die. Helheim, The Halls of Valor, Quetz'lun, the Emerald Dream, and being sent to the Light are all afterlives seperate from the Shadowlands. Additionally, elementals and demons are just sent back to their planes of existance when killed. Also, as far as I'm aware warlock lore still states that when they use a soul to power one of their spells the soul is completely destroyed, in the same way as having all of your souls anima used up in SL means it's completely destroyed.
@@KorporateKotoo That's exactly my point, in the cinematic when you get to Oribos, they say that EVERY being comes to the Shadowlands. Also, what about Death Knights? Does that mean their souls never went to the Shadowlands? If druids and protectors of the Dream go to the Dream when they die, then how is Ursoc, who we clearly see IN THE DREAM at the end of the raid, in Ardenweald? Also, Yesera is also in the Dream, you can clearly see her soul there walking. Though someone pointed out that maybe it's an echo and that her soul actually went back to Elune... but again, Elune is NOT the Shadowlands. Blizz's terrible storytelling is really screwing things up here... though that's not saying much as the story has always been second anyways.
@@cujoedaman Deathknights, like forsaken, are being held back and once they die for the last time their soul is released to the SL. What I think they mean by "everyone goes to the Shadowlands" is that every mortal goes their naturally, but artificially created ones like the Halls of Valor can steal souls away from their destined afterlife in the SL. Not all druids/wild gods would go to the Dream at death, but for some reason some do. Maybe it involves some sort of ritual involved which is why Ursoc, a wild god who died in combat, wasn't able to go to the Dream. Blizz definitely needs to confirm and explain more things about the Shadowlands though. It's a shitshow atm and I could definitely see Blizz retconning a lot of the stuff I've said.
They fucked up Tyrion´s lore and gave him a crappy death just so random jimmy could have an ashbringer thus buying the legion expansion, activision mentality right there. Lore below money. Zero respect for what he represented in world of warcraft.

How did Uther manage to sever Tirion’s connection to the light?
And what if.. Speculations about Turalyon be a bad guy in future are wrong? And the "Gold guy" Will actually be tirion? Im Just thinking about it now
I don't think the Kirian meant that the light has no power in the shadowland but that it's not a criteria for where you're placed.
What do you think about Anduin Lothar making an appearance? Possibly to save lich king Anduin.
Anduin is just a very powerful DK
Shadow land will pass and we won't see any hero only varian trying to convince Edwin
He should get a major role really... His death was so stupid.
The Titans don't go into the Shadowlands because they are not mortals. The Shadowlands is for mortal souls specifically. Beings of magic like the Titans go to where they originate from similar to the Demons and the Nether. Pretty simple to understand.
So is Tirion in the same place Crusader Bridenbrad is?
Blizzard watching this tirion is a naru now 😂
Plot twist: After the events in legion that resulted in Varian's death, Sylvanas uses the distraction of everything happening in the Shadowlands to bring him back.
Then again, I think the redemption arc needs to take a backseat for a while. With a little more content and lore, I think most people would appreciate that much better.
At this point Blizzard could make Tirion the final boss & it wouldn’t surprise me.
They need to stop disenchanting humans.
So why is garrosh in their if he died at the start of wod?
The real question is, what happens if u leave the shadowlands and die outside, do u go back to it or what?
Wrynn isn't there because I'm pretty sure his soul got exploded by Gul'dan. Same with Tirion.
Tirion should be venthyr. What will his ashbringer be called? Animabringer
My favorite paladin of all time still sick he gone he the reason i main a ret and has been my one and only character
He got slowed and hand of freedome is on cd
Alexandros is a DEATH KNIGHT ffs
Edit: Even tho he didn’t choose it he is one and the light can’t really help a death knight like Darion said in the “We ride Forth” novel.
Alexandros was a deathknight, now he is a soul that defends the Shadowlands.
Will we see death wing or is he in the void
Have you noticed how bastion only has humans.... so all other races end up elsewhere
You see a tauren during a sidequest being transformed into one of the blue humans.
This is why I don't like how they did the shadowlands. Because with how they did it was so focused on the 5 realms when really they should have had someone just teleport you to the realms and they don't send you to the other realms because it's not important for your mission right now.
Light lands? Should have gone with After Light
Is supposed uther be with the light also he died pure but maybe filled with pain because of what happened to him arthas betraying him.
TyRION ForDRIN WoW buy them WalleTTS
Tirion actually died with arthas , he was the general nazgrim of wotlk
Blizzard writers sure know how to disrespect a character.
He defeated what ? Nothing he was in Ice.
Where is Varian wrynn?!
Its blatantly easy. If you are death you go to the realm of the death. Which is the realms of the shadowlands.
Is it possible that instead of being destroyed utterly Varians soul was instead sent to the realm of Fel?
Uther in the shadowlands but Tirion with the light. What a snowflake jk
Again, the expansions don't happen every two years in lore. XD
I have a better explanation: Shadowlands lore is nonsense crap made by people who cant tell a story and steered by corporate greed and thats why so many iconic characters are missing from the story.
can we just not talk about shadowlands. It needs to be retconned
Fourth!!!
Tirion is a traitor i dont care where he is .
He attacked Alliance soldiers to rescue an orc whom probably had human blood on his hands .
where? Well answer is nowhere, its lazy writing, old masculine characters are irrelevant and after being killed not worth to be mentioned.
