And thank you for the wonderful music. Your interpretation of this piece is beautiful as always. It is a joy to watch you play and listen to your music.
Oh boy. This is probably my all time favourite tune from Lyle. Being most into classical music back in the day, this is one of the pieces that opened my ears to the whole Jazz scene. Here it was all; Debussy, Ravel, Satie, Chopin, and a small touch of my native composer Grieg. All wrapped up in a heartfelt, hypnotic and modern jazz piece. You don't get closer to Lyle than this. Again, thanks for your always exellent interpretations of Lyle's works. And good luck with your new steps in life.
Thank you very much, my Norwegian friend (did I ever mention that your country is my favorite - along with the western part of Canada?) - also for your good wishes 🙏🏻🎹

My first thought, of course, was your beautiful performance, (as usual). A close second thought was what an incredible job you did again, (as usual), of transcribing seemingly ALL of this piece's intricate and subtle nuances. My third thought was wondering how many times you had to listen to Lyle playing it to transcribe all those subtle nuances. Really quite a feat. I don’t know if you have ever seen this relatively obscure 1993 video of Lyle playing, ( ruclips.net/video/uL30-iQ8oPk/видео.html ), but it would be interesting to see what you could do transcribing and playing this piece. His solo between 3:10 and 7:50 is really something IMHO. Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to transcribe, play and post this piece.
Dear Chip, thanks for this nice comment! Concerning "Corinho", it's a stunning tune, but I'm not sure if it will work without the drive of the drums. I think after the solo intro it needs the additional power of the band to keep the suspense...

Say nothing about the surprising visual aspect, the musical aspect is, as always, incredible. Great interpretation and performance! I do miss the sound of the grand. Did you part ways with it or is this an interim setup?

And yes, I'm offering lessons in presence in Rottach-Egern, Tegernsee 😊
Where is your grand piano??
I sold it before I moved.
@@ukaykeys Sad to hear that. I really like your performance in playing Ennio Morricone music.
Say nothing about the surprising visual aspect, the musical aspect is, as always, incredible. Great interpretation and performance! I do miss the sound of the grand. Did you part ways with it or is this an interim setup?
Thanks, mate! I sold the Baby Grand to be more independent in traveling. For this purpose I'm happy with the current solution 😉
@@ukaykeys It helps to read the video description. (Duh!) I wish you all the best in life at your new location. Sounds like it's only you (no need to comment). I always pictured you with the red-head in the On Golden Pond video (Tati?) Anyway, all the best to you. Have a great summer!
@@tex24 the red-head is still with me (thank God 😊). We will celebrate our 25th marriage day in July (we call it "Silver wedding" here in Germany). Thanks for asking - Tati will be pleased to hear it 😁
@@ukaykeys It's always nice when you get a response to a YT video comment. This is the best response this year! So happy for you and Tati! Congrats on your sølvbryllup (google translate it).
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤verdensklasse! Blir det snart konsert i Norge?
Texas først.
Thank you! But I don't play concerts anymore. I'm more interested in learning new tunes 😊
Hi Uwe,
Which computer do you use to play with Ivory 3 ?
Is-it your Mac we can see on your Kawai keyboard ?
How much RAM and how big is your SSD ?
Thank you in advance for your answer !
Salut Olivier, I'm using a MacBook Pro M1 with 16GB RAM and a 2TB SSD...
🤙🙏
I should really have you come over to Africa
😊
@@franciscluster D'accord 😊👍🏻
Different piano; same amazing quality.
Where do I find the transciption?
Somehow I missed this - sorry for the late answer! Just write to: uver@gmx.net for more info about my transcriptions 🎹
Exceptionnel... Lyle is so hard to play...
