That’s crazy stuff. I got total opposite numbers. Problems with the IE. I actually have all three, Apr,IE,034. Apr is only the ecu tune, and IE having issues with idle, battery low voltage, 2nd gear very hard shifts. 034 I’m having no issue at all. I also used a mustang dyno for all my testing at BOLD cars. I’m running E85, HPFP, carbon intake , 10:33 Miltek cat back, thats it. Great video though. Beautiful car. I have a 1of3 coupe 😉👍🏻💪🏼
You're a legend bro. Was literally looking at both shopping carts to decide which one I want to go with. I had 034 on my S5, so I already have their tuner and was looking for a tune for my RS5, but saw IE has their power link available and their tunes look promising but not enough feedback on it. This post just gave me the nudge, so thank you!
here is the thing. These tunes are really made for different people. Integrated has always pushed the limits of power and torque. But at the same time, most of the cars I have seen go nuclear and blow up are running IE files. Its great that they can push out that much power and get those times. But you have to ask for how long? The great thing about 034 tunes is they are plenty quick. But they do a lot more in the way of making sure you have longevity. And I dont know about the IE tune but I know you have to drive the 034 for awhile to allow it to adapt to your driving style. Even after a reflash my car feels a bit slower until the car has had time to adapt to my driving. And with 034 always try the upswing method to launching rather than holding the launch for an extended period of time. And I hate to say it man. But draggy times and 1/4 mile runs should actually be shown while being performed. Showing results without the actual runs means it could be any number of variables not accounted for including not knowing if this was the actual same car. And after my b8.5 blew up on IE software and had multiple issues with it, I will pick the tune that gives the best performance with reliability in mind. Not just pure track numbers. Especially unconfirmed draggy runs. Show the run, or it might as well not have happened.
i agree. after doing extensive research, it seems like the 034 tunes are really the only option flash tuning audis these days. i just flashed stage 1 on my b8.5 s5. i know a few people personally with very high mileage b8.5s running dual pulley with 034, and the car is still running strong.
@@mizaqenyad4269 And its funny because 034 was highly criticized for their methods on some things when they created tunes and parts for the b8.5. But I wish that is who I would have went with because I feel that car would still be on the road.
@@timmoran6280 to be fair, when you look at old forum posts, it seems like in the beginning their tunes definitely had a lot of quality issues. but then at some point in these last 10 years they really changed how they were doing things and became vastly superior to the other tuners. some of my favorite things about the 034 tune are how they run the fans and IC pump at 100% efficiency anytime you're under like 5mph. they also have an option for the tcu tune that disables the AMAX feature from stock, which essentially no lift shifts all the shifts when you're launching. disabling it makes launches a hair slower, but much easier on the gearbox.
@@mizaqenyad4269 Oh yeah, early on there was some criticism. And they admit that. And I think a few parts early on were not up to par. But since that time a lot has changed. I mean it was only 2 years ago that the only company I heard people talking about was APR. Now look at them. But right now, as far as canned tunes go its pretty much 034 or IE. And I also dont like that IE uses a dyno that will usually give higher than normal numbers. This was said by that Vancity guy who blew up his RS3 and his S4. He was using custom tunes at that time. But he has mentioned that IE uses a Mustang dyno instead of a hub dyno like 034.

I’m thinking of switching out of my 2018 S4 into an RS5. Mainly because my S4 has the old set of rocker arms. Better to trade up before anything happens. Sucks cuz I’m stage 3 plus! When I pay down some bills I think I’m trading up to a RS5.

I am looking at the IE Stage 1 93 Tune as well. One question: do you have to only use 93 afterwards? Or can you still use 91 from time to time but with less hp?
@Peter Georgiev I would keep it 93 to avoid knock or problems. If you only have 91 in your area use 91 tune. You can run 91 tune with 93 octane. I would not run e60-e85 with 91 or 93 tune just fyi. :).
