Great to see this kind of A/B video. Would love to see this with the triple crown to compare the tones of the amp with el34 or 6l6. Something to consider.
Thanks, JJ! There are some A/B comparisons of the tubes in the TC100 demo video. But hopefully we'll do more as there's a lot to be learned by listening to the differences between models, features, tubes etc. Cheers!

I want to know what the amp sounds like with my own ears (and not 6 inches away for the center of the speaker) as I play it in a room. The cabinet plays a big roll in the overall sound that you here. You can also get a good listen to how the amp takes to his other pedals if you have time to watch the whole video. Hope this is of help. ruclips.net/video/rJmyYkyav0A/видео.html
I know it's been six months, but I'm really curious about the 25. I have the same preference for pedals. I've got a Lonestar (6L6 100w) and it is my favorite for those tones via those pedals. That's against an old Egnater TOL50 2x12 (6L6s), Marshall JVM 100W (2 channel head), a PRS "30" (EL84s), and an old and a newer Super Reverb RI, so it's pretty awesome like that. I'm hoping the same for the 25 Filmore, but in a more grab and go format.
For what it’s worth, I have the Mesa TC-50 and the clean channel with pedals is indistinguishable from channels 2 and 3 depending on which you’re using. My chain is JHS Sweet Tea > Stone Deaf Fig Fumb > Stone Deaf PDF-1x > Modded Ge-7 and it’s like having a seven-channel amp. Zero compromises, pedal sounds are “channel-grade.”

I have a Fender DRRI, Blues Deluxe, and a Boogie Rectoverb, but my Recto HATES my overdrives in the clean channel - ESPECIALLY fuzz (which, as a Hendrix fanatic, is a bad thing). I was about to throw in the towel on Boogies thinking they were too dark and had too much of their own tonal characteristics to allow for flexibility. I love the amp "alone", but I play a lot of different stuff ranging from old blues standards to Hendrix to Rush to The Strokes, so having a clean channel that allows my pedals to do their thing is important, but I also love that "boogie sound". Please...guide me on this neverending tone journey Mesa gurus!
Hey James - Thanks for checking out the Fillmores. At about 5 minutes into the following video, Andy shares a bit of what the Fillmore 50 sounds like with his overdrive pedal. You can also get a good listen to how the amp takes to his other pedals if you have time to watch the whole video. Hope this is of help. ruclips.net/video/rJmyYkyav0A/видео.html
@@mesaboogie I actually bought the 25 watt head! Should be here tomorrow 😃
@@horrorview - Thank you, James - Happy playing!
Zero compromises, pedal sounds are “channel-grade.”
wish he'd play with something other than that strat. The bridge on a strat is about the worst sound you can get.
Hey Bill, You can hear Dinesh and the Fillmore 25 with three different guitars in the following video: ruclips.net/video/VB2fKDI2UlY/видео.html There are a few different guitars used in the following Fillmore 50 demo: ruclips.net/video/s3mPpdsTnks/видео.html
Notice you are the only negative person to comment? Maybe its time to be more appreciative of things others do for us?
Ready Rocker sorry, but if I’m gonna spend my hard earned money, i sure as hell want to hear more than the bridge pickup of a strat. You may be willing to settle. I wont.
Bill Thomas i just make my purchasing decisions with real life demo - not by watching a video.
50 by a mile
Stupid question, but why isn't this a $4000 amp? What's the give here? Is it a chinese piece of crap? That sound + that sound = error.
Dude don't jinx it. These things are an insane value!
TREBLE so SO harsh! Nasty.
Meh
i really wanted a new transatlantic ....
