Bruh I been walking around the gym with ripped earpads cause I thought you just had to buy whole new headphones 😭 now I won’t look ratchet cause ima buy new earpads 💀
I was so close to throwing my headphones away because the ear pads were completely disintegrating. Luckily I discovered your replacement ear pads through this video and now my Beats are as good as new. Removing the old adhesive was a bit of a pain, but otherwise the installation is really easy. Great product!
Very helpful!! ***TO REMOVE EXCESS ADHESIVE**** put any cooking oil on your finger and rub it on the leftover adhesive, let it sit for a few minutes, then use a scraping tool or butter knife to scrape it off.
This video saved me some money because ear pads that I bought from amazon did not have indention for charging port. If I did not watch this video I could have tried to install it and it would void warranty as well as cause some potential problems during installation. Thank you very much for a helpful video.
Thanks so much for the video especially mentioning the mistakes first! Just replaced mine and they look as good as new. Unfortunately I only saw your links after I went and bought some.
Thank you for the chance to revive my headphones now that they are back in style! Will definitely have to try the stretching technique CAuse mine hurt. Alot
@@WickedCushions I hope the ones in ordered off Amazon are the current ones. Red 3m tape? Also do I need to get all of the old adhesive off? Like 100%? Another video from you guys had a little residue left on pad
Sorry about that. This is because we have tried cheaper shipping options before and it was just not working. Packages used to arrive late or not arrive at all.
@@keshavathreya5365 that's weird because it shouldn't affect the speaker. Try to turn it off, charge it and turn it back on. If you still have the same issue, please contact us at cs@wickedcushions.com for further assistance.
Guys i have Beats Solo (Wireless)...but it says just solo not solo 2 or solo 3, the ear pads looks exactly the same as the 3 ...are they all they all the same ?
Hey Dave, Beats solo wireless are actually Beats Solo 2. I know its a little confusing because it does not say the number 2 anywhere on the headphones / the package , but let me explain it a little. Before Apple purchased Beats By Dre in 2013 , Beats by Dre were made by a company named Monster. Monster used to make the Beats Solo HD, the first ever beats that were using the model name solo. When apple purchased Beats by Dre , they released another Beats solo, this time with 2 versions , Wired and Wireless, hence making it the Beats Solo 2. To prove this even further, In 2016 the beats Solo3 Wireless came out, which leaves no room to doubt that the Beats solo wired and the beats solo wireless are Beats Solo 2.
Its the wire cover, you want to still keep it covered. See if you can replace that with a regular piece of tape. The wire should not be exposed, could eventually short circuit the headset
OOKKKK you answered the question....perfectly 🤣I did not know I had to leave them for 12 hours....I came back home the next both had come up a lil bit but now I know for sure they are sitting at this moment
The alcohol will break it down slightly, then if you scrape it off with your nails / something slightly flat that fits there - it should be easier. You basically scrape it and roll if that makes sense
I put up with my flaky pads because I thought they were still okay. Then the memory foam started to become exposed and I was like yeah… I need to replace these 💀
Yo, I don't know if you replaced those ear cushions before but those beats are fake. The ear cushion should be as light brown color, regardless of what beat it is.

Does the earcups work? i ordered mine and saw some reviews stating that the adhesive isnt strong enough
We have changed our adhesive since these reviews were made

We do not :(

And as perfect as it was going... I put one on off center 😭
The adhesive is strong enough to remove and re apply
Will it still be secured if you have no more dowels left?
Yes, the glue is strong enough
why is there no shipping here in the philippines ?

instead of placing the books in-between can we wear them?

Where can I get the ear pads to replace?
wickedcushions.com
Does it come with two when you buy them on your website
It comes as a pair
did you send to Mexico?, i have a Beats Solo 3 Wireless that i want to replace the ear pads
You can order from our Amazon MX store. Please go to this link: www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B01MPW2XJB
Can this be applied to the beats solo pro as well or just solo 2 and 3?
Sorry but no. This is only applicable for Solo 2 and 3.
Very helpful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I hope you can ship also in the Philippines , but good tutorial
We use hobby dynamics . ph in Philippines as our wholesale partner
Which solo beats u show on the video?
These are the Solo 3 wireless

wait so it don't matter if i broke my dowels? won't it fall out?
Hey Paw, you'll have to attach our ear pads correctly and exactly
where the dowels was. If you do that, our adhesives won't fall out.

What if you can't get the sticky resiidue off?
try as much as you can to scrape it off, you can leave some but not large amounts so it won't have a bumpy surface

the alcohol wipes only made things worse with the adhesive. i can't get a single bit removed whatsoever
The alcohol will break it down slightly, then if you scrape it off with your nails / something slightly flat that fits there - it should be easier.
You basically scrape it and roll if that makes sense
Now I did it step by step but they won’t turn back on
Cushions have nothing to do with the electronics inside
I appreciate it frfr

That’s the same replacement ones I got
Awesome. What do you think about the ear pads?
Wish I could have seen the video without the caption blocking everything
I think you can turn them off
There is so much adhesive left, alcohol don’t seem to be working
Sometimes it won't be perfect, but at least removing the back chunks will be sufficient
Got the same ones ear things hahaha
Awesome! How is it?
