Rosalina’s Ice World is an underrated gem of a track and if this prediction happens I’d love to hear what a remix of its already amazing soundtrack would sound like.
I can back this up. After playing Rosalina’s Ice World for the first time in over a year in Mario Kart Tour recently, it’s seriously such a beautiful track. It’s entirely a Mario galaxy reference with those planets in the background.
I completely agree. This track is a part of my Wave 6 predictions. I think it is a perfect qualified candidate, considering the fact that it is the only track that Rosalina has, and the snow theme will complement the holiday season.
I'd be happy for it to be Rosalina's Ice World. As much as I really want the mystery track to be Airship Fortress (if it really is a mystery track or its really just Mushroom Bridge after all), but as long as it's a track that I'd be happy with, I'll have no complaints.
I get most people have assumptions of a “curveball” or “mystery” track instead of Mushroom Bridge but I seriously think Mushroom Bridge is still coming. There’s been a Flower Cup course in every wave and theoretically speaking, the amount of diverse and reintroduced cars in Mushroom Bridge as well as its various paths would actually in a sense make it more difficult compared to Moonview Highway which got nerfed in the traffic department and has less paths compared to Mushroom Bridge. It sounds like a long shot but really Moonview Highway would’ve been a Flower Cup track technically speaking if it weren’t for how brutal the cars were in Mario Kart Wii. You’d also have to consider that Mushroom Bridge arguably looks like it was also made with 8 Deluxe’s BCP in mind and they literally remade 4 GCN tracks in Tour all in the span of a year which is unheard of when it comes to GCN representation in Tour. How many GCN tracks were we going to get anyway in the DLC anyway? Exactly 4 too. And yeah Moonview Highway did replace a prefixless track which could’ve either been a very early scrapped nitro considering there were no datamines in Tour hinting towards a developing unknown nitro or it was just a placeholder this whole time, but we’ve never seen a retro prefix get replaced and I doubt that would happen since most likely they were chosen way ahead of time. Considering Moonview Highway was most likely chosen like at around the launch of Wave 2 which caused all the shuffling to begin and you see why it had to be moved to Wave 5, and I don’t think they would’ve 180ed on the decision for Mushroom Bridge. So my prediction still stands as this: Acorn Cup Tour Rome Avanti SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 GCN DK Mountain Piranha Plant Cove Spiny Cup: Tour Madrid Drive GCN Mushroom Bridge Piranha Plant Pipeline Wii Rainbow Road The Mushroom Bridge spot is weird Ik but it fits with a developing pattern I noticed where we got the GCN tracks in the BCP in the same order as their completed development in Tour (Waluigi Stadium first since we had its full render over a year ago, Daisy Cruiser next, DK Mountain after that, and Mushroom Bridge last). And even then, you could still swap DK Mountain and Mushroom Bridge around since I think DK Mountain could technically fit as a second track considering Wii Rainbow Road has to end the cup and Piranha Plant Pipeline (a nitro) has to be the third track because of Wii Rainbow Road. Mushroom Bridge then would fit well as the third track of the wave akin to Moonview Highway being the third track of its wave too.
lmao, what a dumb argument, Mushroom Bridge doesn’t look like it was made for the BCP, Waluigi Stadium and SNEA Bowser’s Castle 3 are much better examples of tracks that look like they were made _for_ the BCP…

I still think Mushroom Bridge is coming whether people like it or not there has been something in Wave 3 that did surprise many that being Peach Gardens and how on the final lap you race in reverse, the pathway to the warp pipe on Mushroom Bridge is still there and could be used as a way to race in reverse
Yes, but the map had hints to going backwards, as the Luigi bush while you can’t go backwards in Bridge. Also, Cove is gonna be the Peach Garden like map. They aren’t bringing back Bridge. Things can get scrapped, and things can change.
The pipe may be there, but it sends you in the same direction. There’s no way to actually do that. Also, if they could do that, why include Moonview at all when more people wanted Airship. It’s not coming.
Honestly the only way they could justify it being in Wave 6 would be a gimmick, so maybe. I think at this point it is more likely that BC4 surprise replaces BC3 though. Pretty sure the GCN course is just going to be one of the jungles.
Wave 6 predictions: Acorn Cup: Tour Rome Avanti: It makes sense, with its more relaxing atmosphere and the fact that Rome has a history with Acorns. GCN Mushroom Bridge: IT’S. STILL. COMING! We’ve had a Flower Cup track every single wave, we’ve never seen a retro replace a retro, track selection wise, the Tour remake looks like it’ll fit in 8DX just fine, and Wii Moonview Highway’s reduced traffic would make Mushroom Bridge the harder track, ironically. Even if the track were to be replaced, it would not be by a Star/Special Cup track. It would be by a Mushroom/Flower cup track (i.e. N64 Frappe Snowland, GBA Luigi Circuit if you include GBA Lightning Cup, and 3DS Shy Guy Bazaar). As much as I would love to see DS Airship Fortress return, I’ve given up hope at this point. Also, Wii Daisy Circuit and 3DS Rosalina’s Ice World? Really??? SNES Bowser Castle 3: The placement needs some explanation. The first track of every cup has always been a Tour city, so that’s out. The final track is usually either a Tour track, a HUGE fan-favorite retro, or a Rainbow Road, which BC3 fits none of them, so that’s out. While it is an SNES track and those are relatively simple, there’s a reason why they picked the hardest Bowser Castle and one of the hardest tracks in Super. So second track is also out. The last time we got a Rainbow Road, we had a Tour nitro right before it and we have two of them this time, so third track of the Spiny Cup is out. Which means the third track of the Acorn Cup is the only spot that can realistically fit. Piranha Plant Cove: I could see it as the third track of Spiny, but I feel like the other Piranha Plant track fits better there. Spiny Cup: Tour Madrid Drive: While having a simpler layout than Rome, Madrid feels more chaotic, which is perfect for the final cup of the DLC. GCN Dino Dino Jungle: I could also see DK Mountain, but I’m going with this one. Also, all the other spots were already taken up, in case you were wondering about the placement. Piranha Plant Pipeline: This has big penultimate track energy. Wii Rainbow Road: Do I need to explain?
What about Daisy Circuit now? 😉 Been saying: Mushroom Bridge was a nice idea. Would've been cool imo. It was never happening after the Moonview Highway selection.
This is my predictions for wave 6 Acorn Cup Tour Rome Avanti DS Airship Fortress GCN DK Mountain Piranha Plant Cove Spiny Cup Tour Madrid Drive Piranha Plant Pipeline SNES Bowser Castle 3 Wii Rainbow Road
I like your course selection. I pray that these are the tracks Nintendo choose. I will say that although it sounds weird, Nintendo has some variation with the skybox/time of day aesthetic in each cup it seems. With this in mind I would personally switch Piranha Plant Pipeline and Piranha Plant Cove, making the Acorn Cup go a in night-sunset-night-day pattern, and the Spiny Cup go in a day-space-day-space pattern.
Sponsor signs in BCP courses mean absolutely nothing. If they did, then not only would we get Pauline because of a sign on Madrid Drive, but also Nabbit and _Honey Queen_ because of a couple other sponsors on Coconut Mall. Also, Coconut Mall has an ad for Vanilla Lake winter gear as well, but at this point, I think SNES Bowser's Castle 3 is more likely than another flat and boring SNES Vanilla Lake course. Also, keep in mind that DK Mountain also appears in Mario Kart Wii, which already marked the debut of DK Summit.
@@ArendAlphaEagleThey only threw that in as a bonus argument, besides your stupid ass argument about “bOth aRe iN Wii” is not valid when it comes to DLC…
Probably gonna be Airship Fortress. And I think Wave 6 would have symmetry as a nice way to end things off. 2 cities at the start 2 piranha plant Nitros 2 Bowser themed tracks 2 Fan Favorites in Wii Also, here’s my Predictions: Acorn: Rome, PPC, BC3 Mountain Spiny: Madrid, PPP, Airship, Wii RR
@@HDRookie Yeah, it’s dated. But I think there’s like a 5% chance of another cup gets added. It would introduce a non Tour track, but Tour courses ended months ago, and Wave 6 is probably coming out in December. That gives around 6 months to make a new track, which modders have done before with less time. It would also add a winter track, which just fits. Plus, I think Dry Dry Ruins had too much effort put into just to be trapped in Tour. My prediction that probably won’t happen Acorn Cup: Rome Avanti (or Madrid Drive) Daisy Circuit DK Mountain Piranha Plant Cove (or Pipeline) Spiny Cup: Madrid Drive (or Rome Avanti) Dry Dry Ruins SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 GCN Rainbow Road Rainbow Cup: Piranha Plant Pipeline (or Cove) Rosalina’s Ice World Airship Fortress Wii Rainbow Road
I honestly think the mystery track will be Luigi’s Mansion. It’s a basic Mushroom cup track that fits the 2nd slot, while also being a fan favorite. It’s also a triple whammy because we only have 2 other ghost tracks in the game and 0 Luigi tracks. Also Wave 6 will probably release around November, so it would fit right in with the theme
I could back Rosalina's Ice World considering that I have felt like 3DS has been terribly underrepresented in this BCP given the game actually has a lot of good courses that weren't chosen for the BCP.
One possible factor here is that Nintendo might not want two DS tracks in wave 6. If you count Pirhana Plant Pipeline as a finished form of the unreleased beta DS Dokan Course then DS Airship Fortress might not appear.
Well, considering Wii Daisy Circuit was revealed last week, unless if Piranha Plant Pipeline was excluded from Wave 6, I sadly don’t see DS Airship Fortress returning, likely because, at this point, almost every original Tour course has returned in the Pass, barring the REMIX tracks, which are well designed, despite being based of the SNES and GBA tracks with variants. I also think the prefix is likely to no longer be 100% accurate, but thanks to the first 5 waves, it’ll be over 95% accurate at the very least. Overall, although we may likely get this selection of courses that I have chosen, personally, this order may work out well: For the Acorn Cup: Tour Rome Avanti Wii Daisy Circuit Piranha Plant Cove (Tour) - Rename to Ocean Cove And GCN DK Mountain And for the Spiny Cup: Tour Madrid Drive Piranha Plant Pipeline (Tour) - Rename to Warp Pipe Canyon, and as I said, credit to Albert Boris for the name change SNES Bowser Castle 3 And Wii Rainbow Road Honestly, excluding Daisy Circuit and the Tour tracks, I‘m more hoping for GCN DK Mountain, SNES Bowser Castle 3 (A definite for me just because we need a retro Bowser’s Castle in 8 Deluxe), and Wii Rainbow Road just because we can’t end the Pass without a Rainbow Road, even if it seems stupid to some people. Either way, hope we get more information about the final wave soon!
They’re not. Each of those were datamined from Tour and their internal course names include “mob” (mobile). Every non-city Tour course is not listed as a Tour course in MK8DX.
@stuffenjoyer6677 But they don't. Sky high sundae looks almost identical to the tour version. Yoshis Island has mid rock textures just tour. And squeaky clean sprint has some tour looking textures too
Nah, I'm sorry, but I don't think Mushroom Bridge will be replaced by a "surprise mystery retro" at all; considering that Moonview Highway did NOT replace a GCN slot AT ALL, but instead Cnsw_63, a prefixless spot: meaning it might've been a placeholder spot back when the prefixes were datamined from Wave 1 (supported by the fact that there's no new nitros in Tour anymore aside from test courses). There's no reason to believe that a GCN course WILL be replaced by a course from another game (just because both Moonview Highway and Mushroom Bridge are both traffic courses, or just because Moonview Highway is often considered more difficult), as we haven't actually seen such a specific case (in which one prefix is replaced by another) happen before, and anyone who thinks otherwise may as well be inhaling copium themselves. That's not to say it CAN'T happen, but it's certainly a wilder prediction. I'll stick to safer predictions, thank you. Also, since Mushroom Bridge IS from the Flower Cup, that makes your statement at 3:47 - 3:53 very prone to be incorrect if Mushroom Bridge DOES end up in Wave 6. My predictions are: Acorn Cup - Tour Madrid Drive - GCN Mushroom Bridge - SNES Bowser's Castle 3 - Piranha Plant Cove Spiny Cup - Tour Rome Avanti - GCN DK Mountain - Piranha Plant Pipeline - Wii Rainbow Road
@@Notyouraveragegal69 I never mentioned mobMU being a test course at all, but now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure it IS a test course. The ONLY files found for it were EnclosureMobmuTest and StartGateMobmuTest (note how both objects end with "Test", just like the objects in mobNU: MorayMobnuTest1, MorayMobnuTest2). Heck, I wouldn't be surprised that "mobMU" was a typo and that it was meant to say "mobNU", which I'm sure it was a test course for Piranha Plant Cove. Plenty of morays and enclosures there. Also, I said that _Cnsw_63_ was a placeholder in the BCP, NOT that mobMU was a placeholder in Tour. And what do you mean, "DK Mountain isn't happening ffs"? I'd be fine with either DK Mountain or Dino Dino Jungle, but I just think DK Mountain is more likely at this point. What's your evidence that it's not?!
Didn't mean to get this comment late, but I will say, it was never copium, it was the rational takeaway. Prefix slots are not definitive evidence. Assuming that they are makes us beholden to potentially baseless theories and allows us to ignore the evidence collecting right in front of us. Mushroom Bridge and Moonview Highway could've co-existed - but not in a world where Moonview Highway came first. There were a lot of reasons to be suspicious of a Wii Course replacing a GCN course since Wave 3, and the theming here just made the writing on the wall for MB much more clear. With Daisy Circuit confirmed now, there is definitive 100% evidence now that the original prefix leak was wrong. Unless you're willing to say Wii RR won't be in, something was indeed replaced by a Wii track. Almost certainly it was a GCN course. And I don't think this should be surprising when you read between the lines and think about how they typically space their courses out among all the cups.
@@rustyshackleford234 I dunno if you missed this, but that comment was written WAY before Wii Daisy Circuit was announced for the BCP. Back then, all we knew was that Wii Moonview Highway took a prefixless spot and nothing else, so it was fair for me to assume that Mushroom Bridge being replaced by a surprise retro was a mere conspiracy theory, since up until Wave 6, the selection of prefixes in the datamine was still accurate, and we haven't had a case yet where a prefix was replaced by a different prefix. Now that it turns out the conspiracy theory was right and my own logic was wrong... well, I've accepted the upcoming fate since Wii Daisy Circuit was announced. Though I am a little disappointed that GCN Mushroom Bridge (and surprisingly Piranha Plant Pipeline) were ditched in favor of overrepresenting Mario Kart Wii, I'm overall quite satisfied with the courses they chose: Daisy Circuit is my second favorite Wii course after Toad's Factory. Though, the biggest blemish in the BCP IMO was that half of the Wii lineup in the BCP was already the complete Wii lineup in 7.
personally i dont see how both piranha plant tracks get into wave 6, considering they're so similar in name, and the fact that 3DS piranha plant slide is already in base mk8. id probably predict piranha plant cove out of the two, but considering PPC 3 was in tour during the Madrid Tour, it might not be as likely as id hope
Every Tour course is coming to the DLC since that is literally why the BCP exists. The 2 Piranha Plant courses are thematically different from one another, so I do not see your logic.
They’re not similar in gameplay though. One is a mostly underwater ruins course at night with limited flight. The other is a multi path course driving into different colored pipes with Fuzzies and Piranha Plants in the day time.
I can’t see Shipyard coming. I wouldn’t be mad if it did, but it’s unlikely for 2 main reasons. 1.) Its theme is very similar to Cove’s 2.) Its music is very similar to Pipelinez
@@JKV2500 unsure if that’s true because I don’t play tour, but if not that then I’d be quite happy with Rosalina’s Ice World. Basically anything except DS Airship Fortress. That course is so damn overrated, and Delfino Square deserves to be in the game way more than Airship Fortress
@@JKV2500 also, another reason I think Wario Shipyard has a good chance is because there hasn’t been a Wario course in the DLC yet. And Shipyard would fit perfectly, Wario Colosseum is impossible because if Waluigi Stadium. So there’s only two options left: Shipyard or N64 Wario Stadium. We’ve already had DS Wario Stadium, so N64’s variant is out. Leaving only one choice for a Wario course.
@@AverageKingBooEnjoyer It probably will be Airship (it’s what I predict btw). I do like Airship, but it’s a bit overrated. Delfina Square should’ve been in the game though. Just replace it with Toad Circuit and every other course is great (yes, even DS and SNES Mario Circuit). Just have Mario Circuit 3 in Wave 1, Cruiser in Wave 2, and Square in Wave 5.
I feel like if they show off pipeline in the direct, it would make sense to believe it would take up slot four in the first cup. The reason why I think this is because it would follow the same pattern Yoshi’s Island and Squeaky Clean Sprint followed.
My predictions: Luigi Circuit and Peach Circuit because we only have Mario, Toad, and Daisy circuits as of right now. They should also get Figure 8 Circuit to get all of them in. As for Rainbow Road, I think the GBA would get that spot because of the cool Bowser ship in the background. Piranha Plant Cove and Pipeline, as well as the two remaining tour tracks are gonna get in for archiving reasons. And the order is: Wii Luigi Circuit, GBA Peach Circuit, PP Cove, and one of the tour tracks. Then it's the other Tour, GBA Rainbow Road, Figure 8, and Pipeline
There is enough for a booster pass 2, and all i think it'll take is the next gen being backwards compatible. Looking at the final wave here, this seems reasonable but leaves some real tour bangers on the table.
I can't believe they added all the characters people wanted plus pechete but I still want Kirby but I think there will either be a booster character pass or there will be more characters coming in wave 6 that haven't been announced yet
I mean, they just felt like leftovers because we already know what tracks are left. Plus, the other waves had fan favorites people were nostalgic for, while Wave 6 has 4 courses from Tour, which less people play. Same thing goes for BC3, since it’s basically a Tour course. And the 2 fan favorites, Airship and Mountain, are uncertain, though the most likely. We just have Rainbow Road to 100% look forward too. It’s not a bad course, it’s one of the best Rainbow Roads, but it doesn’t compare to other Wii tracks like Gorge, Cape, or Moonview.
I'm really hoping for Rosalina's Ice World since it is one of my favourite tracks from Mario Kart 7, but I'm fully prepared for Mushroom Bridge or something equally nonsensical (at this point in time)
Another course that can potentially be the mystery course is Dry Dry Ruins. This is due to Nintendo favoring tracks with half-pipes and it would be awkward if Dry Dry Ruins is the only track in Tour with half-pipes that wasn’t ported to Deluxe. The other theory that supports this is that Nintendo bumped Moonview Highway to Wave 5 might be due to them deciding with another Wii course for the Acorn Cup. Here is my predictions before the September Nintendo Direct: Acorn Cup: Rome Avanti Wii Dry Dry Ruins GCN DK Mountain Piranha Plant Cove Blue Shell Cup: Madrid Drive SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 Piranha Plant Pipeline Wii Rainbow Road

This might've been entirely accurate had you went with the other Wii course on the table weirdly. Not bad logic. They really loved those Wii courses lol.
In hindsight there was TWO curveballs, daisy circuit and Rosalina’s ice world, which are both coincidentally courses I’m nostalgic for and really wanted in the BCP 😂
I want a wuhu loop/maka wuhu mishmash using route changes to combine them, but... there was a bit of a theme that makes me 50/50 on *wii* rr, and might be GCN rr. Wave 1-3 had all the 3ds tracks [hence wuhu island's connection], and its rainbow road. Wave 4-6 had all the gcn tracks, so could have its rr.
@@rookiebanks2693 trust me I want it, but it’s prob not coming. It’s a mushroom cup track, which means it’s too easy for wave 6. There’s already too many Wii tracks, and it doesn’t have a tour remake. I Don't care. It's so exhilarating especially with crazy items in mario kart wii. All you do in DDJ is drive under and near a SINGLE DINO. Acorn Cup: Madrid Drive Daisy Circuit DK Mountain Piranha Plant Cove Spiny Cup: Rome Avanti Rosalina’s Ice World SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 Wii Rainbow Road Extra Cup: Piranha Plant Pipeline Dry Dry Ruins Airship Fortress GCN Rainbow Road
This would be such an insane twist, and I can almost see it, since the total would be 100 courses. This would also allow Piranha Plant Cove to still act as a city with 3 variants, with it still having a distinction of being in the extra cup. I'd probably go: - Tour Rome Avanti - SNES Bowser Castle 3 - N64 Frappe Snowland - Piranha Plant Pipeline - Tour Madrid Drive - 3DS Wario Shipyard - GCN DK Mountain - Wii Rainbow Road Extra Cup: - Piranha Plant Cove - GBA Lakeside Park - Wii Daisy Circuit - DS Airship Fortress Thought about DDR but we have enough Wii tracks already lol
@@HDRookie Honestly, I think DDR is the track to make this the most possible. Its Tour remake is similar to Daisy Circuit’s effort wise, but it would stay in Tour. Rosalina’s Ice World also fits as a winter track. And Airship is a fan favorite. For GCN Rainbow Road, that is the biggest stretch, but not impossible. Plus, Tour tracks ended in November 2022. Nintendo has a whole year to make a new track. And it may be Mario Movie themed, which came out after Tour tracks finished. And Cove, I did think about it being there, but Pipeline may have full anti-gravity on the ceilings. But if it doesn’t, then I would swap the two nitros. I also have this so each game had an even amount of retros. 11 Wii and 7 GCN, DS, & 3DS is just a weird amount. I also hope they add a 14 track option for selection, so that you’re able to play all Tour courses back to back. But I just want to say, I give this like a 5% chance, it’s more for fun than an actual prediction.
@@HDRookie I also think they showed Daisy Circuit because that is the one surprise track we suspected, but then be surprised by 4 new courses. They don’t even need to be S tier courses, they could be B tier and people would still be hyped just because of the extra cup. GCN Rainbow Road will hype people up solely because it’s a non Tour track, and it’s on the higher end of Rainbow Road. Rosalina’s Ice World however, it’s a good track, and I know some people like it, but most people don’t even remember the track, but it fits as a winter track. Also, this would get more people to buy the dlc. In Wave 6 alone we’ll have Dry Dry Ruins, Daisy Circuit, Wii Rainbow Road, and DK Mountain. The dlc is mostly for Wii fans, so this will make their day. And then add Cove, Pipeline, and BC3, which will probably become fan favorites. And of course Airship Fortress. Nintendo loves being unpredictable for no reason. There's a lot of logic suggesting it gets this slot, but I wouldn't mark it in. DKM definitely feels like a good sleeper pick if this wave is going to be modeled after Wave 3 in any way, imo. Doesn't mean it'll happen of course.
I still think the mystery retro is...Mushroom Bridge. Hope I'm wrong though! My copium prediction would be Airship Fortress, Shy Guy Bazaar, or Rosalina Ice World.
I really don’t understand. Nintendo have been so concerned about not making courses overlap in themes yet they’re ok putting two piranha plant courses in the same wave? I’d say the two GCN jungle tracks are more different from each other than the piranha plant courses. It doesn’t make any kind of sense.
@@ArendAlphaEagle By that same logic why add DK Mountain when DK Summit/Snowboard Cross is also a Mountain Track that appeared in MKWii that begins with being shot out of a cannon and has you go downhill to the finish line, but better in every way? Okay the answer to my above example and most of the other questionable decisions is Wii Stans.
The mystery track is cool speculation, but i think everyone shouldn't have Bridged to a potential incorrect track in a solid prediction. Edit: I might as well take said bridge, block it off, and grow daisies on it out of hilarity.
I quite genuinely would prefer Dino Dino for having more unique set pieces, Noshi especially always puts a smile on my face, but it really does feel like DK Mountain is a way better fit when talking about course predictions. Ending cup 1 with DK into Cove sounds way too fitting. I personally think the pattern will parralel but not entirely mirror wave 3, where a fan fav ended cup 1 and cup 2 went tour original into rainbow. Wave 6 will do cup 2 identical but I feel like wave 1 should end on a strong tour track. Also diversifying settings between cups would be good, I predict Madrid first and Rome second because of pure difficulty in design. That being said Athens is one of the more technical tracks of wave 5 and they started with it, so its possible Nintendo could care less about this. I'm preferential to the idea of opening up with the city with more epic feel and I think that would be Madrid due to all the set pieces and dynamics the course will traverse through. I would very grateful if the first teaser for MK8 Wave 6 followed the pattern of wave 3, tour original and recent to reveal your course, in this case hopefully revealing the mystery course or just throwing in Mushroom Bridge to get it over with. And, it's possible if they do the wave 3 pattern of teasing they could show off perhaps the Jungle track instead... One of the debates could be solved by this reveal....
If there's a time where it would make sense, it would be now. Besides, it's almost certainly going to happen to 1 of the nitro courses. Would be easy to match them as such.

I have to disagree you your picks because your forgetting important reason why it wont happen: Wave 6 should MOSTLY mirror Wave 3's tracks in terms of theming Because Wave 3 gave us a spooky track and a winter track to fit the holiday theming at the end of each year which is fitting with Tours pattern of tracks in mobile. So i the only resonal picks would be: SNES Vanilla Lake 2, RMX Vanilla Lake 2, N64 Sherbet Land or 3DS Rosalina's Ice World, for its winter theme. DS Luigi's Mansion because it wont collide with one of the upcoming original tracks in wave 6 since they both had water in each track and besides all the SNES Ghost Valley, N64 Banshee Boardwalk and GBA Broken Pier is too similar to Boo Lake because it focuses in both water and wooden boards as tracks, and also DS Luigi's Mansion is way better because it has no water or wooden boards as the main tracks. And i still believe that we will still get a GBA track in wave 6 since every single wave has ALWAYS gave us 1 GBA track since the whole pass started and i think that GBA track should either be Bowser Castle 3 or 4 and remove the SNES Bowser Castle 3. And i do believe the unknown track will be a NEW retro track that is NOT in Tour's files even IF fans speculate its not in Tour.
THERE'S EVERYTHING WRONG WITH IT. ● Just because Wave 1-5 has a GBA track, it doesn't mean wave 6 will have. ● What's the point of remaking SNES Bowser's Castle 3 with a big grow up, just not use it in the BCP? ● Luigi's Mansion is in the Mushroom Cup. Sure, you can argue that Wave 3 has Flower Cup track, but that's Wave 3. Wave 5 is harder than Wave 2 because it has no circuit track, and Wave 4 is harder than Wave 1 because of (DS) Mario Circuit since it is the hardest circuit, which is the reason why it is in the Star Cup right before Airship Fortress. ● Moonview Highway replaced the unknown nitro, so we can't have three nitro in one wave. ● We have Pinanha Plant Cove, which is in Ruins, so it kinda counts as a Spooky, Right? ● There's no better track than (Wii) Rainbow Road. Some tracks aren't fan favorite, some aren't in Tour, and some feel like there's more which in reality, it's not.
When I say mirroring Wave 3, I just mean in terms of the patterns, not necessarily the tracks themselves. Stuff like having a fan favorite to a close a cup as well as a Rainbow Road. Harder tracks than usual, and tour originals in slot 3 of cups.
@@HDRookie I agree because he didn't realize that one of the nitro tracks got replaced by (Wii) Moonview Highway. The GBA tracks being in wave 1-5 doesn't mean anything. Like the first two waves have N64 track, so wave 3 would have it, but nope.
@@HDRookieYes, it is your opinion* on what it got replaced since Moonview Highway code name was CNSW_63. I know that wave 6 doesn't need a GBA track and a Spooky track. It actually needs the best tracks from the Star and Special Cup. We're not getting a new nitro track because... One, having three nitro is too much (which is the reason why I think that one of the nitro tracks was a placeholder). Two, there wasn't any datamine about having more nitro tracks coming. There's no better end than (Wii) Rainbow Road. The GBA one will be saved for the next entry. The DS one isn't a fan favorite track. Getting the GP and RMX tracks is very unlikely. The 9 is between 8 and 10, so we can't get the GCN one. Plus, Nintendo treats Double Dash as their least favorite child. We're still getting (SNES) Bowser's Castle 3 since it is the only one to get a big revamped.
There are literally no GBA slots left; they were all used up by Sky Garden, Snow Land, Boo Lake, Riverside Park, and Sunset Wilds. Meanwhile, there's exactly one SNES slot left. Also, SNES BC3 _also_ borrows elements already in MK8D (Thwomps and Bone Piranha Plants), whereas GBA BC4 ironically has an element that _isn't_ in MK8D yet (the flying giant iron ball dispensers).

I like rosalila as a charatar i whoud be happy if that track comes
I agree
Rosalina's ice world is my favorite 3DS track
And it's remake in tour is gorgeous
I'd be happy for it to be Rosalina's Ice World. As much as I really want the mystery track to be Airship Fortress (if it really is a mystery track or its really just Mushroom Bridge after all), but as long as it's a track that I'd be happy with, I'll have no complaints.
I pray to god that they add Airship Fortress.
If they don't I will be furious
Okay
So my prediction still stands as this:
Acorn Cup
Tour Rome Avanti
SNES Bowser’s Castle 3
GCN DK Mountain
Piranha Plant Cove
Spiny Cup:
Tour Madrid Drive
GCN Mushroom Bridge
Piranha Plant Pipeline
Wii Rainbow Road
The Mushroom Bridge spot is weird Ik but it fits with a developing pattern I noticed where we got the GCN tracks in the BCP in the same order as their completed development in Tour (Waluigi Stadium first since we had its full render over a year ago, Daisy Cruiser next, DK Mountain after that, and Mushroom Bridge last). Mushroom Bridge then would fit well as the third track of the wave akin to Moonview Highway being the third track of its wave too.
i ain’t reading all that 💀
lmao, what a dumb argument, Mushroom Bridge doesn’t look like it was made for the BCP, Waluigi Stadium and SNEA Bowser’s Castle 3 are much better examples of tracks that look like they were made _for_ the BCP…
I ain’t reading all that

Unlike the shitty Mushroom Bridge, Peach Gardens was still a decent challenge and an actual good track…
Bro sounds like Spongebob forcing Gary to eat his dessert.
Honestly the only way they could justify it being in Wave 6 would be a gimmick, so maybe. I think at this point it is more likely that BC4 surprise replaces BC3 though. Pretty sure the GCN course is just going to be one of the jungles.
Airship fortress is my favorite Mario Kart DS course and I have so many good memories of it
it'll be such a shame when it doesn't get in the bcp
I want DDJ instead of DKM so bad, I'm copium predicting idc
Wave 6 predictions:
Acorn Cup:
Tour Rome Avanti: It makes sense, with its more relaxing atmosphere and the fact that Rome has a history with Acorns.
Spiny Cup:
Tour Madrid Drive: While having a simpler layout than Rome, Madrid feels more chaotic, which is perfect for the final cup of the DLC.
If this is prediction is true you may as well just release wave 6 now with no build up
@@CertifiedSoapEater well, that Daisy Circuit comment didn't age quite so well

I like your course selection. I pray that these are the tracks Nintendo choose. I will say that although it sounds weird, Nintendo has some variation with the skybox/time of day aesthetic in each cup it seems. With this in mind I would personally switch Piranha Plant Pipeline and Piranha Plant Cove, making the Acorn Cup go a in night-sunset-night-day pattern, and the Spiny Cup go in a day-space-day-space pattern.
With us getting DK Summit in Wave 4. I feel like that gives Dino Dino Jungle the edge over DK mountain. Plus the signs in coconut mall and a good sign

It would introduce a non Tour track, but Tour courses ended months ago, and Wave 6 is probably coming out in December. That gives around 6 months to make a new track, which modders have done before with less time. It would also add a winter track, which just fits. It’s also a triple whammy because we only have 2 other ghost tracks in the game and 0 Luigi tracks. Also Wave 6 will probably release around November, so it would fit right in with the theme

After watching the Nintendo Direct Wave 6 sneak peek, I think Daisy Circuit
I could back Rosalina's Ice World considering that I have felt like 3DS has been terribly underrepresented in this BCP given the game actually has a lot of good courses that weren't chosen for the BCP.
One possible factor here is that Nintendo might not want two DS tracks in wave 6. If you count Pirhana Plant Pipeline as a finished form of the unreleased beta DS Dokan Course then DS Airship Fortress might not appear.
Def don't think they see PPP as a DS track, I think it was just inspired by it
Well, considering Wii Daisy Circuit was revealed last week, unless if Piranha Plant Pipeline was excluded from Wave 6, I sadly don’t see DS Airship Fortress returning, likely because, at this point, almost every original Tour course has returned in the Pass, barring the REMIX tracks, which are well designed, despite being based of the SNES and GBA tracks with variants.
I also think the prefix is likely to no longer be 100% accurate, but thanks to the first 5 waves, it’ll be over 95% accurate at the very least.
Overall, although we may likely get this selection of courses that I have chosen, personally, this order may work out well:
For the Acorn Cup:
Tour Rome Avanti
Wii Daisy Circuit
Piranha Plant Cove (Tour) - Rename to Ocean Cove
And GCN DK Mountain
And for the Spiny Cup:
Tour Madrid Drive
Piranha Plant Pipeline (Tour) - Rename to Warp Pipe Canyon, and as I said, credit to Albert Boris for the name change
SNES Bowser Castle 3
And Wii Rainbow Road
Honestly, excluding Daisy Circuit and the Tour tracks, I‘m more hoping for GCN DK Mountain, SNES Bowser Castle 3 (A definite for me just because we need a retro Bowser’s Castle in 8 Deluxe), and Wii Rainbow Road just because we can’t end the Pass without a Rainbow Road, even if it seems stupid to some people.
Either way, hope we get more information about the final wave soon!
Sky High Sundae is an 8DX original. Same with Yoshi’s Island and Squeaky Clean Sprint.
Then why are they called nitros for tour in tour and look like tour tracks?
They’re not. Each of those were datamined from Tour and their internal course names include “mob” (mobile).
Every non-city Tour course is not listed as a Tour course in MK8DX.
@@cam935n They look like they belong in 8 DX
@@nedrostram2360 Yeah, but they would have been in Tour first if they were original to Tour
My predictions are:
Acorn Cup
- Tour Madrid Drive
- GCN Mushroom Bridge
- SNES Bowser's Castle 3
- Piranha Plant Cove
Spiny Cup
- Tour Rome Avanti
- GCN DK Mountain
- Piranha Plant Pipeline
- Wii Rainbow Road
mobMU wasn’t a test track it was just scrapped, it wasn’t a placeholder, and DK Mountain isn’t happening ffs
… you definitely wrote this high on copium, how are you doing now that it’s not in the BCP?
Piranha Plant Pipeline isn't actually a Piranha Plant-named course in the original Japanese version.
They’re not similar in gameplay though. One is a mostly underwater ruins course at night with limited flight. The other is a multi path course driving into different colored pipes with Fuzzies and Piranha Plants in the day time.
Piranha plant pipeline is not even the Japanese name, which is pipe canyon (A name which is way better)

I can’t see Shipyard coming. I wouldn’t be mad if it did, but it’s unlikely for 2 main reasons.
1.) Its theme is very similar to Cove’s
2.) Its music is very similar to Pipelinez
If mushroom bridge gets chosen this will be the least hype wave
If it’s Airship though (with DK Mountain), it may be the most hype. They’re some of the biggest fan favorites favorites.
Here after the Daisy Circuit reveal
Hey, we gave it a shout at the end for a reason haha.
I have a hunch that gba Luigi circuit or DS Luigi’s mansion will be the mystery course
For Wave 6 ?!

There is enough for a booster pass 2, and all i think it'll take is the next gen being backwards compatible. Looking at the final wave here, this seems reasonable but leaves some real tour bangers on the table.
I can't believe they added all the characters people wanted plus pechete but I still want Kirby but I think there will either be a booster character pass or there will be more characters coming in wave 6 that haven't been announced yet
seriously though the waves so far have been mostly very thoughtful, and this wave feels just like the leftovers that weren't included yet

I mean I want toads factory but it’s too late for that one
@@brickstop3207No. “Toad’s Factory” has a chance because Mario Kart Tour isn’t over yet.
The only way I could see it happening is if it gets a simultaneous tour release; but even then that’s unlikely since I don’t think tour has any more open course IDs.
My predictions
Acorn Cup:
Tour Rome Avanti
Wii Daisy Circuit
GCN DK Mountain
Piranha Plant Pipeline
Spiny Cup:
Tour Madrid Drive
Piranha Plant Cove
SNES BC3
Wii Rainbow Road
DK MOUNTAIN IS THE BEST COURSE IN MK HISTORY AND NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE! 😁
Top 5 for sure, and easily the best in Double Dash (Waluigi Stadium and Daisy Cruiser are both 10/10 though). It better come in.
Lol it’s not even good, you just drive of a mountain, it’s so mediocre. Meanwhile in Dino Dino Jungle: driving underneath a huge Dino, don’t try to fall off the bridges, going in a huge crystal cave and fly out of it to go above the huge Dino this time and then you end the lap with huge gisers. But DK Mountain is just DK Summit without snow and with falling rocks 💀
I Don't care. It's so exhilarating especially with crazy items in mario kart wii. All you do in DDJ is drive under and near a SINGLE DINO. The crystal cave is boring, the second bridge is boring in DD, only improved by the glider in 7, and the geyser part is boring. The only really standout part is the split path bridge. Just my opinion though, feel free to not care. @@Sem_sm
@@inkedsharkyt Gorge did the crystal cave way better. Vancouver did the bridge way better. DK Jungle and Mountain do the Jungle better. DK Mountain also arguably does the Mountain setting the best. Mountain is a better track for more people, that’s why it returned before DDJ.
@@JKV2500lmao, what a shit take, Gorge fucking sucks compared to Dino Dino Jungle, and DK Mountain does nothing better than Dino Dino Jungle, DK Mountain is the worse track in every single way…
The only meh track of this predicted wave would be Rosalina’s Ice World for me, and even then I’m fine with it. I’d be VERY happy with this!!
Looks like we won't be getting RIW as well now. (:
We got Rosalina’s ice world lmao
Prediction: Nintendo will add more than 4 new characters.
This will include Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline and R.O.B
🪦 R.O.B.
The character reveals for wave 6 already came out, lol
Close, lol.
Duude SNES BC3 is so nostalgic to me.
I’d love to see toad’s Toad’s factory added
You know what, I’m a predicted a extra cup. Like one where you have to unlock it by beating every cup. It’s not likely, but I can see it happening.
Acorn Cup:
Madrid Drive
Daisy Circuit
DK Mountain
Piranha Plant Cove
Spiny Cup:
Rome Avanti
Rosalina’s Ice World
SNES Bowser’s Castle 3
Wii Rainbow Road
Extra Cup:
Piranha Plant Pipeline
Dry Dry Ruins
Airship Fortress
GCN Rainbow Road
This would be such an insane twist, and I can almost see it, since the total would be 100 courses. This would also allow Piranha Plant Cove to still act as a city with 3 variants, with it still having a distinction of being in the extra cup. I'd probably go:
- Tour Rome Avanti
- SNES Bowser Castle 3
- N64 Frappe Snowland
- Piranha Plant Pipeline
- Tour Madrid Drive
- 3DS Wario Shipyard
- GCN DK Mountain
- Wii Rainbow Road
Extra Cup:
- Piranha Plant Cove
- GBA Lakeside Park
- Wii Daisy Circuit
- DS Airship Fortress
Thought about DDR but we have enough Wii tracks already lol
But tracks like Airship and DDR will hype people up because their great tracks, arguable the best track in their respective game.
This is assuming there is a bonus cup and my track predictions are correct btw. Like I said, I’m giving this a 5%, but we can still have fun predicting, right?
yay they added funky kong :D I hope they make another booster course so I can play as rob too
I think we’re getting:
Rome Avanti
Airship Fortress or Shy Guy Bazaar (please game)
DK mountain
Pirahna plant cove
Second cup is Madrid Drive
Pirahna plant pipeline
Snes bc3
Wii RR
And here you see throughout the video... a heard of wild Waluigi's.
We use the old footage on occasion here, lol. Some good races I have saved.
Rosalinas ice world or airship fortress are the only other acceptable choices if it's not a gcn track. Gcn would still be far better

Spoilers: it’s the final course in the acorn cup.
I still think the mystery retro is...Mushroom Bridge. Hope I'm wrong though! My copium prediction would be Airship Fortress, Shy Guy Bazaar, or Rosalina Ice World.
Airship fortress/Toads Factory
Why are people still playing with waluigi, wiggler, roller? It sucks now because of wave 4
This is old footage.
Yeah, kinda aged like milk...
Nintendo rarely does the predictable thing. This time they did. Not like I didn't acknowledge Daisy Circuit at the end...
Yeah, you mentioned other people think about it, but that you didn't choose it as your top guess.
It’s hopefully going to be a surprise nitro
Would've been cool I think, but seems that this is cooked now
I really don’t understand. Nintendo have been so concerned about not making courses overlap in themes yet they’re ok putting two piranha plant courses in the same wave? I’d say the two GCN jungle tracks are more different from each other than the piranha plant courses. It doesn’t make any kind of sense.
They just have a similar name, nothing else. DS Mario Circuit and Riverside Park have more similarities than Cove and Pipeline.
I'd say it's in name only. The GCN jungle tracks definitely feel more similar to me.
My hope for the mystery track as DK Pass.
It's a winter.
It's liked.
And I don't want DK Mountain.
...do we honestly need ANOTHER DK-themed winter course in the BCP? Especially since DK's Snowboard Cross is much better than boring ol' DK Pass?
@@ArendAlphaEagle By that same logic why add DK Mountain when DK Summit/Snowboard Cross is also a Mountain Track that appeared in MKWii that begins with being shot out of a cannon and has you go downhill to the finish line, but better in every way?
Okay the answer to my above example and most of the other questionable decisions is Wii Stans.
I'm with you. I like DKP more than DKS. Can't win em all though.
The mystery track is cool speculation, but i think everyone shouldn't have Bridged to a potential incorrect track in a solid prediction.
Edit: I might as well take said bridge, block it off, and grow daisies on it out of hilarity.
Def looks like no Bridge now 😬
I quite genuinely would prefer Dino Dino for having more unique set pieces, Noshi especially always puts a smile on my face, but it really does feel like DK Mountain is a way better fit when talking about course predictions.
DK Mountain doesn’t have any evidence behind it, and Madrid Drive is more difficult than Rome Avanti wtf are you on about??
Well, it revealed the mystery course which is very nice of Nintendo haha
Bro, they don’t put nitro tracks in third slots unless a Rainbow Road takes the fourth so if DK Mountain comes it won’t be at the end…
Just stop…
If there's a time where it would make sense, it would be now. Besides, it's almost certainly going to happen to 1 of the nitro courses. Would be easy to match them as such.
As long as Airship Fortress comes out, im happy
Would you be happy with any other track if its not Airship Fortress? As long as it's a track that I like, I won't be complaining.
@@joeyscoey883 Thing is, all the previous tracks that i liked have already come out. The 3 tracks i have left that i want are Wario colosseum, ds bowser castle and ds airship fortress. I know Wario colosseum is basically impossible as there already is a Wario stadium, bowser castle ds is unlikely to come out, wo all my hope rides on airship fortress
@@adrianpaulochoa9825Airship has the highest chance too. It’s also kinda gloomy, so it could be the Boo Lake of Wave 6.
I thought maybe Airship Fortress could be the Maple Treeway of Wave 6 (curveball track) instead of Boo Lake but if you say so.
@@joeyscoey883 I said Boo Lake because both have grimy atmospheres. Could kinda be a Halloween track if you stretch enough. DK Mountain would probably be the Maple Treeway of the wave, as a cup ender.

Acorn Cup:
Tour Rome Avanti
GCN Mushroom Bridge
SNES Bowser Castle 3
Tour Piranha Plant Cove
Spiny Cup:
Tour Madrid Drive
GCN Dino Dino Jungle
Tour Piranha Plant Pipeline
Wii Rainbow Road
Looking very possible that you get all the slots right, just Wii DC for MB. Think it is possible we see BC3 and DDJ swapped (prob as DKM).
Damn 5/8, you got both double dash courses wrong and PPP.
4:38 bruh wth do people see in that track, Dino Dino Jungle is so much better.
What do people see in that track, DK mountain is so much better imo
@@komatreatment6073 DK Mountain is DK Summit without snow and with some falling rocks. In Dino Dino Jungle you drive underneath a giant Dinosaur, you can take multiple bridge paths and the fastest paths are the most challenging, you drive into an insane cave with gisers and a cool shortcut, after that you glide above the same giant Dinosaur and you and the lap with huge gisers. DK Mountain has literally nothing, you’re just driving off a Mountain with rocks falling, we already have DK Summit (which is much better than DK Mountain) and we have Rock Rock Mountain, so DK Mountain doesn’t add anything to the BCP and is an already mediocre track.

Luigi Circuit 🤣
I have to disagree you your picks because your forgetting important reason why it wont happen:
Wave 6 should MOSTLY mirror Wave 3's tracks in terms of theming
Because Wave 3 gave us a spooky track and a winter track to fit the holiday theming at the end of each year which is fitting with Tours pattern of tracks in mobile.
So i the only resonal picks would be:
SNES Vanilla Lake 2, RMX Vanilla Lake 2, N64 Sherbet Land or 3DS Rosalina's Ice World, for its winter theme.
@@Peppizza73 I don't fully agree - I believe the 3rd nitro was replaced by Daisy Circuit. Moonview Highway took over for Mushroom Bridge.
I don't like this whole BC3 talk, GBA4 is a lot more probably in my opinion because of how it borrows elements from already present MK8DX tracks.
I think BC3 was the plan for the Booster Pass, but I wouldn't entirely be shocked if they replaced the SNES slot with BC4.
Im gonna cringe if its Rosalina's Ice World its gonna be called Monde Glacé d'Harmonie cause of France translation in Booster Pass and Rosalina will keep her name. So cringe 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
