OLIVIA ROSE AUSTIN || Summer 2022 first flush || PNW, ZONE 8A

- Here is one of the top fave David Austin rose, first flush this 2022 in my extremely weird late blooming. This bush suffered from botrytis bad, many of its new buds turned black and wilted.
Knowing nitrogen will accelerate the problem, I withheld fertilizing and worked on adding banana peel as well as crusted egg shells on its base soil. The plant bounced back. See for yourself the mass of blooms. Enjoy!

In Austin, can you do a video on what you do to water the roses? Do you use drip/micro sprinkler, manual?
I just do manual watering. Most Austin are water hug so yo7 wanna give them deep watering about 3-4 times a week and daily when it gets into 80*
Do you remember where you purchased the plant? Love your plant!! 💓
