  • My life is hectic and here is my soft launch of my 2024 rose garden. Get excited to see Olivia Rose Austin, Abraham Darby, and Crocus! - their gigantic blooms is a testament why David Austin roses is a rose breeder craze.
I am a Dental Assistant, a cat momma, and love gardening. I am close to Canada border and my climate experience would attest that my zone is dependent to what’s going on in Canada 😂, so My zone is more of 7b a lot of times than 8A. I specially love English romantic roses, English style of gardening, meaning balance clean structural gardening designs,
and of course houseplants! Drop me questions and I will share you my personal journey tips on growing them. Enjoy watching and don’t forget to subscribe. Have a great day folks!

Lots of bees for sure! Some sleeps inside between the tight petals, silly 🐝 that’s why I don’t spray.

Your roses are soooo beautiful and healthy.
Do u do any disease preventative spraying?
The Crocus rose, how fragrant is it?

Thank you! I am OCD not clinically, I don’t think, so I just really clean the plant bush base, thin out folliage on the bottom part for air flow, don’t wet leaves when watering. It’s not gonna be perfect but it does help. Hose down aphids killing eggs, I don’t spray aiming for a symbiotic ecosystem in my garden,. If you are looking for a healthy and great smell rose, I don’t recommend crocus, she is beautiful but had mildew since day one , she has gotten better now but also of really mild scent, hope this help.

    Very Beautiful!!
I'm Envious, lol. Deer are eating my roses. They ate all my lily buds. Now they are eating the leaves! I am finding a solution, but I got a mild case of some poison ivy, lol. TY. for sharing your Beautiful Roses!❤

Oh no! That is so frustrating! There are deers around my area, I see them when I got for a walk, my backyard has a retention pond, they don’t seem like to wander try my space, thank goodness. You will figure it out, I hear different methods to scare them away,

I can relate to that. Heard fencing will help? I have rabbits, squirrels, and under ground animals that eat all the rose buds, young canes, and roots too. So frustrating. I dig them up and put into pots. Chicken wires didn't help until i surround pots and beds with BIRD NETTINGS. I wrap and put wads of netting all over the flower beds, trellis, trees, and on the ground. It's unsightly but I finally have some buds and roses. Thank God! Good luck to you!
