Your comments are greatly appreciated. It's been about a year and a half since I did this repair and I have had no issues with the parts that I purchased for this vehicle.

Great video! Loved the animations pointing out the locations of the bolts.
Is it necessary to crack the bleeder valve when you redo the brakes?

It prevents dirty brake fluid from being pushed backwards through the system… On the 2001 era of these trucks, the dirty brake fluid ends up causing the ABS pump to fail.

Hey I’m new to cars I just wanna know why did you bleed the breaks?

The braking system is filled with hydraulic fluid which does not compress. When you push the break pedal you are literally pushing the fluid through the system. When you open up the bleed screw it introduces air into the breaking system. Air will compress, thus making your brakes spongy. By bleeding the brakes you are pushing out the air.
