Watching AD breakdown and say she felt like a sacrifice for him becoming a better person was hard. She was heartbroken. Clay should’ve figured his stuff out before getting to the altar.
But great video and I def agree there is generational trauma there that needs to be addressed.

That’s why this show is so fucked up. They could have dated and gotten married in a year. The show making it now or never ruined these peoples lives. Not to mention her sisters who are kids and are already traumatized about marriage.

He was not ready, he loves AD, but was not ready to tie the knot. Getting married in two weeks is crazy!!!.

I commented last time that the not coming home at night was a problem for me. My dad was an entrepreneur and in the beginning it took a LOT of his time. But he always came home because my mom (his wife) was a priority and his family was a priority. He made sure to spend extra time with me even though that meant going to work with him for years. Families can not be onesided no matter what that family looks like. Clay only said good things about AD as in how she helps him, but AD has qualities that shouldn't have anything to do with HIM.
Though Clay was being open with AD, he should have gotten help previously. Someone has to break cycles, and that can't be done by making excuses and not getting help. AD should NOT date Clay after. Her only fault is low self image . AD needs to really work to build herself up and get her self esteem and self worth where it should be. If she doesn't she will keep trying to fix men.
I'm happy that Jimmy left too. Chelsea would have broken him.
As a single mom of a boy and a girl. I pour into them how special they are, to treat people kindly, to surround yourself with positive people, and don't put up with anyone treating you as less than. Prayerfully they grow up and always know their worth and be kind to their future spouses.
I 100% agree, like you said even the busiest entrepreneurs can find a way home. But we know based on his Dad what a ride a long could look like. So who knows what Clay was actually doing.
Chelsea woulda definitely broke him. He got out of there!
