In this video filmed in the summer of 2021, I make the knife from the video game "Battlefield" . This was an audition tape I made in June to try to get a gig with an adverting agency. The knife is a cosplay and will not be used as a real knife.

The ACB-90 is my favorite knife across all the battlefield games!
The C-100 is a semi close second. But the ACB-90 was by far the coolest blade in the older Bf's
Here I thought prop knives were supposed to be made of rubber or foam.

WHAAAT!! I’ve never seen a Perfect Handle hammer. Where did you find that? I got a sweet mini Perfect flat head that’s about 3 1/2” long total from one of the antiques guys at Maker Camp. I thought that was cool.

Anyone have an idea on what size bandsaw blade Jimmy always uses? I have a vintage bandsaw and would like to get the same blade. Seems really multi purpose.
Jimmy has LOTS of bandsaws. You're not seeing the same one used for everything. I believe he's stated before that most of the time he keeps 10-18 TPI blades on the saws. Band saws set up for metal cutting usually run at 100-400 feet per minute, and those set up for wood cutting can be anywhere from 1000-5000 feet per minute. Some big industrial 3 phase bandsaws (like Do-All brand) can run at different speeds, so you can just change the blade and speed based on what you're cutting

I don't use a knife (besides cutting food) very often, I'm wondering if someone who uses a serrated knife regularly could explain its advantage over the non serrated edge. And I'm talking about actually using the serrations regularly, not just having them for specific things that might come up once in a while. I have never needed to cut something and reached for a toothed blade, except when it was a piece of wood. Is that what it's for (serrations on 2-3 inches of a knife edge), sawing through twigs? Forgive my ignorance, and please help me understand.
They're great for hoses, rubber tubing and rope.

hey man. sometimes when im using tape to cover something with curves i cant get it to fit without it bunching up. i noticed you covered the handle well with the tape there and wondered if its a skill thing or are you using a tape that helps that process along?

I am curious because i dont know so please educate me and not flame me. I have seen a few people on youtube making knifes from old saw blades just like the one in this video. Is there something special with those old saw blades or are they basically super strong and best for making knifes. TIA
Old sawblases are good tool steel. You can make a knife with having to harden it if your careful with your he grind. Keep it cool

@00:35 why didn't you use a bull nose endmill or similar?
The word you're looking for is ball nose end mill. A bull nose end mill just has a large corner radius, and would leave a flat bottom in the fuller. He did it Because he was able to quickly stick it in the vise. He didn't need a fixture plate and toe clamps. Much quicker this way for the quick & dirty prop he was making for an audition tape.
