I don’t consider ray a national treasure because gambling is very addictive and we all know that it ruins people’s lives and families , people can’t control their habit, it’s like class A drugs for some people. So far ray hasn’t got enough money so he has to promote and encourage people to get into gambling. He could have said no to the offer, a thinking person would have but he’s clearly not that and that makes him too thick to be a national treasure..

I recently went with my wife to see the movie, Poor Things. I knew absolutely nothing about it. It was totally mesmeric, particularly having no idea what it was about or what to expect next. So much so, that I probably missed much of the detail and nuance of the film. I left feeling that I really needed to see it all over again to fully appreciate it's craft. Ray's right. Trailers are absolutely ruining modern movies. Knowing the plot, characters and main action scenes, pretty much gives away the magic.

When I was a kid in the 70's Rod Stewart had a record out called Sailing. Me and my Mum loved it, so I saved up my pocket money and went into town to buy the record. Unfortunately they had sold out of Sailing but they did have the album Crazy Horses by the Osmonds.
50+ years later I still have the album, although I don't have a record player to play it on, lol. Also, I never told a soul I had it as it was seen as 'girly', to like the Osmonds............
