- A Chico mom shared with Action News Now additional details on the lawsuit she filed against Chico Unified School District after she said one of the schools socially transitioned her daughter's gender identity without her knowing. Action News Now edited out the daughter's name to protect her identity.
In 2020 Finland issued guidelines that state that psychotherapy, rather than puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, should be the first-line treatment for gender-dysphoric youth. This change occurred following a systematic evidence review, which found the body of evidence for pediatric transition inconclusive.
In America therapists immediately assume a diagnosis of gender dysphoria and starts children on a path of sex identity change, then puberty blockers, then opposite sex hormones until possibly double mastectomy, hysterectomy and castration.
I believe the Finnish approach is a better way to go. Let the child mature to adulthood so he or she has the ability to make such a monumental decision on their own and not regret this irreversible choice later in life.
Russian approach is much better, there’s no grooming at schools, children aren’t exposed to all this BS, they grow knowing and living to one truth, that there are two genders. Schools are to educate and all this perv video’s and propoganda in film industry should be banned. It’s that simple.

The usa pathway is based on selling as many drugs for profit as possible. Every transitioned person becomes a customer for life to 'you know who'. They're in the pockets of every gov official and behind every law concerning transitioning minors and its all about money. They are targeting anyone and everyone, including children.
Also, my opinion. There is no right way to transition because each and every person is in the correct body. No one should have to change their body to fit in or feel accepted, ever. If you do not feel accepted as you are... you need a new circle. You can be whoever you want to be without changing your body with drugs or surgery. Also, feminine and masculine energies exist in both men and women and having a dominant energy different then what is reflected physically is completely normal and we can vasalate between these energies throughout our lives. This does not mean you're in 'the wrong body'. It's 100% normal. You are fine the way you are and 'they' have been trying to make us unhappy about our bodies for years, please don't let them fool you. You are fine the way you are. Your body does not need to change, your perception of your body and of what it 'should' look like are what need change. Don't let anyone make you believe your body and whatever combination of traits that make 'you' isn't loveable! You are loveable as is!

Homeschooling and teaching our kids basic biology is what will hopefully help with these ‘trans issues’
School choice would help as well.

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!! The school should not have power over parents PERIOD. THIS HAS TO STOP. Counselors try to manipulate kids they really do. Try to relate to them just to get them to say what they want them to say. It's weird. I get schools are mandated reporters but parents need to be involved 100% of the time parents need to be called when children are being questioned. Unless the child states they are unsafe. I find that hard to believe. This mom definitely shows how unwilling and unaccepting she would have been. Kids know how to read their parents. It happened in our area of the mon terey peninsula. I had no idea how it's happening all over.
Seems Chico parents are getting informed & presenting to the school board with the law.. It is so important & we can learn & not have to recreate the wheel.

Hmm. So the school referenced a “law” when they wanted mom to stand back and shut up. Now the school is saying there is no such “law or policy.” It sounds like someone or a group is crossing boundaries with her child. And they don’t want mom to disturb them. If it’s legal in your state, record every phone call with the school system. I hope this momma bear wins!

Did they whine or cry about their situation? No, they adapted and overcame the adversities... without sugar coating, it's the child's fault for not communicating with her family and or friends , about her feelings. And when this child began to talk with school counselors, it is by law the school contact the parent immediately. Why wasn't cps called? Because it's not important and or because the school would be implicated in wrong doing

I'm a little confused. Did the school giver her daughter hormones? Or surgery? Or was this a full psychological deal only?

Not all laws are just. What about the laws for straight folks? Elementary schools should not be teaching anything sexual especially confusing there minds with their own sexuality.

We're talking about a child who's in elementary school, they don't know what they want when they are that age. The school is basically helping

The parents have the right to know what is going on in their young child's life, especially something like that.

@@LGrian Scared to tell the parent is normal. If she was abusive cps would have been involved. That's not the case. Regardless the schools are not children's parents and the child is a minor. The parent should have been notified IMMEDIATELY.

School has no business. I’m an autistic woman and have a lot of masculine traits. I was a tomboy as a child, I dressed like a child, if you asked me if I wanted to be a boy, I would have said YES! I hated my body during puberty. There’s much more, but this was the 70’s-80’s so no transitioning. I am SO glad I am not a child today!!!! I don’t understand why letting kids accept themselves, their body, mind and soul would make more sense than trying to change them. These are vulnerable kids and most have other issues. Their parents have to be part of this! I’d like to add that I a a woman, a mom to 4 boys, and happily married to my husband.
I think because they aren’t really transgender, they got caught up in a trend until they were in too deep. I have the most amazing parents whom I can trust with my life and there’s no way I would have been comfortable talking to my parents about this. Thank God I’m 44 or this could have easily been me.
I’m sorry but it’s not statistically possible for all these kids to be suddenly trans. They are victims of wickedness from the highest level.

Obviously you are the one not paying attention! Did you not hear her say they had a death in the family and the mom had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. (From her statement to the school board) That is a lot for the family and the daughter, and you show me a parent who has not missed something going on with their child and show me a child that always takes their problems to their parents especially when there is incredibly stressful situations going on in the home!
Maybe do your own due diligence before you judge someone else!

@@AJ-iy3oiLots of mothers miss things going on in their child’s lives. Mom sounds like with the death in the family and her breast cancer diagnosis, she was feeling like she was losing too much control over the life she had. Her child’s gender identity revelation appears to be the final straw on the camel’s back and she’s desperately trying to control her child’s sense of identity to preserve a piece of her own life as she knew it.
