The first was a rather classic torture test of a Barrett with safety procedures taken into account because, yeah, torture testing a .50 BMG rifle is a bit dangerous. The second was after a freak accident with a different firearm called the Serbu BFG 50. Basically what had happened is that a cartridge detonated in battery and damn near killed the guy. He wasn't even torture testing the gun, just firing it.

I actually watched this video, and the torture test had approximately no affect on the 50cal explosion. I dont remember much but he was using an old 50cal bullet that was rare but happened to be faulty.

crazy thing is Blockbuster did appear to be the front runner for awhile because before streaming took off they both offered the same service but with Blockbuster you could return the movies you ordered in the store and exchange them for movies in the store allowing you to rent more movies faster. Blockbuster didnt get into streaming though and was poorly run with way more overhead though so they lagged and it only took a couple years for Netflix to explode in popularity at Blockbusters expense. Blockbuster went from unstoppable juggernaut to death spiral over the course of like 2 or 3 years.
