Osprey Intruder

VIDEO - 4/15/21 Turn up your sound to watch this video. During my time watching this pair of osprey, another male osprey entered their space. The nesting male immediately became very agitated, displaying his wings, vocalizing warnings to the intruder to stay away and following him round and round as he circled the nest. The threatening osprey did not respond, so the male left the nest to pursue and protect his territory and mate. It wasn't long before the female joined him in the defense. After they both returned to the nest, the intruder remained, circling and circling, eventually knocking them both off the nest at the end of the video.
