Another really important thing which I want to say is that "please, stay safe "
I have listened the news and I feel very bad after knowing /having known that in America the cases are growing faster please take care of yourself.
Even in India the cases are also growing faster we can do nothing but we can stay safe .

Great lesson, this is my answer.
She had gone to the library before she came.
Manny had met her before the party.
Had you written a letter before you opened?
They had watched 2 movies by 12 am.
The dog hadn't eaten until the owner got home.
He had three drunks before the wedding.
I had seen studied the past perfect before.
I hadn't studied the past perfect until the moment. So thanks a lot for this lesson.

Oscar, thanks for watching and commenting again! I'm so sorry for the late reply.
You did a fantastic job! You only have a few mistakes.
I made #7 intentionally hard to stump you all! :) So, I had the main verb as 'have'. (He + have (3 drinks before the wedding)). Since the main verb is have, we actually need to say 'He had had 3 drinks before the wedding'. Even though that sounds weird with having two of the same word next to each other, that is the correct answer!
In your next sentence, you have two main verbs: seen and studied. So, you need to remove one of the those main verbs because it makes your sentence a bit confusing. So, you should say 'I had studied the past perfect before'. But, remember when we use this tense, we have to use it only when we are comparing it to another action in the past. There has to be another action/event recorded. So, you could say something like "I had studied the past perfect before I watched this video" or "I had studied the past perfect before I went to college".
      Overall, great job!! Thanks, Oscar!

    Thanks! Leah.
Could you please make a video on modals. I know there are more than 40modals (as I have learnt) but pls cover this topic in 4-5parts. Pls.
And also teah us have uses in English.
Sorry when I had commented you few days ago that on which topics in my reference you should make the video I had forgotten to add a really important topic that is "CAUSATIVE VERBS".
Don't feel pressurize (👉😩)I am only suggesting some topics if you feel interested in them then do videos on them otherwise it will be okay. 😊👍
Let me know if I have done mistakes in my comment. 😀

Yes, I will put both of those things on my list! I really really appreciate your suggestions, so please continue to do that! I want to teach what is helpful for you all :) I have a video on 'have/has/had' that I recorded, and it will be released next week :)
Since you asked for me to correct you, there are a few mistakes!
      -Don't feel 'pressured', not pressurize.
-'Let me know if I have made any mistakes in my comments'. It's better to use the verb 'make' when we are taking about mistakes, rather than 'do'.
      :)

Hello and Good day, Teacher Leah! Here is my answer :
    1. She had gone to the library before she came. 2. Manny had met her before the party. 3. Had you written a letter before you apologized? 4. We had walked 4 miles by 3pm. 5. They had watched 2 movies by 12 am.
    6. The dog had not eaten until the owner got home. 7. He had had 3 drinks before the wedding. 8 & 9. I had studied English grammar before I became perfect. I wish I did well in your short quiz. Thank you so much, again! Happy Learning and God Bless.

    Should I say:
We hadn't gone to library until the teacher took us , instead of " we hadn't been to library until the teacher took us!!??
    Is there any difference?

Great question! In this case, they mean the same thing. Using either verb is acceptable!

Thanks Shafqat for your answers! I apologize for the late reply.
      For your answers- excellent job!!
You only have a few mistakes. :)
The dog had not 'eaten'. 'Eaten' is the past participle of 'eat', so you should use 'eaten' as the main verb there.
I made #7 intentionally hard to stump you all! :) So, I had the main verb as 'have'. (He + have (3 drinks before the wedding)). Since the main verb is had, we actually need to say 'He had had 3 drinks before the wedding'. Even though that sounds weird with having two of the same word next to each other, that is the correct answer!
For the next sentence, we the first portion is correct, but the second part is wrong. It should say "I had not done my homework, so that's why my teacher scolded me'. When we talk about the past perfect tense, remember we are comparing two actions in the past (as you had in your sentence). But, only one of the actions should use the past perfect tense. The other should just use the simple has tense. If you look at the other sentences above, the second action in the past is always in just simple past (before she came, before you apologized, the owner got home, etc).
The same goes for your last sentence! You should say "Had you gotten what I said?" We only need to use past perfect for the first action. Lastly, 'gotten' is the past participle of get.
      Great job!!
