    Fantastic. Best instructions so far simple straight forward to understand abd follow. Instructions are generic for most chain saw. Thank you.

    I never thought to stick it under the clutch because I learned on Stihls. Thanks for the tip!

    Don’t turn on its side. Place it on a table close to the edge, and take it apart as shown, sharpen, clean what ever.. then just slide it back on. The studs will hold the bar and you can put the chain on without having to hold the bar or have the bar fall from nose weight. This is so much easier. Also get foil tape and cover the outside hole on the bar to allow more oil to stay in the chain groove. 😊

    Most chain saws can have multiple size cuttings chains as long as you have the guide bar and chain to match.

      You’re correct. This is a demo for EXTREMELY newbie saw peeps. I’ve never seen anything this basic or ever even heard of it! 😮

    When you first buy it is it already put together?

    • @ECHOTools
      @ECHOTools  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for your question. Saws are packed with bar and chain disassembled. However, Chainsaws are mostly bought from dealerships, where the dealer (an expert) should assemble and thoroughly check the saw before sale.

    I’m failing at step one. What is the chain break and why won’t the black thing come off when I took the nuts off?

    • @ECHOTools
      @ECHOTools  6 месяцев назад

      Hi Lisa, the chain break is the big black lever at the front of the saw. When it is pushed forward it is engaged and prevents the chain from moving, pull it back to disengage it before you attempt to remove the side cover. Make sure the nuts are completely loosened, you may need to pull quite firmly to remove the cover.

    Can I replace a stud for the Clutch cover. It snapped off from my Echo Battery saw. PS. I'm Unemployed Cancer Survivor, whom took up Chainsaw Carving for Stress relief. So I've put chains on a thousand times over the last
    2.5 yrs

      @ECHOTools  Год назад +1

      Hi, this is the ECHO CS-4010 - yes, it can run an 18 inch bar. What model do you have?

    • @Cd_Juarez817
      @Cd_Juarez817 Год назад +1

      Cs-3510

    • @ECHOTools
      @ECHOTools  Год назад +1

      @@Cd_Juarez817 CS-3510 is only compatible with 12, 14 or 16 inch bars.

    • @ECHOTools
      @ECHOTools  Год назад

      @4LOKRANJAN The correct chain size is usually printed on the side of the bar. Example: 3/8” (pitch) and .050” (gauge) with 72 drive links.
